The Turkish Armed Forces have abandoned another “observation post” in the northwestern Syrian region of Greater Idlib.
On November 26, Turkish troops completed their withdrawal from the post which is located near the town of Saraqib in southern Idlib. The town overlooks the M5 highway that links Hama and Aleppo, and the M4 highway between Aleppo and Lattakia.
Turkish troops were deployed earlier this year in the post in a desperate attempt to stop the Syrian Arab Army advance along the M5 highway. The post was eventually besieged by government forces.

This was the fourth post to be evacuated by Turkish troops this month. Similar posts in northern, northwestern Hama and western Aleppo were abandoned over the last few weeks.
While Turkey is withdrawing its troops from the besieged posts, it is working to establish several military positions in the al-Zawiya Mount, south of the M4.
Turkish military presence in Grater Idlib was supposedly meant to counter the growing influence of terrorist groups there. Nevertheless, Ankara’s forces are doing nothing whatsoever to confront these groups and prevent them from violating the fragile ceasefire in the region.
For one post dismantled surely they are building 5 new ones elsewhere
True decision. Hopefully all Turkish troops will withdraw from Idlib soon. We should concentrate on our prior enemy, which is US-backed YPG/PKK. Cooperation between Eurasian powers may ultimately bring peace to the Middle East.
PKK is your problem. Get the fuck out of Syria . We can deal with our problems and one of them is you. So leave this country peacefully or else…..
YPG/PKK is the problem of Turkiye, Syria, Iraq and Iran directly (and Russia indirectly). They are already occupying large parts of Syria and Iraq. Who are you to talk about our issues? Oh, another French/US puppet, in other words a Greek.
Greece shouldn’t be in Nato, it should be aligned with us
Greece surrendered to EU and NATO long time ago. US army is consolidating its presence at critical locations such as Crete. Americans also decided to build a large military base at the Turkish border (Dedeağaç, Greece). Same situation is valid for Bulgaria. Number of American soldiers are increasing there everyday. Meanwhile they are decreasing their presence in Turkiye and making plans to abondon Incirlik Airbase. Crete is the first alternative.
Take your issues and get the fuck out of here. You are full of bullshit and you make no sense
You’re preparing for an attack so your troops don’t stay hostage when that happens, your president is greedy and he wants more
Update yourself. There won’t be any attack. Turkish-Russian relations are much deeper than you realize. Our partnership is turning into strategical alliance.
Turkey-Russian relations are just business…many economic interests among them and the Oligarchy but nothing else!..but Turkey has open many fronts and has defeated the Globalist puppet Pashinyan…therefore Turkey will face problems with France, Greece and even Germany in East Mediterranean…days ago German Special Forces “landed” in a Turkish ship to find weapons…
S-400s, Turkish Stream, Akkuyu Nuclear Power Plant, etc. are not just business. Clear indications of Turkiye’s future alliances. We’re facing problems with US/EU since we started extensive operations against PKK and Gulenists in 2015. Then a coup attempt followed in 2016. The latest attack on our cargo ship will be avenged. Wait and see.
Then why are you selling drones to Ukraine to attack Donbass, your president even said Crimea belongs to him, Russia shouldn’t trust the snake like Turkey, not even for gas in Turkstream
Go ahead, please attack the Turds under ZioAmerican protection. Tell us what happens afterwards. however, something tells me the Turks will never touch those Turds.
Did you forget Peace Spring Operation? We had done it and we’ll do it again. YPG was under US protection but they begged for Russian help later. I think that was already the plan from the beginning. Another Turkish-Russian game against US interests in the region.
If those particular YPG groups were under direct US protection there would have been hundreds of Turkish corpses lying on the battlefield. Dont delude yourself, Turkey is no match against the ZioAmericans. In fact why is Turkey still in NATO, why not just leave and tell the Americans to take a hike ? What’s the fear ?
They are merely leaving the ones that are behind enemy lines and are of risky value. Just building and reinforcing their new ones that shall remain in their annexed part of Syria.
And now they are moving terrorists to NK the picture looks complete. Although there are quite a lot still to reacommodate. My guess is that Turkey will send them to another war
Is that how they toast bread .. no wonder they want to leave.
Go to hell . I don’t know who gave you the permission to be here. This is an invasion and it’s going to have a bad ending for Turks , turkomans and all the rest that are helping you.
