On March 25, the Turkish military conducted a patrol along the M4 highway in the northwestern Syrian region of Greater Idlib.
Opposition activists released a video showing Turkish armored vehicles moving on the strategic highway, which links the coastal city of Lattakia with Aleppo city.
Turkish forces conducted at least six patrols on the M4 over the last few days. The forces also made two attempts to patrol the highway along with the Russian Military Police. However, both attempts were cut short by radical militants blocking the highway.
Earlier today, the militants blew up a bridge west of the city of Jisr al-Shughur in northwest Idlib, blocking a long strip of the M4 highway.
Meanwhile, Turkish military reinforcements continue to arrive in Greater Idlib. A military convoy of 25 vehicles entered the Syrian region on March 25.
According to the UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR), Turkey deployed about 1,600 military vehicles in Greater Idlib over the last three weeks.
Turkey and Russia reached a breakthrough agreement on Greater Idlib on March 5. Under the agreement, the Turkish military should reopen the M4 highway. This term is yet to be fulfilled by Ankara, which may be preparing for a military confrontation with the Syrian Arab Army (SAA).

Electroluminescence performance was 14,000 cdm-2 at 7 V, the best reported to date, the researchers said.
The film can be applied to curved surfaces and can be stretched or wrinkled, making it suitable for application on human skin. The technology creates new possibilities for integrating full-color HD displays in wearable electronics, according to the researchers.
