The Turkish military is continuing its large-scale deployment in the northwestern Syrian region of Greater Idlib, according to several opposition sources.
On March 19, the Turkish military established another “observation post” in the region, near the town of al-Jinah in the northwestern Aleppo countryside. A day earlier, a similar post was set up near the town of Ram Hamadan in northern Idlib.

The Turkish military also reinforced its older posts in Greater Idlib. Three convoys, consisting of dozens of battle tanks, armored vehicles, rocket launchers and howitzers, arrived in the region in the last 24 hours.
According to the London-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR), the total number of Turkish “observation posts” in Greater Idlib is now 43. Originally, only 12 were established to observe the ceasefire around the region.
These “observation posts” are supporting militants in Greater Idlib, including those affiliated with al-Qaeda. From these posts, the Turkish military shelled Syrian Arab Army (SAA) positions and even opened fire at Russian warplanes during the last confrontation in the region.
Turkey now is starting to smell of counting on new NATO help.
You should not wonder. Russians are more and more helpers to Assads, so a complete Nato no hs become more and more impossible.
Some also might remind someone here, that Turkey do work and are paid to keep 3,5 mio refugees away from EU, where many are in Nato as well.
