On June 13, Turkish forces established yet another military post in the southern part of the Syrian region of Greater Idlib.

According to Enab Baladi, the new post was established near the town of Farkia, which is located in the eastern part of the al-Zawiya Mount. The pro-opposition outlet said Turkish troops were deployed in the town of Arihah while the post was being established.

Two days ago, a similar post was established near the town of Monataf in the same region. Last week, four posts were established in the towns of Bsanqul, Kafer Shalaya, Urum al-Jawz and Mareian.

The Turkish military buildup in the al-Zawia Mount comes amid reports claiming that the Syrian Arab Army and its allies are preparing to launch a large military operation in the region.

Any new military operation in Greater Idlib will likely lead to a serious military confrontation with Turkish forces. Ankara is clearly preparing for this scenario by establishing more posts and deploying additional reinforcements in the region.

That’s the geopolitical ripples of TurkStream reaching all the way and impacting the restoration of Syria’s former statehood. The Ziocorporate-backed Turkish occupation zone for moderate ISIS/al-Qaeda headchoppers in Syria is heading full-steam to N. Cyprus status. Gone are the days when Putin’d say the only way to deal with Chechen-style Islamist filth was wiping them out for good.

Ivanus59

Yes. Putin is selling Russia’s allies out to the enemies of humanity. Very sad indeed. It will take a liberated Idlib to change my mind about this.

Icarus Tanović

The filth is called Wahhabis, and no Putin isn’t selling a bit of Syria, because Russian stake in Syria is much higher that pipelines or whatever. Learn from history, from old books and encyclopedias 60, 70 or even 80 years old.

Fog of War

Why dont you save us time and tell us exactly what Russia’s plan is, including all the final intended outcomes. Otherwise dont tell us to go and read, We can do that on our own.

Turkish Military Establishes Another Post In Damascus, right next to President Assad’s Office. ISIS is practicing HeadChopping and teaching Sharia Law to Idlib kids of kindergarten age. USA practices its newest IMPACT WARRIOR brand with kicked out of country and overheating armored vehicles, while the crazed Black LiES Matter crowds at home are chanting to the Heroic US Gang Rapist Soldier Thugs in the Middle East: – “Thank You For Your Service! USA! USA! USA!” Also in the news: NOTHING TO CHANGE EVER In Idlib Syria as the entire country was apparently SOLD to TurkStream and various Russian + Chinese Business Interests. Turkey-Iran-Syria to be united under A new name as Pipelineistan & Conglomerate Of Peaceful Russian Interests.

Willing Conscience (The Truths

The Turks were supposed to secure a 6 km wide security zone north of the M4 highway and the Russians were supposed to secure a 6 km wide zone south of the highway, but the Turks are the only ones building checkpoints and OB posts. According to the Russian/Turkish agreement Turks shouldn’t have any infrastructure or personnel south of the highway in the 6 km zone, that’s supposed to be the exclusive Russian secured zone, and yet the Turks are the only one’s building in the Russian zone, even though they’re not meant to, and the Russian’s haven’t built anything at all yet, so what’s going on, what sort of a deal are the Syrian’s getting, not the one they promised that’s for sure. I might be wrong though, maybe the Turks will eventually vacate the new OB posts and checkpoints they’re building south of the highway in the Russian zone, they might just hand them over to their Russian counterparts when the time is right, maybe that’s why Putin’s not making a big song and dance about the slow progress, maybe it’s all just part of a big masterplan, but I doubt it very much.
