Turkish military killed 32 ISIS terrorists in Iraq

A military source said that Turkish forces in northern Iraq killed 32 ISIS terrorists on Tuesday.

Turkish Anadolu Agency website reported citing an anonymous source that a Turkish base used to train Sunni Arab and Kurdish Peshmerga fighters came under attack from anti-tank weapons at the evening.

According to the source, an M-60 tank based at Bashiqa Camp, to the northeast of Mosul, was come under attack. In a response, Turkish forces returned fire towards the building where the firing had been coming from.

The source also said that eight shells destroyed the building, killing 10 terrorists and remaining terrorists were killed as they tried to flee the area by vehicle.

Andolu Angency also said that there were no casualties within the camp  that Turkey reinforced in December and it was the third attack on the camp by ISIS.

Since June 2014, Iraq has been observing ISIS terrorist activities. The US-led coalition started its operations allegedly hitting ISIS, although many believe ISIS is a creation of the west.

However, the 66-member coalition has been failing to control ISIS terrorism, when a concerted push by Iraqi forces are dealing terrorists and forcing it out of the central city of Ramadi, the capital of the western Anbar Province.
