On February 7, a unit of the Russian Military Police entered Turkish-occupied areas in the northern countryside of Syria’s al-Hasakah.
According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, the unit’s officers will hold a meeting with representatives of the Turkish military in Uluk near the border town of Ras al-Ain soon. The subject of the meeting is yet to be known.
Several units of the Russian Military Police were deployed in northeastern Syria in 2019 to observe the ceasefire between Turkish forces and the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).
While in the Turkish-occupied part of northern al-Hasakah, Russian personnel didn’t face any harassment from Turkish-backed militants.
The militants, who issue threats against Russian forces day and night, looked away as Russian troops were moving in the heart of their territory. This led to some criticism by opposition activists.

Recently, Turkish forces stepped up their attacks on the SDF in northeastern Syria, mainly in northern Raqqa. Russian and Turkish officers may be planning to discuss this in their upcoming meeting in Uluk.
The cooperation between Russian and Turkish forces in northeastern Syria is meant to stabilize the region. However, very little progress has been achieved in this regard since the establishment of the ceasefire.
Russia’s still the stongest military power among the “business partners” of the terrorist Ziocorporate globalists. In Putin, Western Zioterrorists and allies have a perfect boogeyman of convenience to remind everyone of their Samson Options, like some recent ex-US military chief saying nuke war is now more likely than ever.
Turkey’s protecting NATO’s ISIS/al-Qaeda investment on the war on Syria, the wouldn’t like Russia to put up some fireworks launching Kalibr missiles in retaliation for an attack on their parade on Turkish/ISlamist occupation areas.

It’s good news that the Syrian government coalition is moving into the border areas without hostilities.
Were they trembling in their boots as well. Are some of the SF journos ex comic book writers, I think they might be. Whenever Russia and Turkey discuss anything at all about Syria it bodes badly for either Assad or the Kurds, and in this particular case probably both.
