Turkish troops and fighters of the Turkish-backed militant groups Jaysh al-Sharqiya clashed at a checkpoint in Suluk, the province of Raqqah.
According to reports, militants opened a fire at Turkish troops, when they were stopped at the checkpoint. One of them were killed by the retaliatory fire. The militants were neutralized.
All the fancy priced Toyota’s used by the terrorist commanders indicate a constant stream of cash to buy them. Crime is big business for them. Why else risk being killed ?
True, it also looks to have bullet proof glass and perhaps armour plating as well. So this is no ordinary vehicle from the local Toyota dealer.
Good observation.
The militants attacked the Turkish troops in the vehicle so the vehicles Turkish owned, the militants were at the checkpoint and stopped them probably to demand a toll fee, but the Turks obviously didn’t want to pay and a fight broke out.
