On April 2nd, a Turkish unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) carried out an airstrike on a small military medical supply convoy returning after dropping its payload south of Bani Walid in Libya.
One Libyan National Army (LNA) soldier was killed, 2 drivers were injured, as well as 1 civilian.
Bani Walid is located 180 kilometers southeast from Tripoli. It is also located 130 kilometers southwest from Misrata, which is a Government of National Accord stronghold.
Turkish UAV activity appears to be increasing in Libya, as on March 30th, a Bayraktar TB2 was downed near Tripoli.
