Covering the alleged advances of the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces in the province of Deir Ezzor, the Turkish state-run media outlet Anadolu Agency has failed to find a proper location of the Omar oil fields.
So, according to Anadolu Agency, the Omar oil fields are located northwest of Deir Ezzor city, on the western bank of the Euphrates.
Meawnwhile, in reality, the fields are located east of Deir Ezzor city. More about the situation in the area HERE

Hahah, how pathetic, they even made their own occupation in Syria look larger then it is, it doesn’t go that far south… This is even worse then, this is more like Rudaw level. That map makes no sense, the colors on it, the only thing right is the location of Raqqa and Tabaqa, the rest is randomly placed.

Does it matter? The US terrorists have proved once again they don’t respect Russia and the Syrian government. Deir Ezzor is not Kurdish territory, and has never been.
And Tillerson is also demanding that Iranian forces withdraw from Iraq. So now it is negotiate or fight, what are Russia and Iran going to negotiate with extremists and terrorists like the US and allies/proxies?

I have a feeling that, Syria is planning a big offensive against the SDF areas but, with a larger group of forces with probably 3 nations joining them. I think Syria is biding it’s time. Once SDF feels settled;they will attack. I wondered why Iran army top brass suddenly visited Syria. They will not give up Raqqah! that is for sure.
They both signed a MoU in agreement to more military cooperation, expect more to be signed between Russia and Iraq also.
