On October 17, the Russian Ministry of Defence reported on the ongoing military developments in Ukraine. The Ukrainian military launched several attempts to break through Russian defences in different regions but failed.
A battalion tactical group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) made an unsuccessful attempt to launch an offensive towards the village of Stryapovka in the Donetsk People’s Republic at Lisichansk direction. Ukrainian forces were repelled back to their positions. Over 50 Ukrainian servicemen, 6 tanks, 2 armoured combat vehicles and 4 pickups were destroyed.
Another failed offensive operation took place on front lines in the Kherson region. Russian troops prevented an attempt made by AFU units to break the defence near the village of Bruskinskoye located 8 kilometres to the south-east of Davidov Brod. Over 100 Ukrainian servicemen, 13 armoured combat vehicles and 8 motor vehicles were destroyed.

The AFU also suffered heavy losses in the Kharkov region. Russian artillery and warplanes shelled military positions of the 14th and 92nd mechanised brigades of the AFU near Sinkovka, Petropavlovsk, Peschanoye, Ivanovka and Berestovoye in the Kupyansk area. During the day, 160 Ukrainian servicemen, 4 armoured combat vehicles, 2 artillery guns, 1 pickup and 2 motor vehicles were destroyed, according to the Russian Ministry of Defence.
39 artillery units at their firing positions, 2 command posts and 127 military positions of the AFU were destroyed by Russian forces near the village of Dvurechnaya in the Kharkov region and Drobyshevo in the DPR. 6 Ukrainian munitions depots were destroyed near Figolevka in the Kharkov region, Verkhnekamenskoye, Soledar in the DPR, Novogrigorovka in the Nikolayev region, Novopetrovka and Davydov Brod in the Kherson region.
In the Nikolaev region, a storage of fuel for AFU military equipment was destroyed near the city of Nikolayev. A spot for military equipment repar works was destroyed near Bereznegovatoye.
Ukrainian losses also included a Ukrainian Smerch MLRS battery and a U.S.-made M777 howitzer battery, as well as 9 UAVs.
Russian air defence forces intercepted 21 projectiles launched by HIMARS and Olkha MLRS as well as 2 U.S.-manufactured HARM anti-radar missiles.

Russia is letting the Ukies blow their load, no doubt from Dec-Feb something big is coming with General Winter and the 300k mobilized, I saw a video yesterday with interviews of some of the guys, they are not all untrained and unmotivated as the west reports, many of them are highly motivated to destroy nazism in ukraine, know their history, love their president, despise the ‘rats’ that fled mobilization as they called them, and have previous experience. Most of the interviewed were 20-35yo also.
CNN reported that Ukrania is running low their Soviet era Weapons and ammunition and NATO is unable to provide them. Looks like the beginning of the end for the Natzies is right around the corner.

Just do not get why all the HIMARS have not yet been destroyed. What is the problem of using drones to track them all down? Camera not good enough? Just do not get it…or Russia is lacking a real good recon model of drone?
Its a big country,although i said months ago all the transport hubs from Poland should heve been destroyed,and Russia should have hit the airports.
There is no doubt that Kiev regime forces are taking heavy losses on and around the front lines.As the winter months drag on those losses will become even heavier my advice to any Ukraine military personnel is to go home to your family’s and don’t allow nato to use you as cannon fodder

If all these losses were true, and count them up, Ukraine wouldn’t have an army right now. Results on the field say otherwise

The Ukrainians have not had an army for months, foreign mercs are being called “Ukrainian Military”, and you know it. Even with these so called “Uki soldiers” joining the battle, they are getting their asses handed to them. So, words to you, Go fight for Ukraine, LIAR.
Nazi banderastan cannon fodder already reach the 75.000 KIA and about 300.000 WIA. Taking into account that every 1 of 5 WIA returned to front, now 1/4 of the ukrowhores are out of game. On that treshold military manuals say the average morale armies begin to drop in morale in an accelerated pace. For the russians the best option now is to stay in strong defenses and increase the west backed cookies till all the leaves are off and all mobilized ones will receive a proper training. Combining this with the coming Admiral Daily Infrastructure Bombing, General Rasputitza and the Marshal Winter, a victorious offensive can begin in early January or maybe early December.

I am French and pro-Russian, against the Anglo-dominated NATO criminal organization, but Southfront is no longer useful for information.
