Two explosions rocked the Turkish-occupied city of Ras al-Ayn in the northern countryside of Syria’s al-Hasakah on December 5.

According to local sources, a booby-trapped vehicle exploded near the al-Jauzah roundabout in Ras al-Ayn’s city center. A few minutes later, an improvised-explosive device (IED) exploded near the town’s municipal building.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reported that the first explosion killed a person and injured several others. The results of the IED explosion have not been revealed, so far.

A day earlier, two people were killed and six others were injured when a booby-trapped car exploded in Ras al-Ayn’s Corniche street.

Turkish-occupied areas in northeast Syria have been targeted by a series of bombings. Ankara claims that Kurdish forces are behind these attacks. However, this accusation is yet to be proven.

Seems that the Turkish border is always blowing up lately. Is this the Turkish idea of a “peace” corridor?

This is the type of ‘peace’ where the protagonists of such an Orwellian strategy are eventually themselves ‘at peace’ in their graves. :)
