Two Explosions Rocked Areas Under Turkish Control In Syria's Aleppo And al-Hasakah

Two explosions blasted areas under Turkish control and the armed groups affiliated with it on August 19th. The first explosion targeted the town of Azaz in northern Aleppo countryside, while the other blew up south of Ras al-Ayn in al-Hasakah countryside.

Local sources have reported that the first explosion had hit al-Qubli district in Azaz with an explosive device planted in a civil car, which resulted in two injuries, a man and his wife were reportedly killed.

The second explosion was carried out with an explosive device planted in in the village of al-Kashkaha in al-Hasakah countryside. It resulted in three casualties and a man received mild injury in addition to material damage caused to many houses in the area.

The two explosions that targeted areas under Turkish control in Aleppo and al-Hasakah countrysides, came when these areas are witnessing a massive Turkish military escalation.

The Turkish military escalation has been continuing during the last months with in villages and towns out of its control especially in Aleppo countryside. Moreover, armed groups sponsored by Turkey have carried out repeated attacks against villages and towns under Syrian Defense Forces’ control in constant attempts to make changes on the map of the northern Syria. However, all these attempts failed without making any remarkable changes.
