Two suicide fighters of ISIS attacked the Egyptian Army 101 Division headquarters east of Arish city in northern Sinai on October 12, according to the ISIS-linked news agency Amaq.
Amaq said the two attackers clashed with the guards of the 101 Division base before blowing up themselves. 14 soldiers of the Egyptian Army including one officer were killed in the attack, according to the media outlet.
Moreover, Amaq reported that another unit of ISIS attacked a checkpoint of the Egyptian Army south of Arish town. The source claimed that ISIS fighters killed or injured several Egyptian Army soldiers.
