The Type 075 landing helicopter dock is a class of Chinese amphibious assault ships. Currently, two warships are under construction by the Hudong–Zhonghua Shipbuilding company.

Looks like US Navy could have a chance for a real competitor.
The construction speed of their first LHD was mind-boggling. Soon we’re going to see the navalised version of the Z-20, a Chinese variant of the UH-60. AFAIK, the problem for the Chinese would be their LCAC.
