U.N. Authorizes Anti-Trafficking Operation in the high sees near Libya

On Friday, October 9, the United Nations Security Council authorized the EU anti-trafficking naval mission in the high sees near Libya. The yearlong operation will focus on seizing and disposing vessels operated by human traffickers.

It’s a start of the second of three phases in a broader EU mission aimed to “stop” the ongoing refugee crisis.

Nonetheless, it will probably head to any success:
