On June 18, the U.S. Africa Command (AFRICOM) released new photos of what it claimed to be “Russian” warplanes deployed in Libya.
The photos show a Su-24 attack aircraft and a Mig-29 fighter aircraft in the al-Jufra Air Base, in central Libya. The base is controlled by the Libyan National Army (LNA). Forces of the UAE, a key regional ally of the U.S, are reportedly present in the base.

The AFRICOM claims that 14 MiG-29s and several Su-24s were flown from Russia to Syria, then to the al-Jufra Air Base in Libya. The U.S. argues that Russia sent warplanes to Libya to provide air support for private military contractors (PMCs) fighting for the LNA.
“Russia’s sustained involvement in Libya increases the violence and delays a political solution,” said U.S. Marine Corps Brig. Gen. Bradford Gering, USAFRICOM director of operations. “Russia continues to push for a strategic foothold on NATO’s southern flank and this is at the expense of innocent Libyan lives.”
Brig. Gen. Gering went on to claim that the “Russian” warplanes in al-Jufra are being flown by “inexperienced, non-state PMC mercenaries.”
The AFRICOM has been leading a media campaign accusing Russia of intervening in Libya for a few weeks. In spite of these claims, not a single “Russian airstrike” has been reported in Libya so far. No solid evidence proving that these warplanes belong to the Russian Aerospace Forces was presented by the AFRICOM.
While the U.S. is panicking over the supposed Russian intervention in Libya, it continues to turn a blind eye to Turkey’s incursion in the country’s war. In the past few months, Ankara deployed loads of weapons and 14,000 Syrian militants in Libya to support the Tripoli-based Government of National Accord.
What about them Turkish warplanes? The USA sticking-up and covering for it’s favorite puppet.

Russians should troll them by drawing on sand with a 100 yards letters ‘white silence is violence’ or other woke slogans.
The Russians are coming!
Do u believe in this BLM crap?
No, my point was that MSM wouldn’t know how to comment this.
oh yeah i get u! its like “Russia, Russia, Russia”! if milk is spilled, “the Russians did it”! lol
US has warplanes all over the globe, so what is the problem with Russian warplanes operating in Libya, it doesn’t mean that they are operated by Russian military which is what the US are implying. US lost the plot!
And so what…. WHAT you nasty Neocons will do about it… ah what….that word AFRICOM sounds to me as Greek Ice cream. Hah.
There shouldn’t be a problem, but the problem is why can’t the Russians have the balls to stand behind their action? Why are they denying that they have military personnel, fighter jets and are involved in the Libyan fight, when it is clear that they are helping the LNA?
Right OK fair Q, then let me ask you why the US backwater bitches mercs, can’t stand behind their actions? Why the US are they denying that they have military personal and drones on ground? Answer me that then I’ll give you the answer you seek!
” USA and Turk`s sustained involvement in Syria increases the violence and delays a political solution.”
Brig. Gen. Gering went on to claim that the “Russian” warplanes in al-Jufra are being flown by “inexperienced, non-state PMC mercenaries.”
Yeah! Not like the Saudi and UAE jets bombing the crap out of Yemen for the last five years. The bankrupt Wahhabi warlords act responsibly and only allow experienced, non-state mercs to fly them. Totally different.
if the amerikans claim this it is a lie… “amerikan parents lie to their children; amerikan children lie to their parents–it’s expected”. Geoffrey Gorer “amerikans have been liars and braggarts for 3 centuries”. Daniel Boorstin “the men amerikans most admire tell them the most extravagant lies; the men they most despise try to tell them the truth”. HL Menkhen “Obama’s job is to lie to a nation of liars”. Kiese Laymon
