The international pressure on the Turkish drone industry appears to be mounting up.
On November 4th, Garmin, the US company known for its GPS technology for automotive, aviation, marine, outdoor, and sport activities. Also said it stopped all deliveries for Turkish drones.
The company released a special corporate responsibility report on the matter:
“It has been brought to Garmin’s attention that one of our products has been incorporated into drones that are being used in Bayraktar UAVs to kill innocent civilians in Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh). We condemn this violence in the strongest terms, and we are heartbroken for the loved ones of those who have been killed. The Garmin product used in these drones is a commercial, non-military product that is widely available for purchase. It is not designed or intended for military use, and it is not even designed or intended for use in drones. We are investigating how our products ended up in these drones, and we will take appropriate action following our investigation to guard against our equipment being used again in this manner. We want to thank all those who brought this to our attention.”
Another US company, California-based Trimble Navigation, a manufacturer of GPS receivers found in Turkish Bayraktar unmanned aerial vehicles, has responded to a wave of protests over the use of these UAVs by the Azerbaijani army in Karabakh.
As ANCA reports on its Facebook page, in response to the protests, the company’s vice president and general counsel Jim Kirkland confirmed in writing that Trimble Navigation “has ceased any further sales to Baykar.”

ANCA is now calling for the next step – to contact Comant, a subsidiary of Iridium Communications, to stop supplying antennas to Turkey.
Earlier it was reported that the Canadian authorities decided to suspend the export of aviation equipment to Turkey after reports from Karabakh.
Canadian company Bombardier cutting off sales for parts for the Bayraktar TB2, as well as L3Harris WESCAM.
L3Harris WESCAM, the Canadian subsidiary of U.S. defense giant L3Harris, is one of the world’s leading producers and exporters of electro-optical/infra-red (EO/IR) imaging and targeting sensor systems — both of which are featured on the Bayraktar drones.
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said that such a decision was made after receiving information that Azerbaijan is using them. It was about the components of the Turkish UAV Bayraktar.
Austria also refused to sell components for Turkish drones.
As such, Turkey may have to quickly reverse engineer some systems on its drones, in order to be able to “insource” the parts it needs for its industry.
It is likely that this happens with support from the Israeli lobby, in addition to this Armenian effort because this increases the Israeli presence on the drone market by removing the competitor

Remember how after Obama lost the senate in 2010 he had to compromise on every bill he tried to pass? The republicans still control the senate and he’s inherited an economy that’s dead but looks alive because it’s been given a $3 Trillion adrenalin shot to the heart.

Well, let me draw your attention to the mountains of challenge waiting for Iran. You probably think Biden will return to the nuclear deal with Iran and just give Iran everything like before. And maybe lift some pressure off the Shiites. But you’re wrong. For one thing, Biden has preconditions which includes dismantling the Iranian militias. This is the most important thing. After the endless rocket attacks by those militias, not even Obama would ignore them anymore, let alone Biden.
Secondly, Biden is more hard-lined than Trump when it comes to Syria. Who are the people supporting Assad? Hezbollah among others. U.S policy in Syria will be more aggressive, and that’s bad news for Iran. The same will happen in Iraq. Expect a surge in troops if Iran does not agree to dismantling the Shiite terrorists infesting the Iraqi society. Biden clearly says that he’s ready however Iran wants to play it. Right now, Iran is in a much weaker position than when it negotiated the nuclear deal in 2015. And Biden isn’t passing up that chance to screw Iran.

So don’t have your hopes too high, cos I’m pretty certain you’ll be disappointed. A good number of analysts believe that Biden is more likely to start a war with Iran than Trump. He chaired the senate committee that approved the war on Iraq. He carefully selected witnesses to testify before American leaders in a way that favors war and sidelined those who harbor doubts about Saddam’s WMD project. He and Obama oversaw the destruction of Libya, Syria, Iraq (they sent US forces back in 2014), Afghanistan (they continued the war they promised to end), and Yemen (Saudi Arabia launched the war with Obama’s approval). Trump only inherited all these wars. He never started new ones. He even tried to pull out of Syria but his generals resisted it. Biden will continue these projects, and Russia will have a much harder time.
so don’t be selfish and think Iran will get off the sanctions hook anytime soon while others suffer. For that to happen, Iran must agree to a lot of America’s demands. If one thing, Trump taught the world how fearful the Iranian regime is of a war with America. He pulled out of the nuclear deal and slapped heavy sanctions on Iran, but Iran dared not to expel IAEA inspectors as it threatened to do before Trump voided the deal. On top of that, he killed Iran’s greatest military leader. Tehran still didn’t have the spine the kill an American general openly and take credit, neither did it muster the guts to eject IAEA inspectors, fearing a U.S strike on its nuclear facilities. Biden and Obama obviously didn’t believe such damage could be done to Iran without a major pushback from Iran. The fact that Iran did not kill any America general, or ejected IAEA puts Tehran in a much weaker position to negotiate.
Biden has campaigned on ‘reestablishing US alliances with allies’. There is a possibility he will seek more rapprochement with Turkey and Germany. Turkey may be reintegrated into F-35 program

The war has stalled and Turkey may have overplayed it hand like Armenia had. Biden will turn the screws on Erdogan.

Turkish drones 100% made in ( not turkey), so is their new engine for the new drone (Akıncı Drone) that they got from Ukraine and their cruise missiles program with Ukraine help as well, these parts that are banned might be replaced with parts from China but who knows .

This is highly unlikely to change anything on the ground throughout the war. The Turks have foreseen a situation like that and have lots of those parts in store to see through the war in NK. By the time Turkey needs more parts, this war would be over the companies will resume sales. They are making a huge profit from selling to Turkey and they’ll continue to sell. In fact, this declaration is most likely hypocritical. They publicly announce to stop selling parts, but secretly continue to do so. How on earth would these companies make profits if there are no wars? When Turkey sells a drone, they buy more parts to create another one and the American companies continue to profit. Besides, just like the author noted: Turkey certainly will replace those parts with locally made ones. They’ve got all the technology to do that. It’ll be a surprise if they haven’t started already. I notice some camera on the Bayraktar appear slightly different than the usual ones from Canada. This could be a Turkish alternative which, while not as clear as their Canadian counterparts, still gets the job done, which is all that matters. And also, there are sources in China for the same kind of product.
This has nothing to do with innocent civilians but with gaining power & resources by the U.S.
