U.S. Forces Closing Some Bases In Iraq Following Rocket Attacks On Camp Taji

FILE – In this Aug. 20, 2017 file photo, U.S. Army soldiers stands next to a guided-missile launcher, a few miles from the frontline, in the village of Abu Ghaddur, east of Tal Afar, Iraq.

The US-led coalition has opted to leave some of its smaller bases in Iraq following the recent series of rocket attacks on its forces. According to the US military, troops will be redeployed to larger facilities, and this will not affect the military mission in the country.

The official explanation claims that the reason is the ‘success’ in the fight against ISIS, but recent casualties from two attacks on Camp Taji seem to be a more realistic version.

“As a result of the success of Iraqi Security Forces in their fight against ISIS, the Coalition is re-positioning troops from a few smaller bases. These bases remain under Iraqi control and we will continue our advising partnership for the permanent defeat of Daesh from other Iraqi military bases,” the US-led coalition said.

“The Coalition remains in Iraq at the invitation of the Government of Iraq to defeat ISIS; since 2014, together, we have liberated more than 55,000 square kilometers and freed millions of Iraqi people from ISIS murderous rule. Our troops are re-positioning in coordination with the Government of Iraq. Due to operational security, we will not announce a specific timetable for the troop movements.”

A new Iraqi armed group, Ausbat al-Thaayirin, already claimed responsibility for the March 11 rocket attack that killed three US-led coalition personnel. The group said that the attacks were delivered in response to the US assassination of Deputy-Commander of the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Units Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis and Commander of the Iranian Quds Force Maj. Gen. Qassam Soleimani. It also vowed to continue military actions against US forces.

Tricky business, vacating some bases but not others. Still looks like a tacit admission: “rockets work”, but I don’t think the people launching them had this consolidation as their end goal. This one will be fun to watch.

Phoron

Yea, its a sign moreso that the US is preparing for a fight that they know is coming, rather than an indication that US occupying forces are on the brink of collapse.

Zionism = EVIL

I don’t want to give too much away, but thinking logically the Americunts are bigger morons if they think that concentrating their forces in large bases from Arbil to Baghdad will somehow make them safer. Infact, the larger bases make easier target as Afghanistan has proven. It will also result in higher Americunt casualties, just see how this unfolds. The whole dumbass strategy is idiocy as 22,000 Americunt and NATO occupation morons in a country of 40 million hostile population simply is not workable. This is not India and the East India Company of 1857, even that spelt the doom of the British Raj.

Ma_Laoshi

Hmm, fair point that Our Benefactors are driven to the big mostly by an instinct they can’t even explain to themselves. Like in so many other respects, Trump is misunderstood as an anomaly, a departure. Instead, he is the apotheosis, the logical outcome of the course the US has been on for a long time already.

Phoron

I seem to recall that the opposite being true, that US casualties in Afghanistan were higher when they deployed units to many far-flung outposts of only tactical importance. A doctrine that the Saudis seem to have followed, at least for quite a while.

I agree that it’s unworkable in the long term though.

verner

bigger camps better chance to hit the warmongering yankee-cunts right between the eyes. better rockets/missiles and we might just see a bloodbath of yankee-cunts hard to explain by the criminally corrupt thieves in pentagon and he white house and most of all by the thieving, lying and killing jews on palestinian land. end the jewish history today, they are of no value whatsoever to any no jew.

occupybacon

Wet dreams, moscal

Ricky Miller

Reality unfolding in front of your face, if you could notice.

occupybacon

bloodbath of yankee-cunts? I think more people died in Iraq from the coronavirus, another wet dreamer bites the dust :)

Ricky Miller

No doubt true, but Trump campaigned on getting us out of wars. I was at a Trump rally and I heard him say it from some 250ft away, straight up “he’s sick of this and we’re getting nothing from it except stressing and breaking up our own wonderful military families, who are deploying to places that many of us have never heard of and to places that we never seem to leave.” Any casualty in these places, including Iraq is a screaming headline reminder that Trump is either a liar or cannot properly supervise or exercise authority over the American security establishment.

Zionism = EVIL

Americunts are loudmouth cowards like Trump and now they have again been humiliated as Iran has complete control over the region.

Ishyrion Av

Meanwhile, Trump discovered he can get a profit from Syrian and Irakian oil, so he changed his mind. That, or he is too weak to empty the swamp.

Zionism = EVIL

As I had posted a week ago, there was no way the Americunt cowards would have taken on Iran in Iraq as they simply did not have the manpower or motivation. The Americunts are spread thin and totally demoralized and now with the caronavirus wreaking havoc in the US, most of the lardass soldiers want to go home. Some were seen crying as they fled in the middle of the night.

Ricky Miller

I don’t believe that. I can’t stand my country’s foreign policy sure, and American forces need to come home but all the American soldiers and sailors and airmen I have encountered over the years are brave, in the macho sense. Not too many are brave in the “these people have limited ability to defend themselves, and are not on our level, and I’m not firing on them” type. I don’t think you are really seriously claiming they went crying into the night while consolidating bases, right? It’s rhetorical, metaphorical?

Zionism = EVIL

Well Americunts have lost every war, and this is the new situation inside the Qaim base and I will post more images as the Iranian media posts them.

Because Rocket-Attacks have Proven to be very effective against American Bases….it seem very…very likely that more Rocket-Attacks on American Bases are soon to follow…Just Piss off out of the Middle East U.S…..saves body-bags

Hey Zionism = EVIL, I just got news of the recent very destructive air-strike that had completely destroyed (or almost completely destroyed) the Imam-Ali base in Abu-Kamal Iran had recently set up.

Any thoughts on this?

Zionism = EVIL

Total bullshit. 6 Iraqis mostly a cook and a night waiter were killed at the Karbala airport by Americunt indiscriminate bombing of a civilian airport under construction.

Icarus Tanović

Miraculously notorious Isis never did something like that… Wonder why…

d'Artagnan

This is a great tactical and strategic victory for both Iranians and their Iraqi allies and should not come as a surprise after the US blundered into the assassination of the soldier’s general Qassem Soleimani. The blatant US disregard for international law and also rupturing the unspoken norms of asymmetrical warfare, changed the rules and Iran responded with very well calibrated missile strikes followed by rolling localized attacks on isolated and undermanned demoralized US bases which had started taking a very deadly toll in casualties at a very low cost to the canny Persians and their allies. The Iranians won by sheer dint of geography and uncanny ability not to blink.

The US is a defeated power thousands of miles from a fraying home and under the current force disposition, it is not in a position to take on a resurgent and emboldened Iran, which is willing to defend its interests and friends. This same successful formula of increased asymmetrical pressure will now be applied in Syria, at a time the US economy and society are being ripped apart by the impact of coronavirus and societal collapse. No wonder the Persians invented chess and polo, one for the brain and the other for the brawn.

Hasbara Hunter

Good way to describe the current situation….:)

Zionism = EVIL

Even the WHO just launching a scathing account of the dumbass evil selfish Americunts, to quote the Director General, ” it is becoming increasingly apparent that the United States which has the highest military spending is woefully unprepared for COVID-19 or any pandemic as its privately managed health care system does not serve the majority of its people, and this will unfortunately result in massive fatalities”.

Ashok Varma

Persians are very patient and methodical people who built the Taj Mahal. US should acknowledge Iranian regional supremacy and go home, no point losing lives and money while America declines.

U.S. leaving these bases seems to be a small victory compared to what recently went down in Abu-Kamal.

The following twitter post shows the complete (or nearly complete) destruction of Imam-Ali base that was just recently constructed.

There is also a need to have a plan expel the plague occupying and N.E Syria. and BTW, If ‘Safir’ means “travel” or “cruise” or ”journey”, then there is some link between Persian and our national language (Swahili)

Zionism = EVIL

Safir is Ambassador and Safr is travel. As you know Farsi words have been incorporated in many languages including Swahili, words like Rafiki or Friend. I can understand almost half of Swahili. Good observation as I told you before you are an intelligent and polite young man with a good head for detail.

Simon Ndiritu

Thanks sir

One of my favorite Farsi singer is Sattar, this is a good song you may be able to pick up a few familiar words.

Thanks. I will listen to it after work

Pork

Arabic not Farsi is where the words, sa’feer ( ambassador ) and sa’fir derive. Persians adopted many Arabic words into their language, Farsi.

Pork

Safir is Arabic.

Trauma2000

Whilst I like what you say, I think you’ve way over extended the ‘Iranian involvement in all this.’ The Iraqi people are incredibly sick of being occupied by America and NATO. They want everyone gone. They wan their country back under their own control. Iran helped organise the ‘reaction’ to the U.$. short of putting the Persian Republican Guard on Iraqi soil, this is almost completely an Iraqi response. Iran and Iraq’s goals and objectives in the Middle East just happen to coincide so they are ‘in defacto’ working together. But Iran’s hand in all these attacks FROM IRAQI soil is very limited.

Edited for posterity. After reading some of the posts further down I believe my comment was hasty. I stand corrected.

roland

USA has been defeated by foreign forces for a while now all western governments have they are under complete control by mostly hidden gangs who are humanities enemy countries like Iran Venezuela and Syria still seem to have independence from these gangs which means there is still some hope for us in the west

beware beware my iraqi Brothers……dont underestimate the wickedness and evilness of satanic zionism…….the 2 reasons why the Zionist slaves from arkansas and Co left some of their ” Forward” bases is … 1, tactical retreat of small Posts that cannot be defended against a Ground assault (has nothing to do with missiel strikes–also the big bases cannt be defended against balistic Missiles and cruise Missiles), because what the slave motherfuckers of the slave Nation USA FEAR the most, are dozens of US Military captives…..that is the Nightmare Szenario for them pricks………..i might add, also for the Zionist satanic Israelis scum of the earth this is the rule in Combat…. —dont let the enemy, hamas,islamic jihad or hezbollah take IDF pricks alive……in the israeli Military Leadership , since 2006, there is the order of “if we cant save them from beeing taken Prisoner, we KILL our own Folks.The israeli scum used this tactics since 2006 in every confrontation.This just Shows the whole world, how truly Evil and satanic These jew motherfuckers are. the second reason for this “tactical retreat”, is also simple to explain……..they are playing “the wolf in the sheep clothing” game…… telling their Folks back home and in the other slave nations(uk,frnace,germany etc..) ” see, we are nice, we dont want war, we even closed down some of our Military Posts, we are there to help..etc… …Controlling the narrative.

NARRATIVE-CONTROL-POWER !!!!!

you fucking Satanic motherfuckers, you can brainwash plenty, but not all Folks. sooner or later, the People of the world will see through your lies and treachery, the People will unite.and we will burn the whole bunch of you satanic jews, and drown your Kids.and that will be the end of this Nightmare that planet earth has had to live with for centuries!

Ronald

Soleimani was a warrior of warriors. Every warrior, in the world, including American, knows the Pentagon made their worst ever mistake, and it can not be undone. This was not some tactical error, like when they bombed Mount Thadra outside of Dier Ezzzor and took out 100 SAA plus a few Russians. Soleimani a hero of three nations, he not only took out ISIS, he inspired one and all. Iraq will kick the US out and so likewise will Syria. If the US take their war into breaking up Turkey, and they could, (plan C Kurdistan) with this Corona the economy would make that difficult to say the least.

Zionism = EVIL

What did I tell you kiddies a few days ago, the Americunts besides being cowardly child killing arseholes, have now united all the resistance forces in the region and had no choice but to cut and run in the middle of the night and leave behind even heavy weaponry. The Sepah and allied militias have put posters of Ayatollah Khamenei and Sayyed Nasrallah all over the liberated bases. The most important news is that IRGC and Hezbollah have total control over the Qaim crossing into Syria and are deploying air defences. As I said before, the new IRGC leadership is far more tougher and ruthless than the mild soldier diplomat General Soleimani.

Iraq military bases: US pulling out of three key sites in the middle of the night

The decision to leave three of its eight bases in Iraq is a sign the US is looking to dramatically reduce its footprint in the country and avoid rising casuatlies at the hands of emboldened Shia militias who have not hesitated to take on the US and NATO forces in Iraq..

It comes amid heightened US tensions with the Iraqi government and Iran, who are united in expelling US and NATO occupation forces from the region.

At the large al-Qaim base. where the US has hastily handed over equipment to the Iraqi army to help it ensure security in the area. However, the Iraqi army is made up of Shia PMU units and the US and NATO equipment including armor and artillery will end up in Kataeb Hezbollah hands.

It will end any US presence along the Iraqi side of the border with Syria and in complete of Iranian allied forces who have started putting up posters of General Soleimani and Iranian and Hezbollah leaders all over the Baghdad to Damascus highway. Outside the sprawling base, roads were plastered with PMF flags and billboards picturing Iran’s supreme leader, a man some PMF groups think of as their religious leader and commander.

US barbarians get the F***K out of Iraq!!

occupybacon

When the Russian barbarians get out of Ukraine, Georgia and Moldova?

Ricky Miller

Well if you are referring to Crimea then…never. It’s part of the Russian Federation now and isn’t going back, ever. That goose got cooked when the United States helped overthrow the legally elected Ukrainian government, one that was elected with overwhelming support by the Russian majority in Crimea. Part of the autonomy agreement between Ukraine and Crimea was full democratic protections for political involvement and the coup violated that agreement. In Moldova the Russians are there by agreement and UN resolution, just like they were in Georgia when Georgian forces, fired up by some American military advisors, decided to attack the South Ossetians and Russian units deployed as coolers in the region by international agreement. The fact that the Abkhaz and the Ossetians want no part of being inside Georgia is an established centuries old fact that presented not just the Russian Federation with a problem in the 1990’s and 2008 but also during the USSR and Czarist eras as well.

AM Hants

Nicely said.

occupybacon

This big chunk of land is changing names and its borders are pretty fluid, don’t you think?

BMWA1

No Abkhazia was always that and was main regional republic pre-Stalin who set Georgia’s borders.

occupybacon

Why are moscals going for small countries instead taking back big Alaska lel

Ricky Miller

Alaska was paid for. The Russians went farther than Alaska, btw. While driving down the coast of California one year I encountered a historical sign marking the site of a Russian settlement and church. The small countries to who you refer are where people have rebelled against the new order thrust upon them by the end of the Cold War. Crimea rebelled against Ukrainian rule multiple times and South Ossetia and Abkhazia are actually independent, although I admit they are economically integrated into the Russian Federation and reliant on Russia for military support. Russia went where her responsibilities and opportunities opened doors. I doubt there is any ethnic Russian community in Alaska large enough to rebel against American rule, or any indigenous community begging for Russia to back their rebellion.

BMWA1

Abkhazia and South Ossetia are also regions needed for counter-terror, a frind in the Russian VDV (a she, they do active combat in that army) got a service medal (it hangs on a light blue ribbon, I do not know the precise name for teh award) for this work in the VDV back in 2016…so I assume this is ongoing.

Ricky Miller

You are lucky to have such a friend. I play chess with retired American servicemen at the Dayton VA, and I like them and get information from some still clued into the enlisted men’s network but I respect Russia way more, her soldiers and her foreign policy. I wish I could play afternoon chess with some of those guys.

BMWA1

Well, my first girlfriend used to wear the white and blue striped paratrooper T-shirt to be patriotic, but this one, I found out, was actually in the VDV, she is usually stationed in Tula with Ktusov Division, there is a company also of women paratroopers there. Sort of the modern version of the “Night Witches”.

occupybacon

Now it’s time for rebellion in moscow against the 90+ billionaires and their small muppet

Ricky Miller

So far the Russian electorate doesn’t agree. The billionaires have already enjoyed something of a reckoning. The Kremlin has taken modest steps at compelling some social responsibility from them, although I agree that more is needed. Most political polling and studies of the Russian electorate indicate that the person to whom you refer as a muppet is beloved in Russia and can again win a presidential poll in 2024, handily. Where Russia and the oligarchs go after Mr. Putin is a dramatic question, and one in which a revitalized electorate will have their say. I think that Mr. Putin runs again in 2024 but hands off power by 2026 to some designated successor chosen to promote both stability, and to hold off challenges from both Western sellouts and hard core nationalists, all at the same time. Whether the center can hold or not depends on the state of the world in the mid to late 2020’s, and the evolution of behavior among other state actors on the world stage.

roland

Who knows what the Eskimos think they choose to live in ice and snow so it’s a fair call to say they obviously have different priorities to us and probably think in a completely different way to us having said that hiding out in an igloo in the middle of nowhere seems like a damn good idea at the moment

Ricky Miller

Yes, but the Inuit, as they call themselves, only have igloos for show anymore. They seem to live all over the Arctic region in some kind of brown wall trailers that often look like drywall or wood plank shelters. Have you seen some recent videos of these communities? There are pick up trucks and satellite dishes and even hot tubs. I’d say they are well on the road to a half sort of assimilation.

BMWA1

Russia had to pay reparations for Crimean War loss and negotiated with Americans in secret in Petersburg so the British did not get Alaska (remember who is in Yukon)….that and America had the cash. But geopolitically, Russia was US friendly at that time (See also Russian support of US Navy in Civil War, use of United States naval yards for building Russian Navy [Varyag, for example, built in Philadelphia])….this is a product of that very different time. In 19th Century, from about 1840s onward, Britain was major foe…see also British support for Turkey in the Bulgarian Independence war in 1870s…..etc….etc.

occupybacon

Now they will sell Kaliningrad back to Germany so the Yankees don’t get it and Siberia to China

BMWA1

No, I think Kaliningrad Military district (I am familiar with the Polish side from work in Masurian lakes) is a heavily armed position. Strategically, ALL forces based in Poland for example are within range of a very dense array of medium range missiles…in military terms, it is a valuable forward position in the north….Crimea plays very similar role in south, also forward ports in both cases, I think in Kaliningrad Oblast…these are in the gulf west of old Koenigsberg. No deal.

occupybacon

How about 90 billion dollars?

Ricky Miller

No way. They’ll defend Kaliningrad to the hilt, that’s a debt they feel they owe to their own greatest generation. Siberia won’t be sold but no doubt resources will be leased to China, including Arctic resources. Russia is not starving for cash, but if they needed to sell something territorial it would be several Kuril islands to Japan for a vast sum of cash, probably in gold and way, way more than the U.S. paid for the vast state of Alaska.

occupybacon

Every negotiation needs a start point

BMWA1

Actually, next to teh village where I have worked in Ukraine, st Oksanina, they still maintain the Museum to Chernjachovsky who led the drive to East Prussia, our work is across Obalst boundary at Nebelivka in Kirovograd…Lt. there died in same drive, got the Hero of Soviet Union award, there is a bust of him at the village war monument…about 200 (!!!!) dead from ONE village.

Wayne Nicholson

Crimea, The Donbass, South Ossetia and Moldova all have large Russian majorities that want closer ties with Russia and support Russian intervention. Alaska does not.

So why do you believe that Russia would want to invade a place like Alaska that would have to forcibly invaded and then policed against insurgency? Unless you own a magic printing press and have the support and financing of the local oil barons, an unquestioning uneducated populace and a media that towed the government line that would be suicide.

occupybacon

Ok, how about Estonia? it’s small and has Russian population.

Wayne Nicholson

Who are relatively happy, weren’t shelled by Georgians and didn’t have their elected president deposed by UkroNazi’s.

You’re obviously a smart guy, war is serious and risky business …. you don’t go into a war or invade countries unless there is a very compelling reason to do so. What’s the upside of Russia invading Estonia or Alaska? Are they strategically important to the Russian state? Are there Russians at risk? Are there thousands of Russian jihadists occupying the country that they don’t want returning?

occupybacon

And the grapes were sour anyway, said the fox

Wayne Nicholson

So that’s your argument? Your analysis of Russia’s strategy for global domination is based on Aseops fables? Why not add a bible quote and some ‘thoughts and prayers’ for “Putins victims’ just to complete the picture?

occupybacon

Why should anyone with half of a brain to argue with a nut that brings ‘UkroNazi’ argument?

Wayne Nicholson

Because that’s what happened. That coup deposed an elected leader and not only did they need neo nazi paramilitaries as security during the coup the same neo nazi groups got seats in the cabinet as part of the power sharing agreement. Even today their current leader can’t fufill his election promise of closer ties with Russia because the neo nazi’s hold the balance of power in the Ukraine.

occupybacon

Those ‘neonazi’ you are talking about are sponsored by a jew from what I remember

Wayne Nicholson

Politics make strange bedfellows … the enemy of my enemy is my friend …. etc

occupybacon

The Nazi are blamed cuz they killed the Jews, but because they attacked Stalin -not so much

Wayne Nicholson

I really couldn’t give 2 fucks about the jews or Stalin. All you gotta know is that Svoboda is a far right party running on an extreme nationalist platform and they were given seats in Porky’s cabinet including the deputy prime minister. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Svoboda_(political_party)#In_government

Spend some time on their page, get to know them, look at the maps of where they are supported and maybe you’ll figure out why the Donbas revolted and Crimea wants to be Russian.

occupybacon

Donbas and Crimea didn’t just revolted, they got occupied by Russian units, some of them dressed in green some of them in other kind of clothes to let the Kremlin goblin say that farmers and miners take down military aircraft. In USA if you have a rifle you are called far right by the twitter fat feminists so I really couldn’t give 1 fuck either for you calling them far right.

Wayne Nicholson

Like rape you can’t occupy the willing.

Got any evidence of resistance against the Russians?

Any Crimeans calling for Russians to get out?

Got names of any Crimean ‘freedom fighters’ arrested by the evil Russians?

CIA running ratlines to the Crimean rebels?

What you like to call occupation they call liberation.

occupybacon

I dn’t have any names of North Koreans freedom fighters either, that place must be heaven

Wayne Nicholson

I’ve lost you.

Are you trying to say Russia is occupying North Korea or are you attempting to link the USSR’s support of North Korea 70 years ago with modern Russia?

Ricky Miller

Well, it’s Russia. Jefferson Airplane became Jefferson Starship and then just Starship. But the music stayed the same as did a majority of the band. Czarist Russia transitioned into the USSR by way of the Bolshevik revolution and then seven decades later it reverted back to Russia, minus the Czar and thanks to Boris Yeltsin minus an entire layer of Imperial peripheral territories, many with large ethnic Russian communities. The lands to the South in Central Asia and the Far East don’t seem to have any border issues with the current incarnation, the Russian Federation. It’s just along the NATO lands that Russia has a problem with border changes, that being the direction that Russia was invaded from, regardless of name, by the Swedes, the Poles, the Lithuanians, the Kaiser and Marshal Hindenburg, Napoleon, Hitler and then the permanent NATO threat. Overthrowing governments friendly to Russia might now and again produce some border changes, yes. And the failure of the Western capitalism system in it’s neoliberal guise might lead to another name change inside Russia eventually-the Russian Socialist Federation. But it will still be Russia. And someday many of those peripheral territories might beg to be let back in, with the demographic and climate hell Europe is headed for they’ll be begging for Russia to share water and food and other resources, and to save them from the once European Union utopia.

occupybacon

And after all European nations will beg Russians to let them in, it will be re-named Eurasia with capital in Prague, right?

Ricky Miller

No. It’ll look something like the old Warsaw Pact, with HQ in Moscow and Czech work crews busy working around the clock clearing the forest floors around the Moscow ring road of all combustible material.

occupybacon

After they burned the poles and other indesirables in that forest

Mark Paul

Thank you Ricky.

d'Artagnan

They really have no choice, they lost the Iraq war in 2004, when the insurgency started. Now the US and NATO are hemorrhaging men and money at a time their own countries are falling apart.

<>

Hey LR, I’m not sure we targeted it, the airstrike was against a chemical facility near Homs atleast according to IDF claims. Operationally speaking, any place in Syria can be targeted by the IAF, However if we did it now it would complicate things with Russia as they need Iran for the offensive. If you ask me? sure we need to bomb any IRGC target we can find in Syria, but Bibi and Putin have other plans for us. Gantz got the mandate today to form a government, things are gonna change here pretty soon.

Ricky Miller

But he doesn’t have a majority, not by my count. And no way Gantz seeks some kind of conflict with Russia inside Syria. The agreement is that Russia won’t allow the Syrians to use the S-300 missile system against Israeli aircraft or move it south to defend Damascus as long as Israeli aircraft do not fly into Syrian airspace. Gantz, I promise you, will want no part of a revision of that agreement. It allows Israel to work on her objectives without the embarrassment of losing aircraft.

<>

Well I can not confirm or deny what you wrote, I only know what was written here in the media. Nonetheless, attacking that base now could affect Israel-Russia relations, they already have an open conflict with Turkey. On a personal view, I think Russia failed to secure our interests in Syria and Iran is doing whatever they want there, especially building more forces with Hezbollah for any potential coming conflict against us. Gantz is a great strategist and he planned and executed IDF operations in Gaza, I trust him to handle Iran in Syria too better than Bibi.

<>

Well we have some of the best EW systems in the world, I’m not worried about their drones. It’s their precision missiles which are aimed at our civilians the biggest threat, and they should know that if Israelis will be hit with missiles – then so would Lebanese, just alot worse.

Maybe it’s a question also of money.

colin adese

Yes those ungrateful moderate terrorists are demanding a pay rise.

BMWA1

Like your jocosity but I was thinking of the costs of maintaining so many bases….its like the German situation on the Russian Front with the Pentagon in Near East, over-extension everywhere. US financial situation also not so hot, sort of like General Model at Kursk in July 1943.

Phoron

Didnt they just print 1.5 trillion worth of fiat currency last night?

Zionism = EVIL

Iraq war has cost the deadbeat Americunt cowards over $9 TRILLION and the cost are rising in both casualties and material losses. They have just ran from the 3 major bases leaving behind over $2 billion worth of equipment which in now in Hezbollah and Shia militia hands.

d'Artagnan

The GOA accounting office has calculated the on-going costs of the lost Afghanistan, Iraq and Syrian war to be in excess of $13 trillion and rising at a time US economy is imploding. Soon the US will have to deploy troops at home to maintain law and order is a violent gun-toting society that is fraying at the edges due to the spreading COVID 19. Getting is troops killed in lost wars is just a further sign of US insanity.

Zionism = EVIL

The morons spend over $2 trillion a year in the loser military, wars and Jew created police state while the vast majority of the trailer trash brainwashed freaks don’t even have basic health coverage and most will die and they are left on their own, especially the poor, minorities and old people as the Jew fucks will only save themselves as usual..

Ricky Miller

$700 billion, but who’s counting?

Zionism = EVIL

As I said, the Americunts are cowards and totally demoralized, the PMU has inflicted very casualties on the lardass scum and they had no choice but to run. Stay tuned and see what happens in Syria too.

Zionism = EVIL

Latest battle order of Shia militias chasing the Americunts out of the region.

It’s like being asked to leave a party or venue and you further embarrass/belittle yourself/others by refusing to go. Genocide is in the makeup of the US DNA, from the minute OUTSIDERS stepped into it; albeit THEY refer to America as being Founded. lol

It is like taking on NK. Iran has ICBMs that can cover the US continent, not to mention some of the finest IRBMs and cruise missiles. Iran has about 55 subs and anti ship and anti missile defense systems. Iran has an ability to annihilate US ships in persian gulf and beyond.

Assad must stay

the US military itself is the biggest threat to itself by keeping them in a country nobody wants them there lmao

cechas vodobenikov

apparently Gantz will lead Israel—his incompetence in campaigns against Hamas and Hizbollah were widely criticized in Israel–the future will reveal whether he learned from his mistakes

Geez! They are still there to defeat ISIS!!! It don’t wash anymore! US was never there to defeat ISIS. ISIS is nowhere to be seen, except possibly launching attacks from the at-Tanf area to surrounding desert areas. US is there to keep Iraq under US control in every way. Iraqis don’t need US troops there. Kataib Hezbollah, Iraqi regular Army and others would do better if US was not there. Israel prefer ISIS, they said so. So just leave already.
