On May 28, the U.S.-led coalition and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) carried out another landing operation in the southeastern Deir Ezzor countryside.

Special forces of the U.S.-led coalition and the SDF landed by helicopters in the town of Jadeed Ekedat in the morning. According to the SDF’s Coordination and Military Operations Center, several ISIS members were apprehended during the operation.

“An airdrop operation conducted by our forces accompanied with the International Coalition in the town of Jadeed Ekedat east of Deir Ezzor resulted in the arrest of a number of ISIS sleeper cells members, equipment and weapons were seized in the location,” the center said in a short press release.

The coalition is yet to share any information about Jadeed Ekedat operation. Usually, such landing operations target high-ranking ISIS commanders.

Earlier this month, two senior ISIS commanders, identified as Ahmad ‘Isa Ismail al-Zawi and Ahmad ‘Abd Muhammad Hasan al-Jughayfi, were eliminated in a joint operation by the U.S.-led coalition and the SDF.

The coalition’s recent operations dealt a serious blow to ISIS cells in southeastern Deir Ezzor. Nevertheless, the group is still present and active in the region.

Willing Conscience (The Truths

This is exactly what Iran has to do in southern Deir ez Zor, oh hang on they can’t, Iran doesn’t have any aircraft/choppers in Deir ez Zor, so maybe they should be asking Russia for some help in that department.

I think Syria may be getting some extra help from Russia though, A Russian cargo ship has just been spotted heading to Syria with a full cargo hold full of replacement vehicles, supposedly to replace all the stuff Turkey destroyed just a while back, and there are also other reports that claim Russia’s just flown a heap of Russian fighter jets to Syria and then immediately repainted them with no insignia’s at all, is that so Syrian insignia can be painted on them or is it to hide their identity, the mystery is developing. The Russians have denied being responsible for the death of the Turkish serviceman on the M4 highway 2 days ago, and yet a video clearly shows an airstrike against an ammo dump that resulted in debri hitting at least one and possibly more Turkish military vehicles, so who was responsible for that airstrike if it wasn’t Russia, it possibly could’ve been Turkey but I doubt it.
