U.S.-led Coalition Warplanes Hit ISIS Hideouts In Kirkuk At Iraq Request (Video)

On September 9, the U.S.-led coalition announced that its warplanes had carried out a number of airstrikes on ISIS hideouts in the northern Iraqi province of Kirkuk.

The coalition announced on Twitter that the airstrikes, which took place a day earlier, were carried out at the request of Iraq’s Joint Operations Command.

Maj. Gen. Yehia Rasool, a spokesman for the Iraqi Commander-in-Chief, released footage of the coalition’s airstrikes in Kirkuk.

Last week, F-16 warplanes of the Iraqi Air Force (IQAF) have carried out airstrikes on caves used by ISIS terrorists in Hamrin Mountains in the country’s northern region.

ISIS terrorists maintain a strong presence in western and northern parts of Iraq. The terrorist group is less active in the eastern areas, along the border with Iran and in the South, mostly populated by Shiites.

The IQAF and the U.S.-led coalition’s air force have been heavily involved in anti-ISIS operations in the past few months. The terrorist group sustained serious losses in Iraqi and coalition airstrikes.

I have a theory that the headaches were caused by the fact that soldiers waited too long for the trikes so this torture should be counted as a war crime and this diabolic practice should not be used even against ISIS.

Fog of War

I have a strong feeling these aren’t ISIS hideouts but hideouts of anti-American groups.
