On February 15, the United States Central Command (CENTCOM) identified a senior official of ISIS who was killed in a recent joint operation with the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in Syria’s eastern region.
On Twitter, the command said that Ibrahim al-Qahtani was killed in the February 10 operation, which reportedly took place near the town of Abu al-Naitl in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.
“We can confirm Ibrahim Al Qahtani, an ISIS official associated with planning ISIS detention center attacks, was killed in the raid,” CENTCOM said.
Several helicopters of the U.S.-led coalition and the SDF’s special forces, known as the YAT, took part in the joint operation which lasted for several hours and ended with the killing of al-Qahtani, who was reportedly an Iraqi national, and one of his Syrian guards.
CENTCOM said that multiple weapons, ammunition, and a suicide belt were seized from al-Qahtani hideout during the joint operation.
The command’s remarks indicate that al-Qahtani was involved in the 2022 ISIS attack on al-Hsakah city prison. The large-scale attack, which was meant to free thousands of the terrorist group’s members, claimed the lives of more than 300 people.
According to CENTCOM, some 10,000 members of ISIS are currently held in prisons run by the SDF in northern and eastern Syria. ISIS will likely make more attempts to free these terrorists in the near future. The security measures of the coalition and the SDF are not good enough to stop the group.

These are more like messages from the HR Department than anything else. This probably just means someone got promoted and/or retired to Florida.
The USA-Zionists must remove those who know too much.
