U.S. Officials Deny Deploying More Troops In Northeastern Syria

The U.S. will not deploy any additional troops in northeastern Syria, despite the recent “peace corridor” agreement with Turkey, a top U.S. general stated, according to the CNN.

According to the news channel, the new missions that would result from the agreement with Turkey will be carried out by U.S. troops already in the country.

“We’re not going to increase our footprint on the ground to conduct these patrols because as we see it right now, this is directly linked to our defeat Daesh [ISIS] mission,” Brig. Gen. Scott Naumann, the director of operations for the U.S.-led coalition told reporters on a conference call on September 19.

Naumann went on to reveal that around 1,000 U.S. service members are currently deployed in Syria to “defeat Daesh and security mechanism zone missions.”

The “peace corridor” agreement, which was reached last month, is supposed to address Ankara’s security concerns in northeastern Syria, where the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) is in control.

Last week, the New York Times reported that the Pentagon will deploy 150 additional troops in northeastern Syria in order to facilitate the agreement. However, this information was apparently inaccurate.

Zionism = EVIL

These arseholes are not going to leave Syria or the region unless a lot of body bags come home to the filthy streets of America.

What all your posts have in common is a call for war and death. Why don’t you go and fight all the bad guys ? It won’t happen because you expect others to die in order to fulfill your morbid obsessions.

And the last Syrian citizen and the last Syrian soldier and the last Russian soldier, etc.

Correct me if im wrong, but it seems to me you generalise every US citizen as a warcriminal and guilty of every suffering and war in the world. There are millions upon millions of US, Israeli and western citizens that are against their government, against the numerous illegal wars they started, against Israeli occupation of Golan and their sick trreatment of “subhumans” and against who and how the world is run.

Some of the homeless persons and veterans you blame have been deceited themselves, is bearing the burden of having trusted their government once, is suffering every single hour of every single day because of a mistake they have made back then.

And then someone like you comes around and start kicking and pissing on them.

Instead of kicking them, be glad that they have turned around, that they have turned their back on the government that put them there, that they make the world see the backside of the medal, embrace them and help them in every way you can, thats how you make friends and allies, not by making them feel less and expendable, we have governments to do that.

There are so many western citizens and veterans here on SF, that support the majority of what you are saying, so relax on the spitting, kicking and pissing.

Dont blame someone before you know their story.

The 1000 US trucks and low-beds we sent to NE Syria were loaded with limited sand resources to fit NE Syrias CO2 quote to help Green Global Clima Change.

Dont worry , Lafarge Holcim ‘ cement plant at ain issa probably burned 1 tonne of fuel while you were typing your comment.

Possible if not for the fact that it is now a US base. One of the at least a dozen in Rojava.

Concrete Mike

You have no idea what your talking about do you?

#1 im talking aboutna cement plant not a ready mix plant, cement plants are huge properties, with the plant, quarries crushers storage sheds, they are huge peices of land. Especially since its a new plant, there is ample room for army types to set up a little base

#2 its not a US base, its a french base, you should know this, as its always been a french base from start of the conflict.

#3 there is no such thing as rojava. Legally there is a territory called syria, a member of the UN. Rokava doesnt exist.

#4 the american occupiers will be evictee from syria without a shot fired. You watch.

goingbrokes

So now the US nomenclature has gone from ISIL (Obama) to ISIS, to Daesh. This is all to confuse the public who might still think that US is there to fight the islamic extremists.
