Following the storming of the Capitol building in Washington, DC, US President Donald Trump was banned from Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.
Twitter even went so far as to mute the official @POTUS Twitter account, while Trump is still in office.
This censorship is so extreme, that even Russian neo-liberal opposition in confusion. While the most of opinions showcased claim that any censorship ‘in the name of democracy’ is allowed and it is fine to cancel Trump and his supporters, at least some voices have noticed that the situation is not so simple. MSM-promoted Russian opposition figure Alexey Navalny even twitted that Trump should not be censored. At the same time, the Western-funded Russian opposition still have find no courage to question the result of the US presidential election itself despite multiple evidence of vouter fraud because this may lead to the losing of funding from Washington. So, now supporters of the Russian opposition know that the election rigging ‘in the name of democracy’ is allowed.

Of course, Navalny tied it to himself and the situation in Russia, which is still showing – he claims that Russia heavily censors him and he is the “arch-enemy of evil overlord Vladimir Putin” and now, the United States does the same to Trump? According to Navalny, such a precedent would be exploited by the enemies of freedom of speech around the world and that whenever someone needed someone silenced, they would say “‘this is just common practice, even Trump got blocked on Twitter.’”
Navalny’s criticism is also interesting, since Trump has been accused of allegedly being an ally of Vladimir Putin more than once.
Regardless, among praises of Trump’s ban on MSM, in addition to various pieces condemning his supporters as domestic terrorists, there’s another notable development.
The U.S. Agency for Global Media CEO Michael Pack was accused of funneling more than $4 million to his private documentary company through a not-for-profit that he also controls.
He was appointed by Trump, and he was just discovered to be quite corrupt, when Trump is exiting office and it is likely time for a new state-funded propaganda.
According to an NPR report, five recent chiefs of Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty – appointed under Democratic and Republican administrations – jointly warned President-elect Joe Biden that Pack poses “a long-term threat to the credibility and professionalism of the five networks” he oversees.
US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo is to appear on VOA on January 11th, and whistleblowers used the chance to accuse Pack, since there’s only 9 days for Trump in office, and likely Pompeo is following close.
Pack will be replaced promptly as well. He reportedly attempted to extend his time in his executive seat by cooperating with “conservative allies” that will steer Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty, Radio Free Asia, and the Middle East Broadcasting Networks. The not-for-profit broadcasters are all funded by the federal government through USAGM.
Those networks, along with VOA and the Office of Cuba Broadcasting, collectively reach more than 350 million people across the world each week.
“They historically have demonstrated American pluralism by providing balanced coverage of news events and robust political debate, regardless of how it reflects on current government officials. The broadcasters are also intended to serve the citizens of nations which do not allow journalists to operate freely.”
Turns out they were just lining somebody’s pockets and now a new propaganda engine is needed, which is also not conservative.
Pack did the same with three other non-profit networks funded by USAGM and made himself board chairman over Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty; Radio Free Asia; and the Middle East Broadcasting Networks.
He sought to force the networks to sign binding contracts ensuring that the boards could not be removed for two full years for any cause, and that board members could only be removed “for cause” subsequently, even though Biden aides have made clear he intends to replace Pack promptly.
As a result of Pack’s alleged misdeeds, the whistleblowers sent a joint letter. It was signed by former Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty presidents Tom Dine, Jamie Fly, Jeffrey Gedmin, Tom Kent, and Kevin Klose. Fly was fired by Pack along with the heads of other networks last summer.
They cited what they called Pack’s proposed “radical changes in the governance” of the networks. “Credibility with audiences takes years to build and can be destroyed in days,” they wrote. “Mr. Pack’s personnel and policy actions have sought to impose ideological coloration on programming and tight governmental and political control that risk destroying the credibility and effectiveness of al US international broadcasting.”
As such, the censorship is, simply, in its very early, onset stage.

Not agreeing with Trumps assertion of a stolen election is no cause for calling his tweets “unacceptable”. He used no foul or abusive language, nor racial, ethnic or sectarian language. What is there to be called abusive beyond those terms? The simple fact that 60 judges denied his case, tells you something is wrong. No judge ever heard a shred of evidence. The cases were thrown out for procedural reasons, no evidence was allowed to be presented therefore.
Navalny’s tweets are allowed freely, yet he offers no evidence at all, but is allowed to insult, defame, slander anyone he likes, once they’re Russian.

I watched a video tonight, my wife showed it to me. The police set up a checkpoint off a motorway, to check for C19 “clearance/permission to move’. It was near the IrishN Ireland border. There was a load of cars queuing up, but the people got out of their cars and demanded the cops clear the road. Dozens of people were jeering them, one pulled out a copy of the Irish police oath, and reminded them of their oath not to be a member of any political party or secret society, and to protect the constitution of Ireland which guarantees free movement without hindrance. It was heart warming to see the abuse they gave to them. The cops eventually removed their vehicles and closed the checkpoint. FANTASTIC, LOL.

I paid out 150 euro last night to visit an ophthalmologist, my good eye is stiff and sore. The other eye has a corneal transplant, tubular implant, and many other surgeries due to medical negligence carried out in a hospital close to me. I got drops for a dry eye, something I’ve never experienced before in the good eye, and its not working. I phoned A&E, no one answered, so phoned the central office, they put me through. I was told no services, make an appt. Then I told her that I had already successfully sued them for the damage, so they told me to come up, and they will call the house doctor. This is a major hospital, biggest for a 100 miles. So now I’m sitting here stewing at the thought of going to a hospital to get a junior doctor to look at the eye, I am the only person on the planet to have had 2 glaucoma surgical operations, followed by a transplant. Moorfields saved my eye, and the doctor who did that was the only one qualified in the whole of Southern England to do such an operation, very complex. Obviously, I can’t travel without a test, which would freak me out. I have an exemption from wearing a mask, cannot stand being touched on my face, so sick to death is an understatement. I’ll wait another while, I’m liable to explode with their attitude to me. The negligence happened in 2003, 2009 before they admitted, and they hate me for it still. Nothing like this has happened to my good eye before, so what a time for it to kick off now!
My father had glaucoma, so I can sympathise somewhat with your problem and the stress of it.
The management of the NHS has for too long been an unwieldy group of mainly jobsworths and the last year has bought home to all people that the management classes have failed the British people, with some exceptions of course. Most of the management classes have ‘hidden in basements’, and the government management class have largely hidden on full pay. Did I mention DVLA :)
All too many GP’s have been too frightened to speak face to face and many have used the crisis as an excuse to say, ‘Call 911’.
I suspect that all of the so called ‘ excess deaths’ have been caused by an almost complete lack of care for hundreds of thousands of people who would normally be populating the NHS wards for a plethora of treatable ailments, or would have been being treated as day patients.
These people now languish at home and in pain , as the mother of a friend of mine did until she had a stroke,spent a few days in hospital and then was declared a Covid Related Death. The word ‘ related ‘in this context is a much abused word these days.
Pen pushing procedures for treatment are now responsible for medical procedures being delayed that in many cases cease to be an issue as the patient has died.
As for your worrying predicament, keep calm as much as possible, use the soft white back lighting when using a PC and rest your eyes as directed. I hope all goes positively for you. The majority of the NHS medical staff have been frightened into submission by the continual government medical propaganda, and I sometimes wonder if the disfunction of the NHS is a ploy to get the populace to demand better service, and that would mean ‘ privatisation’ of what is now described in the media as OUR NHS and as a cuddly version of THE NHS.

A bit calmer, still a bit sore, as I said, first time ever to happen to that eye. I was planning to go back to Moorfields after Christmas, its a private wing, cost a lot of bucks to get so far, but these travel bans have messed that up, and that’s freaking me out. There is no help here, apart from getting drops from one doctor, who has helped me out a few times since all this began. I’ve been told by the doctors in London, to get out of here, since back in 2013, but, young family and home ties keep me here. Cheers again for the good thoughts, stay safe.

The President is not a citizen when communicating as the Chief Executive. Clinton was President in the Oval Office but was considered a citizen in relation to Lewinsky while physically present in the oval office. Trump is not a private citizen when tweeting as President and his words matter.

had there been evidence it would have been outlined in the applications to the various courts and the courts should then pass it on to the answering party. a court can’t naturally not just pass it on it will have to establish that the matter falls within the legal frame-work or jurisdiction of the court and when it doesn’t it’s turned away. the fact that 60 courts rejected the various applications would indicate that the applicant was way off on jurisdiction and the fact that it was 60 or so courts that rejected trumps contentions indicate clearly that there was no collusion between the democrats and the judicial system since the mere number tells you that a plot could never be kept a secret with so many different courts involved. it’s a corollary.
twitter had warned trump over and over again and when he failed to abide by the rules he was cut off. and no one should be sorry for that.
The Courts dismissed the lawsuits without a glance into their content.
and now more than 2 months later, not a shred of evidence has seen the light of day, much talked about but never shown. dream on on that dead end road to nowhere!
