U.S. Ready For More Missile Strikes On Syria. MSM Says Russia Involved In Attempt To Cover Up Usage Of Chemical Weapons

Sean Spicer.getty

The US does not rule out the possibility to conduct new missile strikes on Syria, White House spokesman Sean Spicer has said at a news conference on Monday.

“The sight of people being gassed and blown away by barrel bombs ensures that if we see this kind of action again, we hold open the possibility of future action,” Spicer stated, adding that “Not just Syria, but the world saw a president who is going to act decisively.”

US Defense Secretary James Mattis claimed that the US missile strike on the Sha’irat military airfield led to the destruction of 20% of the Syrian Air Force’s aircraft.

Mattis added that the Syrian government “lost the ability to refuel or rearm aircraft at Sha’irat airfield and at this point, use of the runway is of idle military interest.”

Unfortunately, the mad dog forgot to check some videos on Youtube, which reveal the air base to be operational and Syrian warplanes using it to conduct airstrikes on militants.

Meanwhile, the mainstream media continued their propaganda campaign against the Iranian-Syrian-Russian alliance. Now, some anonymous US official told Fox News that, “a Russian-operated drone flew over a hospital in Syria as victims of the attack were rushing to get treatment. Hours after the drone left, a Russian-made fighter jet bombed the hospital in what American officials believe was an attempt to cover up the usage of chemical weapons.”

“The presence of the drone couldn’t have been a coincidence, and that Russia must have known the chemical weapons attack was coming and that victims were seeking treatment,” Fox News wrote, refering to the anonymoous US official as to a source of the conclusion.

It seems investigation is not required when an anonymous US official is always near to provide such hard evidence of any allegations.

The US government is insane!

Behold a Pale Horse

Satanic.

paul

I would like to say that I am amazed by how easy it is for the public to be hoodwinked by the same set of media lies warmed over and repeated again. Sad to say I am not amazed or even surprised as it is completely predictable.

Barba_Papa

Considering that Erdogan can get away with blatantly muzzling the media, arresting opponents, funding terrorists, and still have insane approval ratings and loyal supporters it would seem that it’s not that hard a feat to accomplish. Just look at all those Turks living in Europe who gobble up his bullshit as if it’s the Second Coming. Similarly in Russia Putin’s high approval ratings can easily be explained by the positive spin he gets from the Russian state controlled media. Should be even easier in a socalled Western democracy. After all, we have a free media, right?

For all the talk about alternative news most people still get their news from the traditional media. Which I don’t think are willingly and intentionally distorting the news as part of some evil conspiracy. But they have a bias and journalistic standards have slipped. There’s a lot of pressure to come up with news and not a whole lot of pressure to really fact check the news. And governments have been very adept at using spin doctors to lead the media on.

The USA MSM has been well intended all along? They have been dragged, kicking and screaming, into reporting fake news? Their journalistic standards haven’t just slipped, they’ve been non-existent for quite some time now.

Barba_Papa

If they’re anything like the media over here then yeah, standards are non-existent. Newspapers keep on losing readers year after year, which translates into journalists losing jobs, which translates that the remaining staff has to provide more content. The TV news feels the same pinch from the internet as the newspapers. There is just no time anymore to fact check. Management wants content and content now. And they want content that draws in the public, so they want to provide content that they know that their audience is interested in.

I still think that the average news reporter is well intended, and sees it as his or her duty to provide the news. But they can no longer fact check their news, maybe they don’t even know how to any more. And I find it worrisome that they seem unable to separate their opinions from their news gathering. When I see the chief editor of the Dutch public news state his own personal opinions in a talk show then I wonder, how on earth can you think you can provide unbiased news if you publically state your bias? Yup, standards have slipped immensely.

And finally, we live in the age of emotion, not reason. The whole case of going to war with Iraq was one based on emotion, not reason. We think Saddam has WMD’s because we feel he has them and because we feel he’s a bad man. Similarly with Syria, Assad’s a bad man, he hurts his own people! Do something! Since emotions trump logic no wonder the world is in a mess. Especially since emotions are easy to fan and then next to impossible to change.

just imagine and tell me if it was putin vs obama or putin vs trump in US then who would have won the election?

The US really does not like Russia having a naval and air base in Syria . They have been trying for so long to push her back into a corner . Those bases allow Russia ( and Iran ) too many military options , especially if they have significant troop numbers . Regardless or real reason or law , they seem to wish to go for Iran , sooner , rather than later . This seems to be an intimidation to move Russia back .

I concur with the Sakers analysis, that the U.S latest criminal aggressions against the Syrian Arab Republic, is that the U.S government appears to be led by total and unpredictable lunatics, where one can not predict any rational behavior or normal diplomatic cooperation since there is no sane U.S official to talk with in the first place, that makes this whole situation extremely dangerous for miscalculations which can lead to direct military confrontation between the two superpowers in the Middle East.

Barba_Papa

I suspect that Trump is not insane, but likes to keep his opponents off balance. Being unpredictable makes it harder to guess his next moves. Also his negotiation style seems to be to always aim as high as possible, then settle for something halfway in between. He probably doesn’t care one bit about getting rid of Assad, but by putting regime change on the table he forces Putin to have to make bigger concessions if he wants to keep Assad then he would have if regime change had not been on the table.

Funny thing though, throughout the election campaign and after the media and his opponents have again and again tried to show us that Trump lies about everything. They’ve cried foul about it endlessly. But now that he seems to be doing what they want everything he says is now suddenly being accepted as God’s truth? Leopards don’t change their spots. It’s just that now he says things they want to hear.

“I suspect that Trump is not insane, but likes to keep his opponents off balance. Being unpredictable makes it harder to guess his next moves.”

Sorry, but I think you give Trump way too much credit.

Barba_Papa

Considering that he surprised all the experts, won the election against a candidate who had the backing of almost the entire political establishment and media, who by all logic and experts should have won, maybe he’s not so insane as everybody keeps saying.

That might be cognitive dissonance talking, where you are confronted with facts not to your liking that oppose everything you’re thinking so instead you create a new reality more to your liking. Because if Trump is insane your judgment cannot be the one that is at fault.

There’s a long list of US politicians and journalists who underestimated Trump as they called him insane. They’re now has beens.

Similarly with George W. Bush. Everybody kept calling him a stupid dumb ignorant idiot. And yet he won the presidency two times. Just because he was an ignorant hick didn’t mean he was stupid. In these cases always ignore at your own peril.

John

Is Shawn Spicer mentally deficient or does he have some sort of intellectual impediment? What an utter moron…
