U.S. Senators Make Attempt To Block Troops Withdrawal From Syria

Senate majority leader Mitch McConnell is preparing to introduce an amendment to a Middle East policy bill that would amplify the threat of al-Qaeda and ISIS in an attempt to block President Donald Trump’s decision to withdraw all American troops from Syria.

“While it is tempting to retreat to the comfort and security of our own shores, there is still a great deal of work to be done, and we know that left untended, these conflicts will reverberate right here, in our own cities,” the Republican leader said on January 29, according to U.S. News.

Last month, the White House announced that all troops will be withdrawn from Syria once the battle against ISIS is over. The surprise decision led to a backlash from the mainstream media, prominent politicians and even senior officials in Trumps’ administration. Secretary of Defense Jim Mattis and special envoy for the global coalition to defeat ISIS Brett McGurk resigned in protest.

McConnell said that the amendment that will be presented soon is a result of the claims made by head military and intelligence officials about the threat of ISIS in Syria and Afghanistan.

The senator was likely referring to the recent Intelligence Chiefs testimony to the Congress, during which Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats warned that a reduction in counter-terrorism efforts would embolden the terrorist group.

McConnell’s amendment has been the most serious attempt to block the withdrawal from Syria so far. However, it remains unclear if it would pass.

This just another fraud in the entire contrived war on terror scam run by the very people claiming to be threatened by their own creation.

Jim Bim

Senate majority leader Mitch McConnell is payed by the War Corporates to keep the war and killings on the track.

Fred Dozer

I always see Mitch in a Nazi Helmet !

I wonder if he got paid during the U.S. government shutdown?

badgery

Yep, for sure. The shutdown was limited to silly government functions like social services, science, healthcare, food production, etc. Naturally, important stuff like proxy force boogie men were well taken care of.

he’s having a bit of r & r in his vacation home, florida usa, where he travelled on his israeli passport, shaved and blue contact lenses. what did you think, r & r in baluchistan where no doubt all women are virgins. no don’t think so, the lecherous bastard.

“The United States spent at least $12 billion in Syria-related military and civilian expenses in the four years from 2014 through 2017, according to the former U.S. ambassador to the country.

This $12 billion is in addition to the billions more spent to pursue regime change in Syria in the previous three years, after war broke out in 2011.

This striking figure provides a further glimpse of the exorbitant sums of money the U.S. spent trying to topple the government in Damascus.”

RichardD

The US legislature that authorized this money for the Jews, can waste it as part of the $7 TRILLION that they’ve wasted for them on unnecessary wars on the other side of the planet that have nothing to do with US security. But can’t allocate $20 billion to secure the US’s own borders or provide health care for it’s citizens. The Jews are America’s and humanity’s number 1 enemy and problem.

In the movie The Long Kiss Goodnight a similar terror attack was referred to as a fundraiser. 911 was a very successful fundraiser.

.good movie.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell? Do you mean this treasonous bitch?

RichardD

Traitors r us. They’re all in on the 911 cover up for the Jews.

Carne João Pasta

They seem to have made this country their own. What I don’t understand is what Zionists have in common with the US Constitution, with what the US once was? What have they contributed to this nation? Were they integral to the founding and construction of the republic? What were their sacrifices exactly? It’s a mystery to me.

Sinbad2

As an analogy think of them like animals, animals always breed up where the food and water is good. The US is a rich nation, and the people are pretty dumb, so it’s easy pickings for the Jewish cult. They now hold most of the important positions in Government and media and will continue to reduce education to their American slaves to make them even easier to control.

Pave Way IV

Um, I think they figure their sacrifice of time, shekels and effort to usurp both voting and the law in the U.S. are their ‘contributions’. Example:

Link from MintPress: The US Senate Just Quietly Advanced A Free Speech Busting Anti-BDS Bill

Under the guise of preventing “anti-Semitism,” this anti-BDS bill represents a fraught, Orwellian overreach by Congress into the private lives of all Americans and their right to make politically-motivated decisions.

Carne João Pasta

They may as well adopt the Israeli constitution and change the name of the former republic of the USA to an amalgam of something having to do with Britain and Israel, and the psycho’s who rule from beneath the scenes most countries in the West. It’s so damn demoralizing. If my parents weren’t living still I’m not too sure I wouldn’t just exit this sick game. Knowing how much beauty and goodness, authentic virtues most of us possess and it can’t find its proper expression or experience a sense of belonging, of brotherhood/sisterhood (enough of the polarization of the sexes and classes). Make real advances and development within as humans, realizing our potentials. Not made to live in fear or despair.

I do not wish to become ignorant again, however, so that I may enjoy some version or form of ‘peace of mind’. I feel it is a privilege to have an awakened mind as much as it is a burden. I wish we could see great discoveries, both external and internal (mental/emotional/spiritual) again like in the past. Feel connected and living up to our potential(s), as kind of ambassadors for life, as also our ancestors. It seems like the NWO (or what have you) are going to get their way; and if not, they shall burn everything to the ground, scorched Earth style should they have to concede defeat. Maybe there is a very slight probability that we could have a mass awakening and something be done before it is too late? I’ve long since given up on any white hats or anyone in the halls of power to ever rectify this obvious imbalance of power. It seems like an emergency to me what we all are facing, as it was in the past just the same.

Knowing there isn’t a whole lot we can do to stop this out of control freight train that is the empire and all the chaos associated with it which is destined to crash. Cannot defy physics or mathematics forever. That said, I do wish to live to see the day some real justice is brought on those responsible for the endless wars, for all the major wars and tyranny, murders at the hands of governments. Too many people have been made victim by these tyrants. We’ve lost so much of the best men and women in those wars. It isn’t any wonder why the world looks as it does today.

To think of what alternative realities in history could have been, toward a more positive outcome. It really seems so fantastic and like a dream. I was reading that in the 60’s, the protest movements had had some real traction and the elitists of the day were worried, scared, caught off guard, etc. They were feeling threatened for once (in this country anyway). Even though what would have replaced the ‘Establishment’ might not have been any better, (as revolutions usually go). Was certainly worth a try. It is just hard to believe man can be so evil, that is what is most troubling for me. With the penchant for people to be blind to the evils perpetrated around them and in their name, to be apathetic (or lost in the R/L sports-like games, thus distracted and having their passions whipped up.)

“The ultimate tragedy is not the oppression and cruelty by the bad people but the silence over that by the good people.” ~ Dr. MLK, Jr.

^^ This is what ultimately troubles me. And I’m just as culpable in this regard. We somewhat have been trained to hurt one another, be suspicious or envious of our neighbors, to surrender over our power and best qualities. To be indoctrinated (whether politically or religiously, or culturally (Marxism)) and then to boast about it (hubris?)!

There must be some kind of strategy, (centuries, millenia old of course) at play, esp within the US. Seems also not to be isolated to this country either, but it is certainly magnified and more widespread here.

It indeed is very troubling, as also in the UK, Europe and now here, we can’t exercize our 1st amendment w/o some fear of persecution. Nobody should be exempt from criticism or rule of law if they are operating from positions of power over others and their policies are affecting the lives of innumerable amounts of people. That should not sit well with anyone.

(In a kind of philosophical mood tn, tend to write when I’m anxious or worried.)

Pave Way IV

Don’t be so glum, Senior Pasta. An opportunity for little people to communicate like this hasn’t existed – EVER – in history. Even the introduction of the printing press and the telephone pales in comparison. We’re seeing the lying MSM slowly gutted and scraps of truth leaking out. The psychopaths are going full retard today. What’s not to like about that? We should worry about NOT squandering the opportunity that fate had dropped in our laps, not lamenting psychopaths being psychopaths.

Carne João Pasta

Appreciate your insight. The elitists fallible and vulnerable just as anything else in this universe, indeed. I shouldn’t give over so much of my own power to them myself. I sure can use an actual vacation someplace wonderful for the spirit. Interesting times, no doubt.

verner

poor donald, he wants to be the unchallenged commander in chief but every two bit senator, general, director of intelligence are doing their best to rain on his parade. suspect the world will be better off once he’s managed to put all resistance to bed once and for all and he can spend his time planning for a better infrastructure und zu weiter. after having finished the wars here and there as promised.

Foreign policy as well as command of the military is his sole prerogative. The legislature is succesfully encroaching on it where he has failed to pressure them on the budget.

The executive order to get out of Syria is real, the zios and their mules are trying vainly with Bolton first, and now with the Congress to blunt it.

Is it? https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/32723acf2734378805a5092677bebd6ec3ff2a52d718d16872408f7c8a2365d4.png https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5Eauthor

The tweets are about Iran, not Syria.

Iran is in Syria, have you missed the narrative for the last 8 years?

That is your narrative, Iran and Syria are two different issues.

WRONG Iran, Syria is a US narrative.

It dont mean because trumpet said he withdraw the troops, he actually mean to do it also. The moron can compete successfully, with a windmill in a tornado, changing directions.

wootendw

Trump is commander-in-chief. McConnell’s bill is meant to appease the Netanyahu regime – even McConnell may prefer withdrawal but can’t admit it. Even if the bill passed by a veto-proof margin, Trump could ignore it. High-ranking officers may like their jobs in the MENA but the lower ranks will mostly be relieved to get out.

Opal Eldridge

Mitch McConnell, should send his sons and daughters or pick up a gun himself and go over there and fight. We have no need for ground forces in any of these regional wars in the middle east. We can simply pick the side we want to support and destroy their enemy with our air force and naval vessel bombardments.. It’s ridiculous to have troops on the ground thinking your going to win the hearts and souls of these demented Muslim populations that could easily defeat these terrorist if they wanted to.

“…these conflicts will reverberate right here, in our own cities….”

Not if the US is purged (ruthlessly if necessary) of all Muslims.

But first it should be purged, of your kind and then all the settlers that make it possible for the defective DNA, to attack and destroy defenseless nations.

That’s unusually short-sighted of you, sarge. Wahhabis? Sure. All muslims? Well, I will gladly put a bullet in the head of anyone threatening my 100% American citizen neighbors – who are some kind of non-Salfi muslims. I never asked because it’s rude and none of my business. Besides, both parents hard working, nice lawn, polite kids. Probably more patriotic than me. Likewise, I would take a bullet protecting them.

I’m curious. You seem red-pilled enough to understand the real enemy of the U.S. Why no outrage at the Wahhabi factory in Riyadh, Abu Dhabi and Doha? Where’s your outrage that the filthy treasonous primates below have been sending U.S. troops into the meatgrinder to solve a problem they created? https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/5c06552ef8c34799dbe974b4388f90cb39dbd2faf60714086ec153887f2cf8fc.png

Yeah, USA needs to keep busy the military-industrial complex. So, the war is necessary.

Sinbad2

Trump is as stupid as American voters, he thought that he would have real power if he became President. Now he is learning that American Presidents are merely puppets of the plutocrats who rule America.

jm74

Clever tactic from Trump and his administration, pretend to leave but have the Senate enact a law stopping the withdrawal. They will be very sorry, the ME must be getting sick of all this BS and they may just unite and throw the ‘infidels’ out, be even better if they hurried it up a bit.

Harold Smith

Congress can’t force anything of the kind. This is just more of the same political theater we’ve been treated to since orange clown was picked for “president.” The point is to give political cover to orange clown’s betrayals and to teach “the people” an important lesson: “see it doesn’t matter who you elect as president – even someone with good intentions [like orange clown] can’t change anything – we are still in control and we will always be in control no matter who you vote for.”
