U.S. Strikes Hit Yemen’s Houthis After Reported Attack On Two Tankers In Red Sea

The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) announced that its forces destroyed three missile systems in areas controlled by the Houthis (Ansar Allah) in Yemen between September 2 and 3.

The missiles “presented an imminent threat to U.S. and coalition forces, and merchant vessels in the region,” the command said in two separate statements, adding that it took action “to protect freedom of navigation and make international waters safer and more secure for U.S., coalition and merchant vessels.”

Prior to the strikes, CENTCOM said that the Houthis attacked on September 2 two oil tankers, the Panama flagged and owned, Greek operated Blue Lagoon I and the Saudi flagged, owned and operated Amjad, in the Red Sea with two ballistic missiles and a drone. Both tankers were hit, according to the command.

The Houthis claimed responsibility for the attack on Blue Lagoon I, without commenting on CENTCOM’s claims with regards to Amjad.

Later, the ship management company Bahri, which owns Amjad, denied that it had been targeted. CENTCOM false claims about an attack on the tanker were likely an attempt by the U.S. to drag Saudi Arabia into a new conflict with the Houthis in Yemen.

Over the last ten months, the Houthis targeted dozens of vessels affiliated with Israel or owned by the U.S. and the United Kingdom In the Red Sea, Gulf of Aden, Arabian Sea, Indian Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea in response to the Israeli war on the Palestinian enclave of the Gaza Strip.

In addition, the group’s air defenses shot down at least seven American-made combat drones over Yemen and nearby waters.

During the same period, the group also launched from Yemen more than 200 ballistic missiles, cruise missiles and suicide drones at Israel, mostly toward the Red Sea port city of Eilat in the south, according to the Israeli military.

The U.S. and the UK have carried out hundreds of strikes against Houthi-controlled areas in Yemen since January. Israel also launched an attack against the Red Sea port of al-Hodeidah last month after a deadly Houthi drone strike on the city of Tel Aviv. However, the group remains undeterred.

it has been a soulless monster the whole time since after the civil war at least, and in control of the zionists for that long, literally. if you read albert pike and pay attention to all the talmudite freemasons running the country for that long, at least. every single war was an unnecessary and evil endeavor. the trail of tears, the torture of filipinos, unnecessary fire bombing of civilians and dropping nukes on civilians just to show how tough they are etc.
