Well done UAE, we’re coming to help you.

Help to stole foreign land? It’s called by different word – occupation.

Israeli officers will work closely wit hthe UAE to support them against the Houthis, under the rightful president Hadi. We don’t occupy anything, just helping our Emirati friends.

S Melanson

Given the track record in Yemen I suggested a while back renaming Coalition HQ to Ronald McDonald’s Playhouse. I think they are beyond help in Yemen from a military perspective.

Why Israel get involved? Entrenched mountain tribal insurgency are nearly impossible to beat And more likely Israel get bloody nose. If Hadi is rightful President, why is he in Riyadh and not Sana or Aden? The reasons are obvious enough.

The people of Yemen which the Houthis are a major part, are suffering from the worst humanitarian crisis currently in the world and they are fighting to preserve their security and their sovereignty from being imposed upon by hostile Arab neighbors.

Could not the very same thing be said for Israel?

<>

Hadi can not govern Yemen because the Houthis took over Sana’a and installed their own puppet government. Hadi is a Sunni and most Yemenis are Sunnis, if elections took place he would win and the Houthis would be left with nothing. That’s why they keep on fighting, but they will lose in the end as most Yemenis are not on their side.
