At noon on June 2, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) struck the city of Berdyansk in the Zaporozhye region, which is under Russian control. At least three explosions were heard in the city. Two of them were, presumably, the sound of work of Russian air defence systems.
As a result of the attack, a missile hit the sea port in the city of Berdyansk. According to the local authorities, at least nine civilians were wounded. They weer taken to the hospital. There is still no information about the wounded.
According to preliminary data, the AFU used long-range Storm Shadow missiles which were supplied by London. However, the reports are yet to be officially confirmed.

The last Ukrainian attack on Berdyansk took place on May 21. Then, Storm Shadow long-range cruise missiles were used. Other Ukrainian missiles were intercepted by the air defense systems.
The sea port in Berdyansk resumed work after the end of the mop up operation on June 30, 2022. Then, the first cargo ship with grain went to sea.

ukrainian army is gone. these are attacks with nato weapons, carried by nato personel. russia has wiped out main ukro armed forces a couple times already. only more than ten waves of forced conscriptions are maintaining afu numbers, but those are civilians who were given a gun and are being threatened by their own commanders. thank god russian government is responsible and is acting with meassurement and humanity in accordance with its power.
