On December 7, a record number of shelling from positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces was recorded.
On the night of December 8, Ukrainian troops shelled Kuibyshev neighborhood of Donetsk city, using 122mm artillery-type weapons. As a result, 13 houses were damaged. Emergency operations services recorded numerous damages of gas distribution pipelines and interruptions in the supply of electricity.
According to the operational command of the Donetsk People’s Republic’s (DPR) forces, two civilians were wounded during the shelling. On the morning, personnel of the Joint Center for Control and Coordination (JCCC) inspected shell craters and fragments of the exploded missiles.
Active clashes took place at all key sectors of the front: in the villages of Aleksandrovka, Trudovskoy, Staromykhailivka, Vasilevka, Spartak and Zhabichevo, as well as on the outskirts of Donetsk. Yasnoye village near Dokuchaevsk, the villages of Leninskoye, Kominternovo and Oktyabr in Novoazovskiy district of the republic also came under fire of the Ukrainian Army.
