The Russian army is developing offensive in the Pokrovsk direction in the Donetsk People’s Republic, capturing one Ukrainian stronghold after another on all flanks. On September 14, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation officially confirmed the full control of the village of Zhelannoe Pervoe.
Russian troops are rapidly advancing south of the Karlov water reservoir. After the villages of Kralovka, Galitsinovka and Memrik came under Russian control, Russian forces advanced both to the west and south.

The full control of Zhellanoe Pervoe (1st) is officially confirmed. Meanwhile, Russian forces approached the village of Zhelannoe Vtoroe (2nd). At the same time, the Armed Forces of Ukraine lost control of their last positions in the town of Kranogorovka located to the south; and Russian forces are already expanding their zone of control north and west of Krasnogorovka. As a result of Russian advance, the Ukrainian grouping west of Nevelskoe is threatened with encirclement in a large cauldron. Ukrainian units are already retreating from their military positions, trying to escape to Kurahovka. Large areas are coming under Russian control.
At the same time, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are grinded in another cauldron in the town of Ukrainsk. About 50% of the town are under Russian control. Ukrainian stronghold in the town was encircled from the northern and southern directions. Over the past day, the last road to the town came under fire control of the advancing Russian forces.
According to reports from the battlefield, the Ukrainian military command is throwing additional forces to the cauldrons, paying no attention to heavy losses in an attempt to slow down Russian advance.
