Ukrainian Army Will Reach Russia’s Rostov In Event Of Hostilities Resumption In Donbass: Ex-Military Spokesperson

The former speaker of the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) claimed that if the case of an attack by forces of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics (DPR and LPR), the UAF may mount a counteroffensive that could potentially reach Rostov.

In his words, the Ukrainian Army is the “one of the most combat-ready in Europe” and there is little anybody can do to stop it.

Speaking about the mythical DPR/LPR offensive along the Krivoy Rog-Kremenchug-Poltava-Kiev line, Vladislav Voloshin said:

“It is almost impossible to do something like this, because today the Ukrainian army is one of the most combat-ready in Europe. Because we are waging a real war. And our front is multi-layered,” he promised.

“And here is the short answer of what will ensue over there, our army will probably reach Rostov.”

Now, the absurdity is clear, since even after the “harvest” ceasefire, both the Ukrainian side and the side of the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics continue violating it.

But at the same time, the only side in the conflict that continuously reports victims is Ukraine. Simply going on the “War” section on any Ukrainian news website is enough.

But, one shouldn’t forget that the war is not only on the front, it is everywhere. A recent threat to Ukrainian national security was discovered in Kiev. In a supermarket. It was much worse than a bomb because it could “poison people’s minds.”

A supermarket in Kiev was selling school diaries that included a map of Ukraine that didn’t include Crimea, which has been part of another country for 5 years.

Unian even published an “eyewitness report”:

“According to an eyewitness, almost a month has passed since the moment he first saw the faulty product on the shelves. The staff allegedly apologized and said all said diaries would be removed from the sale, and those responsible would be reprimanded.

However, as it turned out, the diaries have not gone anywhere.”

It is quite “obvious” that “Russian Overlord Vladimir Putin” himself printed out those diaries and it is all part of his agenda. He probably also hand drew the pictures.

On August 10^th, Russian President Vladimir Putin did the ‘unthinkable’ and visited Crimea, to which the Ukrainian side, supported by the US Embassy expressed a protest against.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine expressed its strong protest over the visit to the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol – without the consent of the Ukrainian side.

And in conclusion, to provide some fuel for speculation that Ukraine may actually be some sort of reality TV show, similar to Big Brother but on a much larger scale, the investigations into former Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko are on-going.

In the next interrogation of Poroshenko, a lie detector may be used.

Chief of the State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) of Ukraine Roman Truba suggested the possibility.

“The second questioning of the ex-president in the SBI lasted two hours. Today, Petro Poroshenko testified in the probe into possible tax evasion during the acquisition of Pryamiy TV channel. We do not rule out that the next questioning will be carried out with the use of a lie detector. By the way, it’s not scary at all – all our employees undergo such a psychophysiological study annually,” Truba wrote on his Telegram channel.

He said that hours after Poroshenko appeared in the SBI for questioning, after being on vacation, with his entire family to an undisclosed location, most likely the Maldives. He has 11 criminal proceedings opened against him.

Poroshenko, of course, claimed that all of these investigations are “part of a show staged for Russian propaganda.”

Ihor Golovan, Poroshenko’s lawyer said that the interrogations at the SBI were “inspired by Russia.”

“The main purpose of questioning is to stage a show [a rally of Poroshenko’s opponents]. And therefore, it doesn’t matter at all in what case he was questioned, because there is no need for such questioning. And calls are being made solely to stage such shows. The only task of these probes is to exert pressure on Poroshenko and his political force. We are sure that this is all inspired by the aggressor state. And, unfortunately, we returned to the situation where law enforcement agencies have come under external control,” said Golovan.

“I do not know the exact chain, but the first probe was into the vessels in the Kerch Strait. This is the first thing they started. And we see that on this case, SBI remains silent. We are being pulled in relation to Kuznia, we are being pulled in relation to Pryamiy. But this is nothing more than a disguise of the main task, which is now being carried out to the detriment of [POW] sailors. After all, it was this report (the report on the alleged “crime committed by Poroshenko”, sent to the SBI] on the sailors that was quoted by Russia’s Permanent Representative to the UN Security Council,”

Golovan added that, despite his appeal, the investigator banned him from commenting on what exactly Poroshenko had been asked during questioning: “They are embarrassed by their questions, and all criminal proceedings have been instituted without any crime event.”

The situation appears to be turning into the story of the Boy who cried Wolf, but in this case, it is Russia. Anything that goes against Poroshenko’s “agenda” is Russian meddling, but nobody appears to be listening any longer.

Finally, to make it even more dramatic, Poroshenko said he was willing to testify with a lie detector, but only if it were aired on live TV on the Pryamiy TV channel.

One of the proceedings against him is for the purchase of the said channel and tax evasion.

“I’m ready to comment on the situation that Mr. Truba talked about regarding a lie detector. I don’t trust the SBI, I don’t trust its leadership, I don’t believe in objectivity and impartiality of the investigation. And at the same time, there are questions regarding Pryamiy TV channel, and I have this list they want to voice, I’m ready to testify with the use of the lie detector on Pryamiy TV channel live,” he said.

The investigators weren’t charmed by the idea, according to him.

“When I proposed this, they did not show much enthusiasm.”

One should respect Poroshenko’s attempts to bring an audience to his newly-acquired TV channel.

But it does appear that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s former comedy series in which he played the Ukrainian President appears to be leaking into reality.
