On the night of August 24, the Armed Forces of Ukraine launched new wave of drone strikes in the Russian rear regions. The Russian Ministry of Defense declared that in total 7 Ukrainian UAVs were destroyed by the air defense forces in the border region. Five of the destroyed drones were intercepted in the Voronezh region, two more UAVs were destroyed in the Belgorod and Bryansk regions.
As a result of the night attack, a fire broke out at a warehouse with ammunition in the Ostrogozhsky district in the Voronezh region. According to local authorities, the fire broke out as a result of falling wreckage of a destroyed UAV, which caused the detonation of ammunition.
Unfortunately, two civilian women were wounded as a result of the attack. One of them was taken to a hospital in serious condition.
An emergency regime has been introduced in three villages of the Ostrogozhsky district. In addition, 200 people were temporarily evacuated from one of the villages until the consequences of fire and detonation are eliminated.
This is not the first Russian rear military facility attacked by Ukrainian drones in a week. On August 22, Ukrainian UAVs attacked the Marinovka military airfield in the Kalachevsky district in the Volgograd region. Another military warehouse with ammunition was reportedly destroyed as a result of the attack.

in 09/22 d.p.r + l.p.r + zap voted to become part of rus (in the expectation that rus would take all donbass quickly). so this territory became rusn not ukrnian.

when radar are tuned to see drones, there are all sorts of false positives that will happen from birds. with algorithmic integration to differentiate drone trajectories from birds, maybe it would become useful. and russian air defenses may be the most advanced but they are lacking. hezbollah could have totally crippled israel’s ability to wage slaughter with as many drones as russia has already made in the war (and probably less), lest we forget how rotten everyone is here.
