Right. That’s why the US is desperately trying to convince the Germans and various sundry boot-lickers to cough up more rolling coffins for the armed forces of the failed Ukrainian CIA project. Because the Russians are kaput.
More details about the Ukrainian offensives are emerging. Even the WSJ had a rather candid piece on it. It twould seem that preparations for the southern offensive were more obvious and Russia therefore prepared defense there more thoroughly. More artillery other material and elite units were moved there. That resulted in two things: 1) The Ukrainian offensive resulted in little terrain gain, which was often reverted. It also resulted in high causalties for AFU. The figures are likely not as high as Russian propaganda put them, but according even to Ukrainian sources they were very high or even massive. While some numbers will be inflated, there is no doubt that the defense was successful and the offensive a very bloody matter. 2) The north was neglected. There weren’t sufficient troops and little fortification. This may in part be due to miscalculation. However, it should be remembered that Russia/D/L fight this war with less manpower than Ukraine. A very unusual situation. Air superiority and artillery give Russia some advantage but even high manoeuvreability cannot compensate for lack of men on such a long frontline. Hence the decision to partially mobilise. 3) While the north is important, reinforcements can also reach it quicker. The south was likely strengthened with Crimea in mind and generally because the sea shore is of major strategic importance. A link-up with the Republic of Transnistria is probably planned.
Again, Ukranian forces advance further in a day than Russia in a month.

It’s not a good situation for the russians. Ukroshits now are doing all theirs best to cut the supply lines north of Lyman, because if this happens, they must evacuate Lyman and surrounding area. Very dangerous situation for them especially because the hitlerists will do every possible effort to achieve more military victories in Kharkov area in this next 3 months till the enormous reinforcements will enter the frontline and that will be GAME OVER for them. Mark my word: the most difficult time from the entire war is that NEXT 3 months !!!!!!!! Russians MUST keep the front will ALL costs ! It’s the new Stalingrad ! After 80 years the HISTORY is repeating itself ! Better to understand to get all those antifascist foreign volunteers NOW ! Even the ME shia ones !!!!!!!! They are excellent fighters and can cope easily with any hohol banderist trash ! And the next 7 days till the official annexation of liberated territories will be the harsh of the harshest !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! After that, Russia can legally use the tactical high power weapons (not only nukes, Putin clearly spoke about that) to dismantle any section of front from it’s wehrmacht Kiev nazi horseshit. I have two comments to Pamfil: (1) I agree with your analysis regarding the Ukrainian success around Lyman and it is likely that Lyman is liberated within a week or so I would guess. However, I would prefer to switch your naming of the Ukrainains (“Ukroshits”, “hitlerists”) to the Russians as the whole Russian leadership more and more resembles that of Nazi Germany with a God-like “Führer” at the top and all around him are afraid they might anger him with bad news. We also have the Nazi-inspired Wagner group that is the informal army of Russia, who has now started to recruit from Russian prisons(!). Any kind of opposition is now punished with draconian prison-sentences. If any one person used the word “war” to describe the situation, he/she is arrested and risks a long time in jail. A sick country to say the least. (2) This war seems to be extremely bad planned. It seems that Putin betted on taking Kyiv in one quick punch and that failed miserably. So now Putin is stuck in Ukraine and he cannot win this war. But this he cannot accept of course so he has to raise the stakes even more (unpopular mobilisation and even threatening with nuclear weapons). The newly mobilised recruits will be sent to the front with poor training and poor equipment. This might end up in a revolution against the Russian leadership like that in 1917 (which also happened after mobilisation and dissatisfaction with the war). Putin might end up like Mussolini or….like Milosevic in the Hague.
