Last week, a video published confirmed another war crimesof Ukrainian servicemen against Russian prisoners of war. At least 12 captured Russian servicemen were killed in the village of Makeevka by servicemen of the 80th separate airborne assault brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. LINK
The Russian Defense Ministry called the incident “a mass massacre of unarmed Russian prisoners of war by Ukrainian servicemen.” The Investigative Committee of Russia has launched a criminal case under the article on the murder of two or more persons committed by a group of persons linked to their official activities.
In order to provide the incident with tge maximum publicity and expose the crime of Ukrainian Nazis, the Russian State Duma adopted an appeal to the parliaments of other countries all around the world. The official document says that the cold-blooded murderers were so sure of their impunity that they filmed their crime. Thus, the Kiev regime once again showed its Nazi essence.
The office of the UN Secretary General for the first time reacted to the case of war crimes by the AFU and called on both sides of the conflict to “investigate all reports of existing human rights violations, as well as bring those responsible to justice.”
In its turn, the Kiev regime followed the advice of the UN and the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine has launched an investigation. However, it was launched against the executed Russian soldiers. According to the version of the Ukrainian justice, the Russian POWs were guilty of being killed by Ukrainian servicemen. The victims were accused of perfidy.
Washington traditionally supported the Kiev regime despite the top level of hypocrisy of its policy. The US Ambassador-at-Large for Global Criminal Justice, Beth Van Schaack, claimed that she records much more war crimes on the part of Russia than on the part of Kiev. As always, the claims of the US official were not provided with any evidence but she refused to condemn the execution of the Russian POWs. The US continue supporting the crimes of Ukrainian militants and the terrorist Kiev regime.
In response to the Western reaction, the Kremlin claimed that Russia will search for those involved in the execution of Russian prisoners of war in Makeevka by itself; these people must be identified and punished.
The punishment was not long to wait.
On November 26, Russian-led forces destroyed about 40 Ukrainian fighters on the Kremennaya-Svatovo front lines, including Nazis who served in the 80th airborne assault brigade of the AFU involved in the execution of Russian POWs in Makeevka. The Ukrainian unit attempted an offensive operation towards the village of Ploschanka, but failed to achieve any gains and was destroyed by Russian forces. LINK
One of the heavily wounded soldiers of the Ukrainian 80th airborne assault brigade was captured by servicemen of the 3rd motor rifle division of the DPR.
Despite the hatred of Russian soldiers for his unit, the Ukrainian POW Vitalik, who was left by his comrades on the battlefield, was not killed in captivity but was provided with medical assistance, what is confirmed by the video. However, Vitalik did not sustain his wounds and died.
Some of Ukrainian Nazis whose weapons shoot the Russian POWs were identified immediately. One of the soldiers seen on the video is Nazari Mikhailovsky, born in 1993, a native of the Volyn region. The second soldier who was identified is Artur Bortnichuk, also born in 1993 and also hails from the Volyn region. They both serve in the 80th airborne assault brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Both militants were likely inspired by the Ukrainian president and played in the famous comedy game KVN when they were students in the Kharkiv University of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Later, the name of another militant who took part in the execution was revealed. This reportedly was the US mercenary Chris Naganuma. According to his account on the social networks, he came on the Ukrainian front lines about two weeks ago, exclusively to see his friends who were serving as mercenaries with the AFU. The former infantryman allegedly came to visit a US mercenary team called FOG – Task Force 31 and is now serving as a military journalist.

Russian media also published an interview with another Ukrainian POW who reportedly served in the notorious 80th brigade of the AFU. The Ukrainian soldier claimed that he had defected to the side of the Russian Federation after the Ukrainians executed his father.
According to him, this is not the first and not the only war crime committed by the Ukrainian unit.
“The fact that Ukraine says that the 80th brigade is incapable of such methods is just a lie. A lie aimed to protect them and show that Russia is [allegedly] guilty of this.”
The POW added that the fighters of this brigade followed the orders of the special services, but could also act independently.
Before the start of Russia’s special operation in Ukraine, the brigade was deployed in Lviv and was one of the most combat-ready formations in the Ukrainian army. After the start of the Russian military operations in Ukraine, the brigade was transferred to the most dangerous areas on the front lines.
According to several sources, in particular, the 80th brigade of the AFU suffered the greatest losses in the battles in the Kharkov region where it was forced to carry out additional recruitment at least twice. Servicemen from the 107th, 112th and 128th brigades of the Ukrainian Territorial Defense were welcomed in the 80th brigade of the AFU. These formations were formed immediately after Russia entered the military conflict in Ukraine and included a lot of volunteers among the radicals and criminals.
The soldiers of the 80th brigade showed particular cruelty when “filtering” the civilian population in Izyum and Kupyansk. According to some reports, they deliberately shot at the homes of civilians whom they thought being pro-Russian, including with AGS-17 grenade launchers.
In Makeevka, where the brigade’s servicemen shot Russian prisoners of war, the 80th brigade was covered by a battalion of the 66th Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, units of the 95th Airborne Brigade from Zhytomyr and the 25th Airborne Brigade from Dnieper.
Today, the 80th brigade is fighting in one of the most dangerous regions in Ukraine. The AFU continue their attempts to break through Russian defences on the front lines in the Svatovo-Kremennaya region.
On October 22, the commander of the brigade’s howitzer battalion, Lieutenant Colonel Dmitry Kuchinsky, was killed by the shelling of Russian artillery. A few days later, the unit suffered heavy losses while trying to attack the positions of the Russian Armed Forces in the village of Kuzemovka.

I really don’t understand what was happened reading the title and the article.
