While Russian special services are making every effort to identify pro-Ukrainian terrorists, the Kiev regime is inventing new sophisticated ways to carry out attacks on civilians in Russia. On April 2, the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) prevented the smuggling of large amount of explosives from the territory of Ukraine.
The terrorists tried to transfer Ukrainian explosives into Russian from the territory of Latvia. According to the FSB, the cargo was transferred from Ukraine to Romania, then to Hungary, Slovakia, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia and then enter the Russian Federation. Thus, none of the countries in this large list discovered the hidden explosive, or they intentionally ignored the dangerous cargo on its way to Russia.
Ukrainian terrorists hid hexogen in icons used to deliver explosives. 27 homemade bombs, 70 kg of explosives were seized. This would be enough to blow up a five-storey apartment building. In addition, fuses of industrial production with retarders were found in the icons. Such explosive devices are used by special forces to launch sabotage attacks.
The FSB also detained the smuggler, who confirmed that the explosives should be delivered to Moscow and used for terrorist attacks in Russia.
