Uncertainty around the future of Iran’s nuclear deal

With elections coming in 2016 in the US, the future of the agreement reached on July 14th between Iran and the P5+1 group is uncertain. The main issue is that no one knows who is going to become the next President of the US and which party will control the Congress then, according to the political analyst Stephen Lendman.

The fact is that once the agreement is implemented, on November 2016 new representatives in the US will be elected and how their policies regarding the deal will be is still unknown; this as US long-standing hostility against Iran continues.

But maybe the main issue is not Iran’s nuclear deal itself, because it’s widely known by the world’s major powers that the Islamic nation’s nuclear activities have not military implications.

The biggest concern for the US is that Iran is an independent country, rich in resources, the same as Iraq and Venezuela, where Americans have tried to attack the governments that don’t seem to be aligned with its pro-western policies.
