Actions of the United States have, once again, thrown the Middle East into a state of chaos, and there’s significant risk of a new open military conflict, involving Washington and Tehran.
It all began when on January 3rd, a US strike in Baghdad killed Major General Qassem Soleimani, the commander of the Qods Force of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, the second-in-command of Iraq’s Popular Mobilization Units (PMU). Several other Iranian and Iraqi officers were also killed.

Qassem Soleimani achieved infamy as one of the officials most responsible for the defeat of ISIS in Iraq and Syria. At the same time, the PMU are part of Iraq’s Armed Forces, and they are an important party in the fight against ISIS, that took the brunt of the fighting in Iraq. The US, essentially, struck the individuals who were leading the fight against ISIS and deserved a fair share of the credit, as well as its formal ally Iraq.
The official US position was published in a US Department of Defense press release.
“At the direction of the President, the U.S. military has taken decisive defensive action to protect U.S. personnel abroad by killing Qasem Soleimani, the head of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps-Quds Force, a U.S.-designated Foreign Terrorist Organization.
General Soleimani was actively developing plans to attack American diplomats and service members in Iraq and throughout the region. General Soleimani and his Quds Force were responsible for the deaths of hundreds of American and coalition service members and the wounding of thousands more. He had orchestrated attacks on coalition bases in Iraq over the last several months – including the attack on December 27th – culminating in the death and wounding of additional American and Iraqi personnel. General Soleimani also approved the attacks on the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad that took place this week.
This strike was aimed at deterring future Iranian attack plans. The United States will continue to take all necessary action to protect our people and our interests wherever they are around the world.”
The strike was ordered by US President Donald Trump, allegedly without even consulting the US Congress. US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said that Trump’s actions had been taken without Congressional Approval.
“American leaders’ highest priority is to protect American lives and interests. But we cannot put the lives of American servicemembers, diplomats and others further at risk by engaging in provocative and disproportionate actions,” said House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.
“Tonight’s air strike risks provoking further dangerous escalation of violence. America – and the world – cannot afford to have tensions escalate to the point of no return,” she added. “The Administration has conducted tonight’s strikes in Iraq targeting high-level Iranian military officials and killing Iranian Quds Force Commander Qasem Soleimani without an Authorization for Use of Military Force (AUMF) against Iran. Further, this action was taken without the consultation of the Congress.”
The US embassy in Baghdad urged all American citizens to leave the country “immediately”. According to some reports, the US is evacuating all its oil field staff from Iraq.

And Trump made the astounding announcement that Iran “had never won a war, but never lost a negotiation!”
Iran never won a war, but never lost a negotiation!

The strike that killed Qassem Soleimani, Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis followed a recent riot near the US Embassy in Baghdad and its subsequent storming by protesters. The riot itself, was in response to US airstrikes that hit 5 positions of Kata’ib Hezbollah in Syria and Iraq, killing upwards of 25. The airstrikes were warranted because the group, part of the Popular Mobilizations Units allegedly carried out shelling on army bases with US troops in Iraq.
The January 3 strike caused a series of anti-US and pro-Iranrallies in Iran, Bahrain and also Iraq.
Iranian state TV described Soleimani’s killing as “the biggest miscalculation by the US” since WWII. “The people of the region will no longer allow Americans to stay,” it said.
Iran’s Supreme leader Ayatollah Khamenei immediately appointed a new commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Qods Force – Brig. Gen. Esmail Gha’ani.
In an official statement, Khamenei noted that Gha’ani was one of the prominent commanders during the war with Iraq and that he accompanied Maj. Gen. Soleimani in the past several years in the region.
“The plan of the force will exactly be the same as the plan during martyr Soleimani’s tenure,” the statement reads.
Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei called for three days of mourning, saying Major General Soleimani’s killing will double the motivation of the resistance against the US and Israel. According to Iranian state television, Khamenei said harsh revenge awaits “criminals” who killed Soleimani.
Iraq’s Shiite cleric Moqtada al-Sadr has reactivated his widely-known anti-US occupation force, the Mahdi Army, nearly a decade after he dissolved it.
Iraq’s Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani has strongly condemned the US assassination of Iranian commander Qassem Soleimani and his comrades, calling them the “heroes of the fight against the ISIS” terrorist group.
“From the criminal aggression against Iraqi forces’ positions in the city of al-Qaim, which killed and wounded tens of our combatant children to the regrettable events Baghdad witnessed during the past few days and the Thursday night’s cruel aggression near the Baghdad International Airport … all serve as a warning that the country is at very difficult conditions,” Sistani said.
Grand Ayatollah al-Sistani denounced as “cruel” the overnight attack. Ayatollah Sistani described the attack as a violation of Iraq’s national sovereignty and international charters.
Iraqi Prime Minister Adil Abdul-Mahdi condemned the US attack, warning of devastating consequences for Iraq.
Lebanese pro-Hezbollah newspaper Al-Akhbar reported the death of Qassem Soleimani, with a simple message “It is War.”

Leonid Slutsky, head of the Russian Parliament’s committee on international affairs said that the situation around the assassination of Qassem Soleimani may need to be discussed in the UNSC.
“The lawless killing of Soleimani is a barbaric provocation of the United States. It will lead to nothing but an escalation of tension in the region. The Americans have crossed the red line, and this time the consequences may be most serious. Iran has already promised to take revenge and give a crushing answer, ” Slutsky said.
At the same time, the head of the committee believes that “it is important for Tehran to avoid further steps that could lead to a sharp deterioration in the situation in the region and act in the legal field.”
Russian Foreign Ministry provided condemned the US operation in Iraq:
“The world is faced with a new reality – the killing of a state official by another state”
China appealed for restraint from all sides, “especially the United States,” following the killing. Chinese foreign ministry spokesman Geng Shuang said:
“China has always opposed the use of force in international relations. We urge the relevant sides, especially the United States, to remain calm and exercise restraint to avoid further escalating tensions.”
He said Iraq’s sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity must be respected.
Iran is likely to begin priming its forces for a retaliatory attack, the Supreme National Security Council convened in an emergency meeting, but there’s little news as of its decisions yet.
Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu cut his visit to Greece short and convened an emergency meeting with defense chiefs due to fears of Iranian striking Israel in response to the US aggression.
The US itself has heavy military presence in the region, with troops and equipment in many countries, notably in Qatar, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and approximately 5,000 troops in Iraq.
The killing of Qassem Soleimani is a political assassination, by all accounts. The US bombed an Iranian delegation that arrived Iraq, as well as top Iraqi military personnel.
A new, and hot conflict in the Middle East is an opportunity for US President Donald Trump to remain in power, amid the upcoming presidential elections in 2020, as well as the impeachment proceedings that are taking place. It is, furthermore, a step aimed at strengthening the Trump’s administration position among the pro-Israeli lobby and the military industrial complex.
Taking the above in mind, the White House could be interested in escalation and will push even further in the case of a strong response by Iran.
Trump is trying to explain the US stance in Twitter:
….of PROTESTERS killed in Iran itself. While Iran will never be able to properly admit it, Soleimani was both hated and feared within the country. They are not nearly as saddened as the leaders will let the outside world believe. He should have been taken out many years ago!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 3, 2020
Iran’s response may vary. However, it is unlikely that Iran would carry out an open strike on US military targets in the region. Thus, there are a number of options:
- Tehran may attempt to organize a reciprocal and symmetrical political assassination within the US.
- Iran can block the Strait of Hormuz and limit shipping in the Persian Gulf, as it has repeatedly threatened to do so in case the US goes too far. The killing of Qassem Solemani led to a rise in oil prices, they will grow even further if Iran undertakes such actions.
- Iran can employ proxy forces and its allies to strike American infrastructure, both in the Middle East and beyond. It can also involve its proxy forces, as well as allies to strike Saudi Arabian infrastructure.
- At the same time, Tehran can take advantage of the situation within Iraq to make the US presence there impossible, or at least nearly so by way of ambushes of convoys, rocket attacks on military facilities, and shooting downs of US aircraft.
- An attack on Israeli targets is also possible, but at this point in the conflict between Tehran and Washington it would be unlikely, since striking Israel would not allow Iran to achieve its primary goal of delivering a blow to the US.
The US' act of international terrorism, targeting & assassinating General Soleimani—THE most effective force fighting Daesh (ISIS), Al Nusrah, Al Qaeda et al—is extremely dangerous & a foolish escalation.
The US bears responsibility for all consequences of its rogue adventurism.
— Javad Zarif (@JZarif) January 3, 2020
Iran’s possible actions in the situation come down to speculation, but one thing is certain – the Middle East was once again thrown into chaos, and primarily through the actions of Washington.
MORE ON THE TOPIC:
They are too crazy to care if they did.
Where ever the americunts can be found, execute them by whatever means and ship them home in body bags, lots & lots of body bags. Oh yeah and the Zionist war criminals, you will not be unscathed, pay back is definitely in the cards for you POS’s!!!
And your citizens are all equally equal of your government’s crimes too. Asshole.
Another foolish action by a neo-colonialist nation eager to be toilet paper for Israeli hate crimes
Not the “nation.” Just a bunch of the very same talmudic satanists who also rule Israhell. Those who have stolen the nation’s government.
When will the world come out and stand up to the largest terrorist organisation in the world. Only the US can be illegally in someone else’s country and claim it to be self defence. Unreal that people still fall for that shit
Put the terrorists in a nice box. That is the only solution. https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/85520f43b665ca360795db05a22499e9b3ebf811e63118a6937980a636c455f1.gif

An attack on Saudi Arabia would be a win-win for ABORTION RIGHTS! Let the abortion banners go at it!
You are a sick child murderer. Go to hell!
Isolate & Boycot Satan’s Empire…turn it into glass if the World prefers a Final Solution…
Does melania know trump is cheating on her? he got a reach around from netanyahu and then did ATM on him after
USA Needs to be thought a lesson
they arrest people who have had too much to think
Same ole, same ole. The U.S. strikes, the nation they strike condemns the attack, other nations call for restraint. The end, until the same thing happens again, and again. I’ve been watching this same scenario for decades. Just what makes anyone think this will be different?
One Belt Road Initiative, syria, libya. and USA pigdogs have always been seen as hostile invaders
“Just what makes anyone think this will be different?”
Eviction from iraq. No Shia majority that wants the USA to depose Saddam …. PMU, Mahdi Army, Al Queda and ISIS now have a common enemy. Open season on US officers, officials, contractors across the middle east. No coalition of the willing, sort of willing, wants something from the USA,or simply able to hold a gun except Israel . No proxy force to soak up casualties. No chance of ever getting a nuclear deal without a land invasion of Iran.
Are these things that have happened or that you hope will happen? Soak up casualties from what? Perhaps if we start seeing casualties then we will know. But until then I don’t expect any meaningful response.
“Are these things that have happened or that you hope will happen?”
they are happening.
“Soak up casualties from what?”
The USA fights with proxies on the ground supported by US SOF, fire support and USAF. The very PMU the US forces attacked and SDF fighting ISIS. ARVN in Vietnam. Contras, White Hand and ESA in Latin America, CAFGU in the Philippines, Sunni Mujahideen in Afghanistan in the 80’s, USA learned to avoid body bags after Vietnam and put other forces in positions to die rather than US forces. makes US wars look clean and bloodless to American consumers.
“Perhaps if we start seeing casualties then we will know. But until then I don’t expect any meaningful response.”
I don’t think you understand …. this isn’t a drone strike on a village in Pakistan or Syria.
You killed 41 members of an active branch of the Iraqi military who were fighting ISIS followed by an air strike on a guest of the Iraqi nation ….. who happened to be a beloved hero of the Iran-Iraq war at a public airport in a country where you are only there by invitation. There were 2 cars that were hit and the passengers included high ranking officials of the iraqi government.
Just like WW2 was really a continuation of WW1 you just restarted the iraq 2003 war but this time you don’t have a sympathetic Shia majority in Iraq and are taking on Iran as well as Iraq and every US hating jihadi with an AK with no coalition, no UN mandate and probably no bases in the region after the blowback from this act of stupidity reached hurricane force.
No sir, I DO understand. And I do not expect any meaningful response. There is a reason the U.S. gets away with this kind of stuff. No one wants to retaliate against a bunch of maniacs who have the best military in the world and nukes just in case they get a bloody nose. Iran cannot face the U.S. toe to toe so the most we will see is some pathetic response by “Iranian proxies”. Or at most Iran will shoot down another drone or something like that.
“Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei called for three days of mourning, saying Major General Soleimani’s killing will double the motivation of the resistance against the US and Israel”.
Does he really believe he can plan attacks against the U.S and Israel and expect us to do nothing? deluded mullah. Then again, if he wanna retaliate against us then we are ready for it.
Well they will fire back man that’s for sure but how en when is a mystery for all do you believe they may attack israel ?
The last time they did something like that in November 2019, Israel attacked dozens of Iranian targets inside Syria and killed alot of Iranians and militiamen. Unlike the KSA, we do strike back and we do so harshly, won’t be smart of them to shoot any rockets but it’s up to them.
But i think this is different in syria they use Afghan Shia refugees who they dont care about anyway they usually get killed in your strikes but this is the leader i mean what would you do if they killed gantz , or lieberman and so on
I don’t know Ali, but we will respond if they make any attack from Syria or Lebanon. It’s their choice only.
Is it true some or many Israëli’s right now are scared or afraid i read that somewhere BTW what time is it now there
Hey Ali, it’s 20:22 at the moment. And nah, we are not scared we are used to wars even if people think we are afraid, we will defend our country against Iran and their proxies anytime. Will they act against us? I don’t know we will see.
If they attack us troops only would you respond ?
Well it depends if the U.S asks us for any help, Israel will not say no to our American allies.
Yeah… you ran away from Vietnam with their tail between their legs. Will also flee Afghanistan, Iraq and Syria. QED
Israel lost the war in Syria which it waged through US armed head choppers. They can sit inside their borders and forget about any expansions, beyond slaughtering unarmed Gaza population.
Israel has never bombed Iran, can you explain me why?
Because they have never shot from Iran directly into Israel, only using proxies from other states.
they could just hijack another USA drone and use that
Oh the buckley directive should have been a strong learning experience.. But imbeciles never learn and you are wasting your time with one..
Yes. He does really believe that. and they have public toilets in iran that are older than the USA is. Do you honestly believe USA would have gone anywhere near iraq if they thought saddam had WMD’s?
do you honestly think that USA sanctions affect or hurt Iran in any way whatsoever?
One Belt Road initiative will not be stopped, USA hegemony is over, and it is down to whether USA accepts that or in a fit of desperation pushes the button
We both know Iran can not and will not risk an open war against the U.S because the outcome is already known. Truth is, Iraqis want both U.S and Iran out, if you demand any U.S forces pullout then demand the same from Iran.
Iran are in iraq at the request of iraq. this guy was responsible for defeating ISIS in iraq. did you not read the article? USA are not welcome, Iran has been invited. Iran was invited into syria to fight ISIS. Israel and USA keeps bombing syria and just says ‘muh iran’
USA armed, funded, created, control and support ISIS.
iraq are demanding USA force fuck right off out of there. They want iran forces to stay and fight USA terrorists
Yes, and the ISIS, US proxies, failed in their attempts to murder General Qassem Soleimani, and so the US had to do it instead.
I sincerely hope that this all ends very badly for the US.
Though USA is strong and has been for a long time, the US foreign policy has been steadily deteriorating it’s position in the whole Middle East since the beginning of this millenium. They have succeeded in uniting all the Shias against them, alienating Turkey, distancing ties with most Gulf Council countries, failed in installing ISIS/Qaeda etc. in Syria and Iraq. Now they are openly bombing and killing and their ex partners against ISIS. Their time of occupation and plunder in Syria, Iraq and elsewhere is coming to an end. Not to mention the grip on EU is loosening as well.
The prospect for greater Israel is diminishing as well, along with the prospect and opportunity for large scale war with Iran and general loss of influence inside the Middle East.
It’s the US that can’t risk an open war with Iran that would result in serious damage to it’s economy. The US has a formal military occupation of Iraq with bases and forces. I’m not aware that Iran does.
The US is having enormous trouble occupying and maintaining the governments that they stood up in Iraq and Afghanistan. Do you think that they’re going to be able to even occupy Iran and stand up a government there? I don’t.
Iran has such imbeciles as enemies.. Its just great..
“Does he really believe he can plan attacks against the U.S and Israel and expect us to do nothing”?
First do you actually believe that it’s he and he alone that plans attacks against the US and Israel?
Second how is it a good strategy to take out a beloved figure and war hero at a time when you aren’t at full blown war with iran? There were protests against Iranian influence recently and protests against the Iranian government in iran and the USA galvanizes the nation by assassinating a hero of the iran-Iraq war. Obviously he wasn’t hiding and the USA was able to track him. Why choose to assassinate him at a time when Shia are mourning the death of 41 soldiers who fought ISIS? That’s not just stepping on a rake but putting the rake down and purposefully stepping on it.
He may be an Iranian hero, but he did all he could in his life to harm the U.S and Israel. He was a vile man that also helped Hezbollah during the 2006 war. The world is a safer place now.
What is wrong with your brain?
My brain is perfectly fine, you expect me as an Israeli to feel sorry for him? c’mon.
He did his job for his country. I just did a web search and there is not even a suggestion he was complicit in war crimes. The only difference between him and any US or israeli SOF commander is he happens to be Iranian and was very good at his job. Could you imagine if US special forces generals were held responsible for the war crimes the likes of the Contras did in Latin America.
I listen to Americans being respectful of Erich Von Manstein and Erwin Rommel, both of whom killed many American and allies and one of which was convicted of war crimes yet somehow this man is being called vile before he’s even in his grave. Sure he was your enemy and you were taught to hate him but there used to be honour in the military …. you show respect for opponents who served with honour and until you show me real evidence that he dishonoured himself I’ll show respect to him just as I treat you with respect when I reply to your posts.
Fair enough Wayne, I can agree with that.
US had also opened the pandora’s box in Vietnam by dragging Cambodia & Laos into the war. Yet US still lost the war. It was inevitable. Rebel boomer generals in Pentagon should have read history first before planning an assassination. Nevertheless they knew Iraq & Afghanistan wars are already lost no matter how provocative they act.
afghanistan is USA breeding ground for terrorists al qaeda. so the reason they are there is for more bodies for the meat grinder
and it seems to just be a continuation of operation phoenix used in vietnam when it comes to how USA forces operate in afghanistan
If USA thought iraq had WMD’s they wouldnt have gone within a thousand miles of the place.
You forgot the poppy fields….
the opium trade is just a happy by product, and i think big pharma got enough americans hooked on heroin from it now. seems to be a downward trend
Opening Pandora’s box is exactly what the bankers have planned and want. It will skyrocket the price of oil (and gold), milk their military-industrial complex and their bankrupt financial system – all while disrupting China’s mutually-beneficial BRI expansion.
As hard as it may seem, Iran should exert control and not give in.
The time for Iran to react, is when it hurts the US/Israel the most.
Patently, the US want’s war ‘tomorrow.
When Russia entered syria they knew it was a do or die with the possibility of a hot war with the USA becoming a reality.
When Iran strike they will be of the same mind. ‘we cannot afford to fuck this up. we have to be sure’
it might be a warning against iran following ISIS into libya and somalia, but Iran replaced this dead guy already and have stated the plans made are still going ahead
USA cannot afford another syria when they use their terrorist proxies in libya,
NOT the “US,” the talmudic pricks who have stolen the U.S. from its people. And don’t whine that the people vote for them. They do not. Every important vote in the country is nothing but Rothschild cabal controlled theater. All candidates of the major parties are owned by the cabal or they don’t get their names on a ballot. If an outsider actually breaks in, the cabal owned media simply lies about the vote count. The people are dumbed down by the government schools and kept mum by the government police state, all owned and operated by Mossad.
Unfortunately its a fact that 96% are dual israeli citizens, ergo Israel has the US on a leash. So when the dog owner gets whacked, so does the dog.
If you mean those in power chairs in the government, you may be correct but if you mean to tie that to all the citizens you are nuts.
Do you have a reliable source to check ” 96% of congress are dual israeli citizens ” ? Thanks. P.S. any number for the senates?
Although you are very nearly completely right, I wish I could agree, but cannot. When you see posters in peoples yards with the name of one of these clowns, you can bet they voted for them. So people DO vote for these assholes. How many in the US have seen Trump 2020 flags flying with the stars and stripes? How many on these boards run their mouths about how Trump is great and saving us? I won’t argue that the vote that is recorded may not be the same as cast, that the electoral college is corrupt or that the one selected may not be the actual one elected…but regardless people do vote for these bastards. Go to Twitter and look at some of the comments. How many are saying Trump didn’t go far enough? How many call Iran a terrorist state? Plenty. The people in the US are not innocent, and they damn sure are stupid. When people get smart and refuse to vote for anyone but decent people, that’s when the people have awakened. Voting for the least bad option has not worked, because they are in reality all the same…or as you said, they wouldn’t even be on the ballot. BTW, the talmudic pricks are not the worst. Those so-called born again fundamentalists Zionists are far worse. If Trump ends up dying or leaving office, Pence will come in and then the SWHTF. If the American people were truly aware, they wouldn’t put up with the crap of the last near 40 years, but we tend to believe it all…as usual. Voting is a scam and the people should not participate.
Sure seems like a cult. Having loved ones who are “abducted” or “inducted” into a cult, mentally/emotionally/spiritually, it is an awful feeling trying to reach them to no effect. The fact that it can so easily (although not painlessly) affect the status (and very existence) of this maligned, malicious state of our nation (talk about a national security crisis! We’ve been in one since at least JFK assassination, far back to Wilson and WW1 and to the Civil War.)
The people have the power to convene a grand jury and impeach the whole lot of ’em, proper! Aren’t there failsafes available per our Constitution to the effect of something similar to this (short of directly using our 2A)?
Yeah, but someone in the gov has to initiate proceedings. That is not ever likely to happen. Hell, the fucking courts have made it illegal in the majority of states to even mention in court the jury nullification option. That was designed to prevent the gov from over using/over reaching using laws to do so. I’m afraid the constitution has been rendered null and void long ago.
The point is that it doesn’t make a damn bit of difference HOW the people vote – the cabal puts into the offices whomever they please. End of story.
I got the point. I agreed that how people vote means shit. But you are wrong when you say the people do not vote for them, they do. When the American people stand up and stop this madness, then I’ll say the people are not to blame. When have we ever seen Americans unite and stand up to our overlords ala yellow vests? You don’t see that in the US because we’re too lazy, stupid, apathetic and divided.
No, it’s because the people came from all over with a multitude of different cultures, all losing their ancient roots and basically “drifting”. Rootless thinking is essentially the same as childish thinking. This is why the “dollar culture” came into existence (with a lot of talmudic prompting), which is about as shallow as it gets.
Two other reasons for our police state without much real opposition: 1. The protestant nonsense of everyone creating his own religion guarantees that there will be no cohesion in society. 2. There are more satanic oriented freemasons undermining Christian civilization in the U.S. than in all the rest of the world combined.
The people vote for them. Those political campaigns are full of fools. They get all excited and cheer and applaud at all the common places and platitudes their candidates vomit. And when there was a third-party candidate, most did not support them. Most people don’t want to recognize it, but the problem is the system.
How many times must it be written that their has not been an honest vote for an important office in the U.S. in decades. The cabal with its kept politicians and its wholly owned media just play a little theater and call it an election. Enough of that bullshit about the people’s vote. Most of the people keep trying to figure out just who it was that voted “that way” because no one they know did.
Which is why I said it’s a scam and the people should not participate.
Most people in any nation, and the U.S. is not unique in this respect, care enough about their own country to find it very difficult to believe they are being manipulated by their government, especially in their vote. It goes against human nature. It’s called cognitive dissonance and the real rulers use it constantly via their controlled media. Those of us who see the plot fairly clearly are few as a result.
If you are going to blame the victims for this then be honest and blame those in every Rothschild cabal controlled nation (most of them) for the same thing. Their most constant manipulation of thinking is the nation against nation crap which is nothing but the ancient tactic of DIVIDE AND CONQUER. Honest people need to JOIN against the cabal, NOT further its tactics.
100% true! Right on brother! im with u!
youre right! The US does want war! Specifically with Iran! It wants oil prices to go sky high which will also destroy China! There is much more to this than meets the eye!
All the Chess pieces are in place! Venezuela is Blocked (cant ship to China) Iran gonna block itself! Thus Iraq and Saudi Blocked! Thus NATO kicks in! US and Russia will be the only oil rich nations exporting oil at super high prices (including Canada) This is Chess and Iran reacting is exactly what the USA wants! Iran will give it to them on a silver plate! Iran will have all of its refineries destroyed, its already in poverty! With this action China is screwed! How can China trade and manufacture when oil is scarce and at sky high prices! i told Everyone Venezuela is about China! Iran is about China! What if its true, What if the USA does (like Russia) have $1 per shot lasers? What good are ballistic missiles? What good are planes? Besides terrorism, what can Iran do? Fuck oil prices? USA wants that! Iran has no cards to play here im sorry to say!
oil already spiked, more people who learn this and get hold of some profit, less profit for the warmongers to continue their wars
I wouldn’t call the about 3% increase a spike but it will definitely continue increasing until (and if) things settle.
3% is a good return for 12 hrs investment already
That’s not really how it works since the oil price per barrel fluctuates daily by a few to several points. It’s what to come that will determine any spike.
First Iraqi force has to stop movement of US force between Iraq Nd Syria. secound acquire Air defence system from Russia Asap. 3rd increase military contact with Russia and also guve Russia atleast 2 bases one at the border with Kuwait and other on the border with Syria near alqaiam. or if its possible near the border with Syria in altanaf. and fourth also if its possible guve Russia a base near the border with Syria Nd Iraq in semalka crossing. like tgis Iraqi can cut off movement of US and Russia can keep eye on thier movement to gather intelligence. but Iraq has to do Asap befire Zionist cunt prevent that and create mess in iraq
First Iran have to close Hormuz…then US troops only can be supply by air!…2º Ask to foreign troops to leave Iraq included German troops among others…3º Wait the next US movements..
Iran just needs to place their long range air defenses close to Iraqi borders… and announce a bounty for every killed american in Iraq…. so then.. games are on
deepState/ZioCon trap for Trump… i dont agree that he needs a war to survive impeachment. this was just done without his knowledge, performed by Pompeo as former head of CIA…..
I don’t believe that for a second. That would mean that he was coerced into everything he has done in regards Israel/Iran/Syria. He was talking this shit long before he was elected. JCPOA was on his hit list as well as Iran and that was made absolutely clear before his selection, as was the Jerusalem embassy move…and that was long before PompAss. His only contradiction is sanctions on Russia…which he was only too happy to engage…no vetos. Tell us all who is the deep state. Then tell us who backs Trump. Those lists have the same names on it.
Trump = The Joker he couldn’t had made it more mad then this
The mullah’s are crying as we speak. The only things the US opened was their tear ducts. :-]
They certainly are my friend
Why don’t you two dumb fucks get a room and get it over with?
wonder if this is how mad a liberal feels when Trump tweets something. because he has managed to really piss me off on this one
Reflecting on what has taken place, the question of who benefits and in what way leads to several possibilities.
1) The movie Sum of all Fears opens with the Russian President taking full responsibility for ordering a military action in Chechnya when in fact it was rogue elements within the Russian military that carried out the operation – the President claimed to give the order to give the appearance of being in control. Is Trump doing the same? Possible but I have many doubts this scenario is what happened.
2) Trump ordered the attack to escalate the situation with Iran to please AIPAC and appear tough given the looming election 11 months from now. This does not fit with history as Trump has barked a lot but actual actions have been muted or symbolic – the Missile strikes on Syria gave the appearance of retaliation but caused minimal damage and loss of life.
Trump also called off an attack on Iran he had ordered with only minutes to spare – this retreat is very significant given the MSM spinned the Aramco strikes and downing of a US drone as Iranian aggression challenging the US in the ME that cannot go unanswered.
But the assassination of an Iranian senior commander is a major and highly provocative action that makes it stand out in stark contrast to Trumps handling of ME affairs. Also, I would think Trump getting into a major war with an enemy capable of fighting back in an election year would be a huge risk for re-election – mostly downside risk. Trump is projected to win the 2020 vote to secure a second term, Trump would not want to put that in jeopardy. Like the first scenario this scenario is also problematic.
The third scenario is sort of the 3D chess version but has enough merit to consider, particularly given a senior PMU commander was also assassinated, ensuring Iraqi outrage.
3) Trump wants US troops out of the ME. Do something really provocative but surgical like an assassination to unite the region against the US presence. If Trump is hitting a wall against the Deep State in trying to get out of the ME, do an over the top deep state move that will get the enemy to unite and push the US out. Trump has a history of giving the appearance of acting under orders of the deep state but does so in two ways, both extreme – either underwhelming results but lots of bluster, or overbearing and high handed – force nations to seek alternatives to US controlled global institutions and US dollar.
The assassination will have consequences that US planners would certainly anticipate such as return to the days of open insurrection against the US occupation in Iraq, although it will be much worse this time around. US troops returning home in body bags will give Trump the leverage to pull out just as Reagan pulled out of Lebanon in 1982 when 180 US service members were killed in a single attack. The troops would be returning home in time for the fall election campaign and Trump can tell his base he did as he promised and brought the troops back home.
Let us see how this pandora box like escapade plays out…
Good thoughts, especially point 3! Here’s another one. Top economists see a serious downturn in the cards in the next say 36 months. If Iran starts a war all economic woes can be blamed on Iran, and people would buy that.
Actually history has shown that the incumbent president gets blamed for bad economic times regardless of whether or not they contributed to the economic downturn. The public would also see the US as partly to blame for any war with Iran.
Trump will want to delay any economic downturn until at least end of 2020 (after the election). The economic times are pretty good, at least on the surface, and that should give Trump his second term.
After the election, the crap can be allowed to float to the surface.
The economic times ‘are good’ only because those fudging the numbers say so. Their numbers on the economy…from employment to growth, are massaged and manufactured. The reality is that there are massive store closings, automation replacing people, factories are downsizing and/or closing, the debt has gone astronomic and we continue to lose parity compared to inflation. BushCo said the economy was going gangbusters as others were seeing a cliff coming. It was only apparent to Americans after the fact. It makes no difference at any rate because Americans believe whatever that boob on the tube says.
You laid it out well. Yes, economic data has decoupled from reality some time ago such as true inflation and unemployment rates and that is why I qualified my statement as being good only on a superficial level.
And yes, apparently large portions of the public buy into the MSM B.S. … but a lot of people are waking up….
I pointed that out on point 3 about 24 hrs ago.
Can you point out the comment. I would love to read it. Good that others see such a possibility – more than meets the eye ;-)
I thought this US-president was one of the less bad guys up to now. He did not start any war, unlike his predecessors. Now he speaks of “victims of terrorism” created by Gen. Soleimani et al and the Iranian side – WTF . It is nonsense. Because the US-deepstaters have created the most brutal killers of the 21st century called ISIS. There is proof enough for such an assessment. Mr. Trump, please shut up. This attack was a very bad idea. You have lost a lot of followers by this coup. You give advantage to your enemies in your homeland (DNC and it’s criminals). This was a political assassination. Probably inspired by the Israeli warmongers who wish to force the US-Americans into a huge conflict. And there will be many victims on US’s side next time, either way.
Do the best you can do in this explosive situation: Leave Iraq as soon as possible, and then of course you have to leave Syria too (just as you demanded several times before), and then everyone could see that the Yanks finally lost everything they had invested in this Middle East area adventure in order to help to destruct it and leaving 100s of 1000s of dead and injured Iraqis. Be shure: They will never forget and are out for revenge!!! But things could go a better way after having taken your troops home and leave ME in peace.
The middle east and the planet will never be in peace until Israel and the Yinon plan are gone.
Most of us knew who he was, a PR guy an actor, this kind of behavior was expected.
One day you will find out the real reason this happened! Iran is a puppet state!
Why are my posts being blocked and access through discus being compromised? My account was hacked earlier. What’s going on.
If you look at all my previous posts there not mine, my account has been tampered with why because bi criticise the Yanky. ?
israel, the illegal settlement in palestine is the root of all troubles in the middle east and thus the occupiers need to be terminated and there shall be no place for those criminals anywhere in the world and that includes the jews embedded/entrenched in different societies around the world – london, paris, hamburg, buenos aires and so on. they just have to be terminated.
So whats next brothers???
Ideally Iran would probably like to kill a US general or high-ranking commander in return (a like-for-like attack), as this would be seen as a proportionate response. However Iran could also just sink or capture an American oil tanker passing through the straights, as they’ve already proven they can do this last year.
I think Iraq is also about to turn bloody again, as Shite militia will start up the insurgency again. It’ll be Iraq circa 2004-2008 again sadly. The only way to prevent this is for the Iraqi gov. to kick the US out of Iraq.
Assassinating Iranian officials is a sure sign that Iran is doing the right thing. Don’t change the course now! Soleimani was a warrior, he knew what he was doing, he knew he had been a marked man for a long time, he knew he was likely to lose his life at any moment, but HE DID IT ANYWAY. Like a real soldier would. There would be no decency in the world without people like him, so give him credit. US/israel on the other hand has shown yet again that they care nothing for International Law, or immunity of diplomats, or any concerns about drone assassinations. It is possible that israel conducted this strike and US is just taking responsibility (like a good slave that they are) so counter strikes against israel would not be productive.
You read my mind. For me it was all the recent assassination attempts by Israel in Iran itself. This is in the same vein and you could very likely be right. This does not mean the US is not part and parcel…we enable this war junkie with all the drugs they need or want…including American lives.
I urged everybody involved in this killing to show restraint and talk it over with each other and think the other part also have feelings.
