The US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) have captured most of the village of As-Susah in the Euphrates Valley from ISIS. According to pro-Kurdish sources, the SDF has repelled a series of ISIS counter-attacks involving car bombs and thus it’s now about to establish a full control of the area.
The SDF advance was actively supported by US-led coalition airstrikes. According to pro-government and pro-opposition sources, these strikes caused a large number of civilian casualties. Washington denies this claiming that all targets were belonging to ISIS.
Wait, I know I’ve been here before – where’s that damned black cat?!
So now they can go home, right?
They will save a couple of IS ‘strongholds’ for later
Don’t worry. The next time there is a sandstorm, Daesh will take it back again!!
Exactly as you predicted it. It happened.
SDF recovered ? SDF attacked ISIS ?, and the result of all of this was many civil deaths….WOW !
You have to wonder about the intelligence of the Kurds, the US will dump them just like they dumped ISIS and al Qaeda. Then where will the Kurds go?
