On December 6, the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) announced that their fighters had repelled several new ISIS attacks on their positions in the eastern Deir Ezzor countryside. The attacks were reportedly launched from the terrorist group-held pocket in the middle Euphrates River Valley.
“Our fighters were alerted and foiled the attacks,” the SDF media center said in its daily press release.
More than 88 ISIS militants were killed in the failed attacks, according to the SDF media center. Most of the militants were reportedly killed by US-led coalition warplanes, which conducted several airstrikes on positions and vehicles of the terrorist group.
A day earlier, the SDF claimed that their fighters killed 228 ISIS fighters while repelling similar attacks between December 2 and 5. The ISIS-linked news agency, Amaq, didn’t deny the US-backed group’s claims.
“Most of the militants were reportedly killed by US-led coalition warplanes, which conducted several airstrikes on positions and vehicles of the terrorist group”.
All the militants bar one or two are being killed this way, it’s not the Arab or Christian militias doing the killing, or the Kurdish SDF, just US and Iraqi airstrikes, French and Iraqi artillery, Iraqi ground forces assisting the useless Arab and Christian militias, and a few very brave US special forces who might appear on an Isis TV channel near you real soon, [hopefully]. Gee I said yesterday that there have been no Turkish military deaths in Syria since march this year, 75 KIA until march and none since then, 9 months with no deaths, and now it seems the SDF are also having a really good run of luck concerning their casualty numbers, that’s if you were stupid enough to believe it that is, I’m not quite that stupid. You can always tell when things are going badly when they start hiding the true casualty numbers, things must have really started going badly for Erdogan about 9 months ago, and the US about a month or so ago, unless of course you do believe in a run of good luck, and I don’t.
“According to the official media wing of the Syrian Democratic Forces, at least 300 fighters from the Al-Raqqa and Al-Hasakah provinces were redeployed to the Hajin front in Deir Ezzor to provide necessary assistance in their ongoing operation.” Hajin now half taken by SDF?, but they do not release their own casualty numbers. No news from ISIS, so I think they are not doing well. :) May have to do with Daesh dirtbags being easier to spot in the cooler months ( infrared spotting works better) ?
Well they have. I have seen funeral pictures a few days ago.I also have seen numbers given by ISIS.
Nut true. Very spread information.
Some guesser like me would say the losses by ISIS might be done by taken half of Hajin – And to cover the rest, ISIS had and has to redeploy in the almost open fields east and south of it having not much cover.
I wish I had a small drone and a camera there.
