Other Kurdish sources reported that the SDF has captured the village of Abu Hardub on the eastern bank of the river. Moreover, the sources claimed that the SDF has started an attack on the strategic town of Hajin . However, these claims have not been confirmed by any official source.
Meanwhile, the ISIS-linked news agency Amaq reported that ISIS snipers killed a fighter of the SDF around the village of Abu Hamam on the eastern bank of the Euphrates. ISIS fighters also shelled several positions of the SDF in Abu Hamam with mortars, according to Amaq.
The SDF will likely face a strong resistance from ISIS fighters in Hajin, as the terrorists are currently besieged in the town and the region around it.
