It appears that the New Love between the Kurdish leadership (US) and Saudi Arabia (ISIS ) is easing the path to a fake SDF victory in Raqqa and the ISIS terror gangs controlled by the Saudi’s and the US are being deployed to slow down the liberation of the SAA in Deir Ezzor.

mark123456

We have to fight them anyway, we’ll just kill them all.

FlorianGeyer

Indeed the Syrian Government has the sovereign right to arrest and expunge all terrorist forces, foreign and domestic, who are engaged illegally in Syria.

Hayden

You lost that right long tome ago when US started to build bases. Plus your not fighting terrorists and the world does not see them as terrorists you would lose your PR and Russia does not want to drag it out like a few idiots like you think. SAA doesn’t have the strength to control and expunge everyone out of Syria. You already legitimated them also hahaha.

mark123456

cry more, zionist pig lover

Barba_Papa

He does have a point. The SDF has American backing, the world sees them as heroes and it has become quite powerful in its own right. The SAA is hardpressed to take on ISIS, or Al Nusra. Or both at the same time. Let alone the SDF as well.

Also Russia has shown itself to have no stomach to take on the US directly. They’re not that crazy. It did not stop the US cruise missile attacks, nor the US air attacks around Al Tanf. Chances are that once ISIS and Al Nusra are defeated and a reasonable SAA presence in East Syria has been established Russia will declare victory and tell Assad to suck it up with a major Kurdish semi-independent state in Northern Syria.

Anton

ISIS has lost most of its forces in combating HezBOLLAH+IRANIANS+IRAKI forces but NOT in combating against Kurds.

mark123456

I and a lot of other ppl see saa as heroes too. Its subjective, its all good. Zionist piglovers not welcome here tho and i will call them out!!!

mark123456

I was not talking about kurds anyway that zionist idiot didnt understand me i said isis can flee from raqqa, we will just kill them ourselves then (aka the saa and its allies). Yeah we probably lost raqqa and albab and jarablus, shit happens. But the syrian government and its friends will not give up on taking any inch of land they can back! So zionist lovers can suck it.

I dont agree russia are balless, putins diplomacy is pretty good and measured and tempered, its just that both the us and russia have to give and take here and there, cuz its a v delicate situation with 2 nuclear armed powers.

cOMPLETE WITH ABORTION RIGHTS!

Alex Black

You might think so, but the US build bases it abandons all the time, just look at iraq.

Anton

you must differenciate between Tactic and Strategy

Alex Black

I do, tactics are building bases to supply Marines and the SDF to fight Isis, the strategy is ‘don’t meddle where you don’t belong’ and avoid keeping troops in Syria. Long term, US isn’t staying there.

Anton

Saudi organized hundreds of Syrian-Peace Conference between 2011-2016, NEVER NEVER they invited a single kurdish Person or political -group.

Anton

Kurds wil be fighting ISIS(or similar to ISIS) forces in undifinite future(and futures). Don`t doubt it. Read the history of Middleast before commenting about it.

Alex Black

ISIS is finished, it is really a matter of time, weeks, month. The new game is to prevent the so-called Kurdish state from seizing vast parts of Syria. The reason for the Saudi/Kurdish agreements is the clear path for an oil pipeline to Europe. The objectives of destroying Syria as it was have been achieved. Now the head chopping funding will dry up and construction will begin. Next Iran/Saudi Arabia front to be announced.

Dustil schmit

More like to antagonize turks and qatar more likely.

Dustil schmit

They didn’t abandon the Iraq kurds what make you think they will do same to Syrian kurds? If i had a guess iranian kurds and iranian turkmen (hell they would fight each other) would be used to destabilize Iran in case of an uprising.

Alex Black

That strategy is difficult because it must be balanced against Turkey, who will not put up with too many weapons going to the Kurds. In the end, arming the Kurds could prove more costly than staying out of it.

adam77

Some yes, some no. ABORTION RIGHTS FOR RAQQA THANKS TO YPJ!

Hayden

That explains the RAPID advance by SAA into Tabqa oil field rights? New love between ISIS and SAA?

FlorianGeyer

The SAA and allies are fighting hard fore very inch of land occupied by the captigon addicts of ISIS .

gold37

Look at how easy they are letting them into the Old City lol…this is a joke!

mark123456

they are not putting up a fight at all, I heavily suspect the US and CIA whores have already made a deal with them to evacuate south and go to dez and palmyra

Alex Black

The bulk of the isis force left, what is there now is for show.

Jacek Wolski

This ain’t no joke, this is war.

gold37

that’s why it’s a joke…

Jacek Wolski

War is nothing to joke about.

Jake

Sure is if you’re profiteering from it.

Edit: Spelling

Jacek Wolski

Neither myself, friends nor family have profiteered from war. But they have fought in wars to defend their countries from NATO and American aggression.

gold37

Mate, do you even get in what context my comment was about. War is a reality, you can live in your little bubble if you like, that is your position, and I have mine, ISIS is a joke in Raqqah, the offensive is not even an offensive, so there you go. It’s a joke!

Jacek Wolski

Don’t call me mate. I do not know you from a bar of soap. My family and friends have suffered the ravages of war and I stand by my comment. So we can go back and forth till you turn purple and blue, but leave the jokes to the comedians.

gold37

Which civilisation hasn’t suffered from war? What makes you so special? Raqqa ‘offensive’ is a JOKE!

Jacek Wolski

Swell…… go play with your LEGO blocks.

gold37

Lefty, respect your elders. You don’t belong in a realist world, you see the world in a perspective and I see at in another, lets keep it that way, frankly I am too busy for this. Have a beer, I will have another and wasalamu alaik. :)

Anton

ISIS Terrorist massacred tens tausends of Kurds in a cruel and unhuman way. The kurds must uproot Terrorist everywhere in Syria&Irak.

Alex Black

then why did the SDF join with saudis?

Anton

You stupid cow SDF similar to ISIS are geographically enclosed that means they don`t have free access to Saudi Jahdia

Alex Black

Let’s not curse at each other. I may not think much of you but I am discussing strategy with you politely. If you want to pick a fight go to a bar, internet tough guys are not impressive.

Alex Black

WIth respect to the land locked nature of SDF, that really depends on how syria gets partitioned. There are other kurdish regions in Iraq, as well as armenians who are basically kurds. You are playing fast and loose with definitions of land locked. The truth is al tanf was a pipeline land grab.

Loveyou

The fall of Mosul and Raqqa is basically the beginning of the total end. ISIS made millions of dollars from these two cities every day by selling petrol and charging taxes. The ISIS do not have enough areas and population to sell their oil to and also to charge taxes. Which basically means they will be totally gone with two to three months max. After that they will go on terrorists attacks on civilians including in Europe where many of them entered europe by the will of Merkel as false refugees.

Kristy Rain

‘overrun’ in this situation means: US Backed forces merely nodded/waved at ISIS checkpoints as they went through.

Isis militants are to be transported to Dier ezzor Or Yemen to bolster pro-gulf slaver monarch forces in their struggle to crush the Yemeni ppl

aeolius

It sure looks like US/Russia have drawn a line in the sand. At least south of the Thawrah dam. Kurds went down just so far for room to manouver but left the oil fields and el Russa junction on the plate. I would guess the Euphrates will be the dividing line with Kurds taking over ISIS positions above the river through Zor at least to al Busayrah. Unfortunately for the Syrians, Putin’s mischievous streak may force Trump away from this cordial understanding and open SAA/SDF warfare sans air power may be stumbled into.
