The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) repelled an ISIS counter-attack on their positions in the town of al-Susah in the middle Euphrates River Valley on January 26.
“In the morning, ISIS launched a large-scale attack on the frontline positions of our fighters in the town of al-Susah and around it, heavy clashes took place for more than 10 hours,” the US-backed group said in an official statement released by its press center.
US-led coalition warplanes carried out 56 airstrikes on the remaining ISIS positions in the Euphrates Valley in the last 24 hours in order to support SDF fighters. More than 82 terrorists were reportedly killed as a result of the airstrikes and the clashes on the ground.
Meanwhile, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reported that the number of people who have fled from the ISIS-held pocket in the Euphrates Valley since last December has risen to 30,600. The number includes more than 2,470 terrorists who were captured by the SDF.
Kurdish sources say that ISIS is witnessing its final days in the Euphrates Valley. However, the recent counter-attacks indicate that many members of the terrorist group are still willing to fight until death.

I had good gues about the civilians, but it would be nice to know from when to when coparing with the pocket and its seize too.
Even its not over, I feel a kind of happy about it.
I also do many comment here telling the usual evil stuf from enemies as well as less is rescued and many more civilians has died and Kurds tranport oil pr zipfiles to USA – or if not – The oil comes out by a tunnel under the Atlantic ocean.

I have to ask again how this fraud of “ISIS” is able to launch these supposed “counter attacks” when their supplies of ammunition, food, and other essential supplies was supposedly cut off months ago?
This is nothing but more bullshit propaganda put out to continue to make the false claim that the US is illegally in Syria to “fight terrorism”… The reality is of course that the US itself are the terrorists!
