US-backed Forces Seize Large Chunk Of Area Northwest Of Deir Ezzor City

AFP 2017/ DELIL SOULEIMAN

The US-backed Syrain Democratic Forces (SDF) have seized a large chunk of the Euhprates bank northwest of Deir Ezzor city, according to pro-Kurdish sources.

Advancing from the western direction SDF units captured as-Sawah, Zughayr, Hawayij Bu Musah, Huwayj Duyab, Muhaymidah and met with its counterparts west of Deir Ezzor Industrial Zone.

If this advance is confirmed, the entire area west of Deir Ezzor city will be freed from ISIS terrorists. This will allow the SDF to re-deploy additional forces to a frontline against ISIS east of Deir Ezzor where a notable part of the Syrian oil and gas infrastructure is located.

wow, that was quick! O.o

Florian N

Kinda like how SAA moved up on this part of euphrates, SDF moves down. Both captured the villages extremly fast after some fights on the front villages.

dutchnational

Likely there were not too many IS in those pockets and as far as the pocket to the north west, IS could try to evacuate through the SAA lines. Might there be a relation to the unconfirmed night assault on the SAA bridge?

Garga

You may be right about their numbers in the pocket, that’s about it.

Yes, that’s the only way. Don’t bother with a small thing named “Euphrates” in their way. I’m sure they passed the river by swimming. Their equipment can swim, you know.

Jens Holm

I think their troops there has been eaten up defending the other villages there. Fine only guars for kep.

BMWA1

No actual fighting

Deo Cass

SDF only pretends to fight ISIS which is SDF in masquerade. ISIS and SDF only fight the Syrian government forces.

Jens Holm

Someone must learn Your handicap helper dog to read.

Tom Tom

nice capitalization, Jen.

Terra Cotta Woolpuller

Seems your friends the “Assadophobes /Arabiphobias” are going to continue ethnic cleansing some more , murder rape pillage and steal that’s a US Proxies life for me !

dutchnational

While this has been happening, still unconfirmed reports claim SDF made its first attack on Omar fields and another unconfirmed SDF related site reports a night assault on the SAA bridge over the Euphrates.

If correct and the attacks succeeds, even if partially, the bridgehead will collapse.

Like I said before, time will tell all.

Lone Wolf

Even if SDF captures those al-Omar Oil fields … I still think that SDF will have to give it back … there is still a lot of politics coming their way … They will still have to negotiate with ASSAD … With Turkey on their heel … best to make deals with ASSAD .. US will not be around to help them all the time … US is a covert operation there … no one knows what US Special Forces have been telling Kurds there … but US already said they will not recognise Kurds Independence in that region …Kurds are only there to do US bidding… they are stretched out too … remember Russians were helping them before, then they switched partners …. time will tell I suppose …

RTA (Bob or Al)

Remember Syria have 1 magic card up their sleeve and that is the PMU forces just sitting and waiting on the Iraq / Syrian border..

Whilst I am becoming impatient (which is the worse thing to do in war), maybe the SAA are letting the SDF / ISIS fight each other, then will attack aggressively with the assistance of the PMU.

Jens Holm

Killing more Syrians is no solution. SDF not even might take Mullah Omar from You but ISIS as well as the zone north of DEZ.

Its a matter of letting the area have low priority as a take back and let those defenders of DEZ none liberated for years.

The reasons for that are understandable. Everybody can make a list of bad and good ones.

But we see and read it. Tabqa is a 100%. At DEZ its same thing. When SDF come with their fresh troops being blamed not to, they are airstriked and blamed taking oil. You are putting all dirty assumptions on them like Your non killing, blocking, killing civilians, has to obey any bunch of shitholes in Damaskus ans like that.

But You were hardly there with SDF taking 20% of the territory and est. 20% of the population incl. soldiers from it armed by mainly USA.

Those SDF havnt taken any territory from You and fx Omar isnt in Your possetion as well as that part of the riverbank.

Its also very difficult to see You have any backup for being like You are to the rest. If You have to fight so hard back with friends a lot is terible wrong in a lot of several brainpart. It might be the spine. You seemes not to be able to see the rest of the country and its people.

Tha solution is not KILL, KILL, KILL.

George King

SDF has shown its hand even before the current conditions on the ground with ethnic cleansing in areas where Kurds were before the 2011 outbreak of invasion by proxy armies of ISIS, AQ and the many other names being one and the same.

When the Syrian forces were approaching its infrastructure of the Dam on the Euphrates as were the SFD they were bombed by US/NATO to allow the SDF to capture the infrastructure/s, note uninvited and has been asked through the UN by Syria to cease and desist all operations in Syria. Just one example of many.

If not the Kurdish Syrian citizens per say but the various military factions has cast the fate that it shall reap by the end of the year.

Solomon Krupacek

pmu is not syrian card

George King

Ah, but it is by invitation a part of the Syrian coalition with the same concerns and part of the chorus “We will not allow another Israel in the ME”.

Jens Holm

Share, yes of course.

Lone Wolf

Nope more like telling YPJ to go back to their line of demarcation, if they want ASSAD to recognise them as autonomous region within the Syria federation … Militarily they are not gonna do well .. ‘cos as soon as there is a real clash betw. SAA and YPJ .. Turkey is gonna see an opportunity and take advantage at the border … Turkey is getting really belligerent with US … Turkey don’t trust US anymore … so they happy to do something … Erdogan ego is too big to just sit by and do nothing …

Jens Holm

What a strange remark. SDF`s are blamed non fighting. When they do, they are blamed that too.

They should give Omar to SAA. Well a minimum would be they have. Seemes like SAA prefare ISIS have it ???

Your remarks about the overwhelming power of Damuskus according to kurds and the Damaskus superioritors are far out.

When SAA has to have a bridge to cross their own river and the command is depended on russians and vital ground troops are from Iran and Hesbollah, most can see that the Mafia in Damskus is not the only deciders and in some matters are totally out as such.

Jens Holm

I see no reason for it should collapse if its not attacked. SDF dont dare to do it. But now its for football and can only be used in bad intensions such as an advance at Hasaka taking the federates.

Jonathan Cohen

ABORTION RIGHTS FOR THE OIL FIELDS!!!!

Lone Wolf

ABORTION RIGHTS FOR ALL THE OIL FIELDS OF THE WORLD ….!!!

They should have had Abortion Rights for Jonathan’s Mother, maybe she can do something about it still , like a Late Term Abortion!

I think Kurd is a brave nation because it produces a gentleman, saladin.

I think kurd is a great nation, because it produces amazing man, Our teacher the great Syakh Bouthi.

it turns out the Kurd are also a coward nation because it produces the rats SDF.

Lone Wolf

LoL … !!! That was FUNNY !!!

Jens Holm

Hard to be that old man. Some Salomon of nowerdays had to cut him in at least 5 pieces to make all happy there. Alexander the Great is only 2 :)

Assad Did Nothing Wrong™

No one falls for this low-effort propaganda. Oh wait, I should have continued reading past the third line. Got me good.

Floyd Hazzard

I maintain that the eastern bank seems to have been ceded over deconfliction lines.

Jens Holm

Yes. Damaskus has at least temporary biig problems mainly made by themselves. I might send them my TweakNow RegCleaner and and fx Defragler for elementary putting the most chaotic in line or at least in groups.

RichardD

You either have mental issues or are deliberately flooding these threads with your idiocy as a psyop. Either way you’re a head case.

Terra Cotta Woolpuller

There are no deconfliction lines that is something the US created on their own and they won’t like US soldiers coming back in body bags as this is where this is going. Do you think Russia and China are here for shits and giggles, then you have much to learn. US is losing it’s prominence and it’s allies are looking at suspending it’s place in NATO and the UN. This happens when you get exposed for war crimes and being the reason for the terrorism in the world, even the US manipulation in Catalonia is running into some stiff resistance.

Kell

Snatch and grab in progress.

Kell

Kurdish areas – what are they doing down here? Rhetorical question of course everyone knows whats going on, even their “Two Amigo’s” cheerleaders here. https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/78a3e3b7bd2e0c1d100ae57ebc8b38563a168f27a9d6f777e7f4515e14263413.png

Solomon Krupacek

expanding, like hafez assad in direction lebanon. karma is karma. this will happen also with kurds. today up, tomorrow down.

Kell

What part of Lebanon has Syria expanded to?

Solomon Krupacek

bekka valley. but he was stopped and expelled. the assad family is on reason of destroyed lebanon.karma is karma. now happens the same with syria.

Kell

Oh are you talking of ancient history when Syria sent forces to counter the israeli invasions 30 something years ago?

Kell

Yeah if its these 30 year old occurances you are talking about when the Israelis left the Syrians left and now Hezbollah rules the Beeka valley.

RichardD

Jen Holms and Solomon Krupacek both continuously spout the same type of stupidity. Could it be part of a psyop, or are they just both garden variety idiots?

Jacek Wolski

RichardD, you are showing your kindergarden age. So you like calling people names, stomping around and having a hissy fit. Did your mum changed your diapers today?

RichardD

If you’re in to reading their nonsense, that’s your problem.

Jacek Wolski

No, that is my prerogative ?

RichardD

They’re flooding the threads with incoherent rubbish and lies and your encouraging it makes you part of the problem.

Jacek Wolski

I’m part of the problem? ? Don’t be so selfish! You live on a planet with 7.6 billion other people, learn how to share! It’s not always about you matey.

RichardD

Yes, encouraging non stop incoherent idiocy degrading the discourse makes you part of the problem.

Jacek Wolski

What are you, the world police? ?

RichardD

You’re the one encouraging the idiocy, not me.

Terra Cotta Woolpuller

Why do you still have mommy issues is it she never changed your diaper because you’re always full of shit.

Jacek Wolski

Your reply is just white empty space ? Try again

Terra Cotta Woolpuller

Seems like the only white empty space is between your ears.

Terra Cotta Woolpuller

You should learn to do this hand gesture instead of curling the two fingers under the thumb place them on the Thumb, then you can learn the “Grey Wolf” sign!

Jacek Wolski

Nothing but white empty space. Must be a behemoth of a blizzard in your part of the world or you have wool pulled so far over your eyes you can’t see the world for what it is ?

Terra Cotta Woolpuller

Have never had a problem as seeing the world as it truly is, glad you admit is empty saves everyone the time of finding out. The only way you see the world is with your cheese cloth rose colored glasses still with rotten blue danish cheese still in the cloth.

Jacek Wolski

As an Australian, I don’t eat Danish cheese, you’re on your own there buddy. But I prefer Lurpak butter on my Australian bread. ?

Jacek Wolski

Mossad must have some filter over your comments. Racists, bigots and religious zealots are not welcomed in my part of the world. Now, try moving your crooked fingers and writing some imprudent thoughts. Remember, baby steps for beginners like yourself. I’ll send you training wheels if you’re incompetent.

Terra Cotta Woolpuller

Stop being a troll as I don’t say anything that would be considered racist , that might be the case with you. Have had no problem with dealing with them they don’t bother filtering me, had to teach them proper English, do you want to learn or is that above your pay grade.

Jacek Wolski

Not a racist eh? “I see Israel being destroyed as was foretold” Shall I mention your revulsion for Kurdish YPG? Go jump and drown in your Arab filth

Terra Cotta Woolpuller

Why don’t you look up what Henry Kissinger said and he stated that Israel would not last Ten years. Now as for the YPG/PKK both are terrorist groups and sorry don’t differentiate between any terrorist filth at all. Have a strong revulsion for those who try to revise history and facts , now why are you such a Hasbara troll and a racist mendicant.

Jacek Wolski

Hasbara troll? No…… Racist? No….. But I am anti religious establishment, which means ALL you religious types, I don’t discriminate against a religion just all, all they do is breed violence and vehement oppression. https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/ba0d29e71c739c8781a875c88a555c5de878dc35805b138be24dbc212beee60a.jpg

Terra Cotta Woolpuller

You are still trying and begging just shows you are more religious than you think only a zealot would act as you do.

Jacek Wolski

Here is something especially for you, I heard you are a fan of Haj Amin el Husseini https://uploads.disquscdn.com/images/c37ce4e9cefc6af7d92449e89668d20f543d83e3032989cc5e176a69c8836bd7.jpg

Terra Cotta Woolpuller

What don’t you like the old Roman Republic salute, oh yeah right your in a socialist cesspit and a member of the Black Block and a Marxist that’s a religion in it’s own definition .

Jacek Wolski

Rome reminds me too much of the good ‘ol USA. Never realised you were a fan? ? And if you want to take a page out of the Roman Empires history book, try and be more like Publius Aelius Hadrianus Augustus and be more of a humanist.

Jacek Wolski

Terra Cotta Woolpuller

What do you expect of the US they are pigs, but heard he killed himself not sure if it was over that , but who knows.

Jacek Wolski

I think we are becoming some sort of friends ?

Jacek Wolski

You have a strong revulsion for those who try to revise history and facts, and I have a staunch aversion for religious types. What a wonderful world we live in amongst fellow human beings, don’t you think? ?

Terra Cotta Woolpuller

If I was religious the argument iv’e given you would have been one with religion , and not logic. Your religion is the one all atheists follow seems as if you have painted yourself into a religious corner, and into a political corner.

Solomon Krupacek

30 years ago = not ancient, but before generation. in politics this is today. you personally talk about 100-1000 years history as present thing :DDDD so, assads destroyed lebanon, now is bechfire against assads.

Turkey may see some Kurdish factions as terrorists but USA may not.

A “Pentagon representative” told Sputnik

https://sputniknews.com/middleeast/201710091058081504-pentagon-daesh-us-arms-syria-general/

that “US forces in Syrian territory operate under authorities to combat terrorism”, but without stating what those ‘authorities’ are, or whether the International community regards such ‘authorities’ as part of widely recognized international law.

More significantly, the USA Military confirms very, very, clearly that they intend to remain in Northern Syria illegally.

“…[US forces] will continue to advise and assist partner forces as long as ISIS remains either a conventional or insurgent threat”.

The ‘partner forces’ at this point are Kurdish forces, for practical purposes. This is, de facto an extraterritorial invasion of non-Kurdish Arab (and other) territory by Kurds, and therefore by USA. Fighting ‘terrorists’ is the pretense for this flagrant breach of Syrian sovereignty by USA.

There will be an ‘insurgent threat’ in the Middle East for years to come, which the USA knows well. It can, and will, be handled by the Government of Syria. The USA will use this shabby cover to establish illegal military bases in North Syria, a cynical move to further encircle Russia.

RichardD

The days of the Jew world order being able to use their msm monopoly to white wash their crimes are over. With the advent of the internet and their failure to monopolize it. The truth is getting out and people are rejecting the lying Jew media and their swamp slaves in the “deep state” crime syndicate.

RichardD

Israelistan is looking like it’s going to have a lot of trouble once the Syrian government coalition reaches the Iraq border and begins the process of clearing the northern and southern borders of Jew world order terrorists:

““Kurdistan” is an existential threat to the Turkish Republic, but it also endangers the grand strategic designs of Syria, Russia, and Iran, which quietly agree that this pro-American proxy state would be nothing less than a “second geopolitical ‘Israel’” in the heart of the Mideast. It’s the convergence of Turkey and Russia’s threat assessments vis-a-vis “Kurdistan” that spurred the lightning-fast political reset between both sides.

Desperate Times Call For Desperate Measures

The Russian-Turkish rapprochement is a fundamental game-changer for undermining the US’ Mideast strategy because of the potential that it has to morph into a quadrilateral coordination platform between Russia, Turkey, Iran, and Syria. Moreover, the restoration of positive Russian-Turkish relations also allows for Iranian-Turkish ties to become strengthened too, given the shared interest that Moscow and Tehran have in fighting terrorism in Syria. The linking of the Russian, Iranian, and Turkish Great Powers is referred to by the author as the Tripartite, and an earlier article series for Katehon explored the broad geopolitical potential that this new power grouping has to reverse the destabilization that the US has wreaked all across the “Eurasian Balkans”. Additionally, it shouldn’t be forgotten that each member of the Tripartite has their own New Silk Road relationship with China, so one can expect for Beijing to use this renewed period of multilateral Great Power pragmatism to its world-changing advantage by seeking to advance the transnational multipolar connective infrastructure projects that are collectively referred to as the One Belt One Road (OBOR) vision.

All of this is a nightmare for US strategists, which is why they felt immediately compelled to act against the catalyst of this profound scenario forecast by stopping Erdogan in his tracks before he could take Turkey further down the path of multipolarity. US intelligence agencies, by the very nature of doing the job that they’re tasked to perform, obviously have influence within and access to the Turkish “deep state”, which was made even easier to acquire in this case because of the country’s NATO membership and its “Lead From Behind” position in the War on Syria. They accordingly took advantage of the antecedent cleavages in Turkey’s socio-political systems in order to encourage the coup plotters to prematurely execute their plans before they were even ready, assuring them that they’d succeed because the CIA would direct the entire operation from an island in the Sea of Marmara and even provide them with Erdogan’s coordinates so that he could be assassinated.”

https://www.globalresearch.ca/reassessing-the-reasons-for-the-failed-turkish-coup-attempt/5552635

RichardD

Where I disagree with the article that I’m quoting from is that I don’t think that a multi polar world is a problem for America. It’s a problem for Jewmerica, which is a twisted perversion of America run by criminally insane Jew psychopath Israel firsters and their collaborates who need to be gotten out of government and replaced with America firsters.

George King

I agree, in fact you could sum up Trump’s Presidential victory in promising what most thought was an be entry into a multi polar world which required good relations with Russia and China. Of course Trump has/had no ability to bring this about whether due to the deep state or being a fraud doesn’t really matter although many had hoped and voted for this vision. “Make America Great Again”.

One of many thoughts I had was a pipeline across the Bearing Straight (35 miles wide and shallow) down through existing Alaskan pipelines to the lower 48 states. The possibilities included eliminating oil wars and cost, closing down the expense of over seas bases and bringing back to the states the military to do infrastructure rebuilding, repair and new infrastructure to support renewable energies. The new infrastructure would support participation in the “New Silk Road” such as transportation links across the same Bearing Straight.

The potential was/is unlimited for the US but not for the existing transnational criminal cabal and the deep state or what ever term you prefer.

Kell

Yes the possibilities are endless, we could be exploring the stars but no – all that matters is Israel and more wealth for the richest people on the planet – with jews we all lose.

RichardD

A Jew free future is a better future.

George King

How did we get here, again? The following is known and used for capture by known entities globally as transnational criminal cabals.

Michels’ theory “The Iron Law of Oligarchy” states that all complex organizations, regardless of how democratic they are when started, eventually develop into oligarchies. Michels observed that since no sufficiently large and complex organization can function purely as a direct democracy, power within an organization will always get delegated to individuals within that group, elected or otherwise.

Using anecdotes from political parties and trade unions struggling to operate democratically to build his argument in 1911, Michels addressed the application of this law to representative democracy, and stated: “Who says organization, says oligarchy. “He went on to state that “Historical evolution mocks all the prophylactic measures that have been adopted for the prevention of oligarchy.”

According to Michels all organizations eventually come to be run by a “leadership class”, who often function as paid administrators, executives, spokespersons, political strategists, organizers, etc. for the organization. Far from being “servants of the masses”, Michels argues this “leadership class,” rather than the organization’s membership, will inevitably grow to dominate the organization’s power structures.

By controlling who has access to information, those in power can centralize their power successfully, often with little accountability, due to the apathy, indifference and non-participation most rank-and-file members have in relation to their organization’s decision-making processes. Michels argues that democratic attempts to hold leadership positions accountable are prone to fail, since with power comes the ability to reward loyalty, the ability to control information about the organization, and the ability to control what procedures the organization follows when making decisions. All of these mechanisms can be used to strongly influence the outcome of any decisions made ‘democratically’ by members.

Michels stated that the official goal of representative democracy of eliminating elite rule was impossible, that representative democracy is a facade legitimizing the rule of a particular elite, and that elite rule, which he refers to as oligarchy, is inevitable. Later Michels migrated to Italy and joined Benito Mussolini’s Fascist Party, as he believed this was the next legitimate step of modern societies. The thesis became popular once more in post-war America with the publication of Union Democracy: The Internal Politics of the International Typographical Union (1956) and during the red scare brought about by McCarthyism. “The Iron Law of Oligarchy” https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iron_law_of_oligarchy

RichardD

The real promise for a better future lies in the sequestered technology that the Jew world order is sitting on and is using to terrorize, enslave and exploit humanity, think 911, the surveillance state, and who knows what else they’re up to. Derived largely from the secret space program and all of the money that they’ve stolen to fund it. Life extension, space travel, the whole 9 yards.

I think that Trump is sincere, but with the legislature being completely subservient to evil Jews and their collaborators, as the Russian sanctions passing with only a total of 3 opposing votes in both houses combined shows. It’s just about useless for the purpose of implementing America First. And is clearly a tool of obstruction, not progress.

The problem is that America is the most Jew infested nation on the planet. To America’s and humanities detriment. This evil cult should be outlawed and these cultists gotten out of government, media, finance and academia.

If you haven’t read it. The Sakers article is worth going through. I’m almost wondering if he hasn’t been reading my comments here before he wrote it:

I am a daily reader of the Saker and contributing writers and coment contributions as well as many other sources (only way to sort the wheat from the shaft) in this era of communications.

Yes, there is a difference in harvesting resources under the auspices of bettering mankind as a whole rather than usury, pillage and destruction for greed, power and slavery.

“That there are men in all countries who get their living by war, and by keeping up the quarrels of nations, is as shocking as it is true; but when those who are concerned in the government of a country, make it their study to sow discord, and cultivate prejudices between nations, it becomes the more unpardonable.” — Thomas Paine, “The Rights of Man”, circa 1792
