Minutes after the start of the nationwide ceasefire in Syria, Jabhat Fateh Al-Sham (formerly Jabhat Al Nusra), Harakat Ahrar Al-Sham (US-backed “moderates”) and other “moderate opposition groups” launched a fresh offensive on the Syrian government forces in the province of Quneitra, AlMasdarNews reported.
According to the report, the “opposition” attacked the 4th Battalion Base (Tal Taranjeh) and Tuloul Al-Hamr in the Golan Heights. The move resulted in heavy clashes between US-backed militants and the Syrian army.
We rremind the US-backed group, Ahrar Al-Sham, has officially rejected the proposed ceasefire today morning.

That is why these agreements are foolish. It was also Lavrov, for some reason, who kept seeking out Kerry/U.S. to make this deal. Why? It’s like he wants to be known as a peacemaker or thinks he can win the Nobel Peace Prize. But it is impossible and unwise to get an agreement like this to stick when the rebels are like snakes, and the very country supporting them and helping start the uprising/war in the first place, is the U.S. for its own long-term agenda.
Lavrov pushed when Turkey crossed the border. The Russians are in a boxed in position. Turkey can easily kick them out of Syria, and Putin will not be able to support nor resupply his little dictator. Russia is being called on it’s bluff.

US is just trying to pass time till its next presidential election is over. The problem with them is that first they poke their nose in others matters illegitimately and then they take it on their ego. And then their ego takes 25 years to be satisfied like in Vietnam. I think US, not Russia has again indulged it self in same quagmire.
