On November 16, the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) released a statement claiming that 17 ISIS members had been killed in the recent clashes in the area of Hajin in the province of Deir Ezzor. According to the statement, the SDF also destroyed 7 warehouses, 24 vehicles, a security center and a number of other positions and facilities belonging to ISIS.
Despite this, ISIS was able to keep its key positions in the area and Hajin remained the biggest ISIS stronghold in Syria.
