On Sunday, the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) released 75 Syrian ISIS fighters who had been captured or had surrendered themselves during the Raqqa Battle, according to pro-Kurdish sources.
The fighters were reportedly released at the request of the Raqqa Civil Council in Ayn Issa in the northern Raqqa countryside.
Pro-opposition sources published the names of all the fighters who were released. It’s still unknown if any of them have been involved in war crimes during their membership in ISIS.

Meanwhile, clashes continued in Raqqa city, where SDF fighters killed 6 ISIS members in the Old Raqqa district in the center of the city and seized weapons and ammunition.
In Al-Dir’iya district in the western part of the city, 4 ISIS fighters were killed. 6 others were killed in al-Barid district in the northern part of Raqqa. SDF fighters also killed 7 ISIS fighters in al-Taibah district in the northern part of the city.
On the other side, ISIS fighters targeted SDF positions in Raqqa city with the AGS-17 30mm grenade launchers . Pro-SDF sources revealed that 3 SDF fighters were killed and others 3 were injured in Raqqa city in the last 24 hours .
The SDF has halted its advance in Raqqa city for now after capturing the southern districts of the city. The SDF is believed to be preparing to launch a new offensive from a new direction inside the city.

Somebody should make a certain inquiry that still hasn’t been seen on any blog or social media about Syria and clarify how many Arabs are really fighting in the ranks of SDF vs how many Kurds.

Sekualrism in warfare as well as other matters are about school, education, skills and hard work. You dont come in the top as incompetent or low comptetent arab. The structure is guerilla-infantery.
However USA has raised arabs by helping them more and better with weapons. That because of the Turkisk limitations and they need to be upgraded.
my point is that arabs in Syria are either with the Syrian Army or with the jihadists. There is not a “third” democratic way like the US has been trying to tell us from the start – those that they were calling “FSA” were for the utmostly largest part Al-Nusra.
This means basically that the US won’t be able to subvert the internationally recognized Syrian government without recurring to either fundamentalists (which Russia’s intervention has rendered unable to operate anymore) or the Kurds.
But using Kurds to “topple Assad” is a bad, bad option, as 1- Kurds aren’t interested (Of course until they are made targets of chemical attacks, but nowadays it’s very very risky for USrael such false flag operation) and 2- Turkey would be all mad about it.
There’s still the third way of direct US intervention, but that would put the world on an unreversable course towards nuclear holocaust, which is something nobody wants.
They are exactly the PKK and not anything else foreigners like ISIS many Kurds from Turkey joined ISIS.
The numbers of Democratic Arabs has almost been eliminated and are looking for ways to join the SAA and fight the land grabbing thieves.
The US is blocking them from joining the SAA forces the US is tracking these groups so they don’t join.
if that’s the case no wonder if they become targets of chemical attacks, which Turkey would do with extreme pleasure and the US would pin on Assad without hesitation. We shouldn’t forget that Syria has given all its chemical weapons to the UN, yet even a mental patient would understand that the CIA or whoever could access those stockpiles and use them to make appear that “Assad did it” because “the chemical signatures”.

What this reveals is that there is a deal going on and someone is paying to have these insurgents released. Some suspect Americans but my suspicion falls on the Saudis. They have money to burn and the desire to see their “boys” coming back home to Wahhabi mothership. They want as much fighting talent as possible back on home soil. Americans have no such need or interest. The price must be pretty hefty, I don’t see the Kurds looking after them and releasing them for peanuts. I imagine it will be about 1million each, maybe more, and at least two million for officers. The list of names is either bogus or a list of code names.
