Carrier strike group (CSG) is an operational formation of the United States Navy. It is centered on an aircraft carrier and a carrier air wing (CVW) of 65 to 70 aircrafts. It’s composed of roughly 7,500 personnel, an aircraft carrier, at least one cruiser, a destroyer squadron of at least two destroyers and/or frigates. A carrier strike group also, on occasion, includes submarines, attached logistics ships and a supply ship. Carrier strike groups comprise a principal element of U.S. power projection over the world’s oceans.
Apart frpom CVN-76, they all seem to be home. I wonder why?.

Their comfort level has gone down, the crews are all on verge of mutiny from the stress of being a sitting duck, protecting the carrier is a bigger job than lobbing missiles. It’s just a bluff and why stress out the boys for another bluff. All possible with Neocons running show. It’s hard to think like a psychopath and make a good guess.
Any information about CVN-78, the new Gerald R. Ford class carrier? I did a quick search, but the last info what I found is from 2017. Since then it’s moved to active duty or the status is not communicated…
For all the American bluff bravado and threats, they haven’t put a carrier in the Persian Gulf since Russia fired missiles from the Caspian sea into Syria. It didn’t get reported at the time, but within hours of the Russian missile strike, the whole 5th fleet left Bahrain and have not returned.
