According to the US State Department, the United States has delivered 236 artillery systems to Ukraine since the end of February 2022. In total, more than 88 thousand tons of weapons and military equipment have been delivered to Ukraine. The total amount of US military aid to Ukraine since the end of February has reached $21.5 billion. More military assistance was provided years before that.
US artillery supplies include:
- 142 towed 155-mm M777A2 howitzers and 36 105-mm howitzers
- 38 HIMARS multiple rocket launchers
- 20 120 mm mortars
According to the Transport Command of the US Armed Forces, Kiev received:
- more than 1 million artillery shells
- 108.5 thousand portable missile systems to combat armored targets
- 1.4 thousand portable anti-aircraft missile systems
- 15 helicopters
- 46 radars
- 10.2 thousand machine guns and pistols
- more than 70 million rounds of ammunition for small arms
- 26 patrol boats.
Heavy transport aircraft, including both military and those chartered by the Pentagon were involved to deliver weapons to the war-torn country. In total, they made 878 flights to Europe. 48 ships and 4,000 trailers were also involved.
