US Lacks Clearly Defined Military Goals In Ukraine

Defining strategic goals is relatively easy – the opponent needs to be defeated and/or submitted by any means necessary. However, when it comes to clearly defined military goals, particularly on a tactical level, that’s where things become a lot more complicated and problematic. One would think that the United States, with all its massive ISR (intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance) capabilities, shouldn’t have any issues to accomplish that. And yet, that’s precisely what American strategy in Ukraine sorely lacks. This is also despite the fact that Washington DC has a sizeable covert military and intelligence presence in the country, although one that’s limited to nuclear power plants after a Russian high-precision hypersonic strike left hundreds of foreign personnel buried deep in an underground bunker.

The US was able to manipulate millions of Ukrainians into hating their own kin, both within Ukraine itself, as well as those in Russia, creating the pool of manpower necessary to fight Moscow. However, this pool is draining fast and there’s no one to replace it. What’s more, millions of Ukrainians are now perfectly aware of the disastrous KIA/WIA/MIA (killed/wounded/missing in action) ratio of the Kiev regime forces, which is further causing them to dodge the draft by any means necessary. This is also making the deeply corrupt Neo-Nazi junta extremely unpopular, as the regular people are dying while government officials are either leaving the country or have at the very least moved their families abroad. Many are also routinely caught trying to escape with loads of cash, the origins of which they simply can’t explain.

During the initial phase of the special military operation (SMO), the US tried to use its massive mainstream propaganda machine to influence (or better said, trick) tens of thousands around the world into believing they should go fight in Ukraine. After all, the Russian military is “losing”, it’s “running out of everything“, its soldiers “suffer from poor morale” and other fantasies reinforced by movies, video games and other media where the “evil Russians” are invariably “bested by American heroes”. However, reality soon hit hard, quite literally, as it always does when one foolishly underestimates a country that has been crushing invaders for well over a thousand years. The political West should’ve listened to some of its own renowned military commanders to understand this. British Field Marshall Bernard Montgomery famously said:

Rule 1, on page 1 of the book of war, is: ‘Do not march on Moscow.'”

Unfortunately for Washington DC, that train left the station the moment it decided to cross all Russian red lines. Knowing this, one would think the US would at least try to precisely define its tactical military goals in Ukraine. This is also seen in the escalating total war that’s being waged against Russia. As the Kiev regime forces are getting hammered on the frontlines, the political West is left with virtually no options, leading to what can only be described as desperate measures. The sanctions have not only failed miserably, but have actually backfired, propelling the Russian economy to the world’s top five. Thus, hampering Moscow’s normal economic activity has become a major target for Western planners. There’s no other way to explain the escalating drone and sabotage attacks in Russia, as they have no impact on military operations.

And yet, this is just another strategic goal and can’t really cause major damage to Moscow’s economy, no matter how frustrating it is. To put it into simpler terms, it’s sort of like a mosquito bite for Russia. This also further reinforces the idea that there are no clearly defined US military goals in this conflict. Moscow has simply been able to counter every major move by the political West, be it on a strategic or tactical level. It has also invariably exposed the belligerent power pole’s infinite hypocrisy and double standards to the entire (actual) world, as demonstrated by the interview Fikile Mbalula, the Secretary-General of the ANC (African National Congress), had with the BBC. Namely, during the talk, Mbalula masterfully shut down the mainstream propaganda machine’s Ukraine narrative, among other things.

Although this may seem unusual to Western audiences, it perfectly illustrates the (actual) world’s opinion about the Ukrainian crisis. On the other hand, Russia’s goals have been very clear not just since the SMO started, but years before that. The intention was to prevent NATO from snatching Ukraine, as Russian leadership understands the belligerent alliance would use it as a springboard for its “Barbarossa 2.0”. The initial goal of the SMO was actually quite similar to the 2008 intervention in Georgia, where Russia was able to put a definite stop to NATO’s expansionism in the Caucasus. The SMO would’ve gone exactly the same, as the Neo-Nazi junta was forced to negotiate. However, as we all know now, the political West did everything to prevent peace, so the deal was scrapped as soon as Moscow kept its end of the bargain.

The result of such treachery has been catastrophic for Ukraine, exacerbating its already precarious demographic prospects. However, the Kiev regime simply doesn’t care, as its handlers in Washington DC are the ones making all the decisions. The Neo-Nazi junta henchmen aren’t planning to stay in the country anyway, as evidenced by the constant outflow of “their absolutely legally acquired” money to offshore accounts. As for the unfortunate Ukrainian people, they’re stuck with the US, as President Joe Biden himself stated, seemingly in a joking manner.
