US-led Coalition Is Working To Establish No-Fly Zone Over Northeastern Syria – Report

Illustrative image, source: en.wikipedia.org

On August 25, a source close to the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) told the Kurdish news outlet Bas News that the US-led coalition began deploying radar stations at its bases in the governorates of al-Hasakah and Aleppo as a part of a new plan to impose a no-fly zone over northeastern Syria.

“Imposing a no-fly zone that would possibly cover the areas from Manbij to Deir Ezzor requires the installation of such devices in many areas in norther and eastern Syria, epically in the airbases in Kobani and Rmelan, important two point, in which radars were installed,” the source told Bas News.

The source claimed that the decision to establish a no-fly zone over northeastern Syria is directly related to the recent developments, including the ongoing talks between the political wing of the SDF and the Damascus government.

“The no-fly zone is a step towards a stronger return of the U.S. to the Syrian file by consolidating the military presence of the international coalition, led by it [U.S.], in order to confront various parties, including Iran,” the source explained.

Several Kurdish activists confirmed that the US-led coalition had deployed radars in the SDF-held areas. However, the coalition has not commented on these claims so far.

US-LED COALITION IS WORKING TO ESTABLISH NO-FLY ZONE OVER NORTHEASTERN SYRIA – REPORT

The Trump Syria or the Assad Syria. Why US have bought Syria from Syrian nation or they have founded free space in Syria for military bases. LOL

peacelover

Wo es dunya k badshah hain. Jo chahen karain. They have no match in technology no match in economy no match in all human advancement researching. No match on the earth and no match in the space too.Entire europe china and russia cannot do anything wrong against their will. Now what u can do?

Rob

In the start of 2019 you will see the humiliation of US, UK, France and Israel and of their masters.

Jens Holm

Well we certainly can see You have changed honeur as well as respect to something else – So why not humiliations as well.

peacelover

The only solution to counter this blood thirsty bull the USA is to engage whole muslim population in education to higher and advance education in all fields. This is the vision of imran khan mahateer and Ali Khamenei.but this is a long term and permanent solution and we muslims like shortcutts.

Rob

Turkish, Syrian, Iranian and Pakistani engineers and scientists will jointly develop military hardware including civil and military airlines, fighter jets, helicopters, drones, ballistic missiles, air defence missile systems, tanks, multiple lunch rocket systems, warships and submarines.

peacelover

But this is a dream. You and me both can dream. Turkey Syria Iran aur Pakistan akhaty kam karain. Yeah lK khaab hai yar.And why u mentioned only military hardware but not space science Medicine agriculture industry and most important the strong economies like China ?

Rob

Readers like brief comments and long comments they skip.

Jens Holm

As long as You cant even see the change and progress SDFs would like to give as a try and be happy about it, You will stay low as You are.

You are all in the belt with higher temperatures as well as less rain. 1) by that is to stay alive by better food making as well as having enough drinking- and irrigation water. 2) You kind of assume Westerns and other will do nothing and devellop nothing.

peacelover

And readers also like reasonable and sensible comments and the comments containing utter impossibilities and daydreaming they ignore!

Rob

Of course.

Carne João Pasta

“..to engage [the] whole Muslim population in education.. in All fields”

Thank you for this comment. You think over and beyond to how Western Neocons and their ilk think, ie Rob’s comment to yours below. Not to single him out or implicate him as a neocon, but just focusing only on military aspect is not being thorough or doing justice to the middle Eastern people’s. This needs to be stated more and more, what you spoke to. True asymmetrical warfare, positive warfare via enlightened society. Beautiful, thank you for your insights!

peacelover

Thnx. But the prblm is that everyone on our side at this particular site want to engage the evil opponents only by use of severe force and with fierce High intensity of Russian and Iranian firepower.

Lena Jones

“Installations” can be bombed too.

Jens Holm

And damaskus can be a lake.

Lena Jones

And tel aviv can be an oven.

Jens Holm

I just tell, things goes both ways.

Lena Jones

Tell you terrorist chabad cousins to get the fuck outta Palestine!

Jens Holm

Never. Thats no solution.

I have no good one.

Lena Jones

Then bodybags it is.

Promitheas Apollonious

lets see what good will do to them when their time comes.

Jens Holm

You might need to be 150.

TheFreedomCycle

Best bomb them out of existence before they get too rooted

Travis Kelso

Yea probably not.

Rob

God helps those who help themselves. Russia, Turkey, Syria and Iran jointly eliminate the squatter’s bases by their hypersonic missiles. Then they should say we gonna investigate that attack has happened or not.

Israel attack US army and their ship and then say we gonna investigate. That is why US, UK and French regimes scare from Israel.

AJ

A no fly zone without a UN resolution is not even legal not that the US cares about such details!

Rob

US, UK and Israel are three big tumors on this planet earth.

northerntruthseeker .

A festering cancerous tumor….. And sadly the tumor is spreading its poison to other nations!

Pave Way IV

The U.S. planted that bulshit story with it’s ‘Kurdish sources’ precisely so you would react the way you did. It will probably be followed up with some MSM discussion here about whether we ‘should’ or are ‘allowed to’ or not. After the dust settles, the U.S. will do no such thing.

But the goal of the PsyOp has been accomplished anyway: everyone is distracted from CENTCOM’s REAL objective which is installing and providing Israel with direct, real-time radar coverage of central, eastern and northern Syria. They don’t mention that the long-range radars will link via satellite to both to Israel’s air defense network and to their air operations (for attacking whatever Israel wants to inside Syria). CENTCOM will deny this, of course. The no-fly zone will never happen, but the radars and other electronic eavesdropping equipment are equally egregious violations of Syrian sovereignty – all for the benefit of Israel. And the U.S. plans on keeping them there forever (or until they kill Assad).

How’s that feel, Votel? Is apartheid Israel really worth aiding and abetting any cost to the U.S., not to mention millions of lives in the Middle East? You pathetic f’king traitor…

Jim Prendergast

Reminds me of the 2011 debate “to bomb Tehran or not bomb Tehran” seriously debated in all the big magazines. Fluff! So what are they going to do?

Carol Davidek-Waller

The US presence became illegal as soon as Syria asked them to leave; as soon as they began protecting and supporting terrorists instead of eradicating them.

Tim Benz

They never had eradicated them, this is the irregular army of the United States, with arabic Israeli officers on the top. We re in the know.

Gregory Casey

The US presence was NEVER legal. It always was illegal.

Rob

US and NATO forces are squatting there in Syria. They don’t like President Assad then what they are doing in Syria.

Russia, Turkey, Syria and Iran jointly attack the squatter’s bases by their hypersonic missiles and then see that they are still staying there. Then they should say we gonna investigate that attack has happened or not.

Israel don’t care they attack US army and their ship and then say we gonna investigate. That is why US, UK and French regimes scare from Israel.

Joe

There is no such thing as international law if it’s against their agenda. Against China , Russia ,Iran etc yes…not them.

But one thing for sure, air Force is useless against Hez or Houthis type of warfare and US is no exceptions as seen in Yemen

Tim Benz

A no fly zone is the guarantor of a missile fly zone, as we had in the past in Libya and Syria.

Tommy Jensen

Will you sue them in court?

Gregory Casey

How dare America!!

Daniel Miller

A simetrical warfare will be effective vs the installations

Jens Holm

Very naive to reduce USA to 2 extra radars and some few extra missiles.

leon mc pilibin

Syria are the only party that can apply a no fly zone on Syrian territory.

Promitheas Apollonious

theoretically, yes. practically, is best to see what is happening on the ground rather than what in a perfect world would be happening or stand as law of the land. So what is left is to see how this problem will be solved when the time comes. To my opinion if the Syrians accept to give autonomy to the kurds then all this war was for nothing.

peacelover

Yes then the main problem solved. Autonomy should be given.

Promitheas Apollonious

I dont think so.

peacelover

then how u can get rid of this cancer in the heart of middle eastern anti american block?

Promitheas Apollonious

kurds are guests in syria and they been allowed to live in peace and the way to repay syria is to take a part of her? It is not in syrias best interest to lose her lands to the kurds.

peacelover

Iraq is a model for Syria to settle this problem. Giving them autonomy like Iraq is not giving them the lands.

matt

Kurds were in the area long before the arabs, so they are natives, not guests

Promitheas Apollonious

That was a very long time ago.

Jens Holm

AGAIN: There was no Syria in Aleppo and Raqqa provinces of the Osmans. Same for Iraq. there never was an Iraq before WW1. They had provinces like Kurdistan, Mosul and Diabykir, where Kurdistan and Diabykir were divided into Turkey and Iraq.

True some went away from Turkey, but they came to kurds already being there. So many arabs in Syria is a new thing too even many were there and many others assated religion, culture and mixted up.

You are lied for in several generations supoorted by created nationalisme of the worst kind.

You even blame kurds for having no state. Correct, but did You have one Yourself. Well same thing. You were runned by some Turkish upperclass of Konstantinople.

Promitheas Apollonious

You knowledge of historical fact seem to be kind of very basic and not very accurate.

I dont blame any one in the lines your mind is working. I speak fact you speak emotion so go back to the learning and try and put things the right perspective and based on fact in your mind then we can speak again. Until then try and catch up with reality and not some illusion you have in your mind.

matt

Soo? They are still the natives and they should be able to govern themselves

Promitheas Apollonious

no they not, but will not argue.

Laguerre2

Kurds are very recent in Syria, not ancient. Kobane, for example, even on the Turkish border, only became Kurdish in 1964. In Iraq and Turkey, they’ve been there a lot longer. Longer than the Arabs? Not in Syria.

matt

you have no knowledge of ME history, that is clear….

Jens Holm

Well, Syria has been in ottomans for many hundred years, and there was no Syria since 1258, when mongold destroyed the Badad Khalifat.

You compare that Syria with the one of today, but then You are wrong. If You insist, You should move Syria down, where it came from.

It was not half of Aleppo. It was not half of Ragga. It had no Tripolis coastline as well.

SO SYRIA GO HOME WHERE YOU CAME FROM.

By that You should take Jordand the Westbank and half of Israel but not the coastline incl. Lebanon.

Thats WAS where syria WAS WAS WAS.

What has happens is that those many Turkmen and kurds suddenly should be arabs.

Furthermore You did not even liberate Yourself as well as made your own borders. And by the way the oilwells south of Palyra as well as the mineralmines there is not Yours as well.

You not even know Your own history even its very well described by many very good sources.

Julian Clegg

Syria is a multi-ethnic state. Its minorities are not “guests.”

FlorianGeyer

Get rid of Israel and the Khazar squatters ?

BlueInGreen

You mean Autonomy to the Kurds?

peacelover

Yes. Best solution as it is in Iraq. To get rid of evil Americans.

Jens Holm

There are so many versions for being local independent. Power and tax are divided 50/50 in Denmark.

The purpose is among others that locals know better, whats local needed and by that also have to take in half of the tax.

We by local elections also can replace the bad politicians and try if some other are better. The same is for local administrators. We also can control the indcommin money better, because they cant go to Copenhagen and be stolen by corruption.

The Goverment runs the big country and international things and there are negosiations about who decides what.Thats often about money. Fx is a very big road or bridge a local or country thing if it inside a big local town.

The state pays for same minimum pension for all, but the extra needed like heating and glasses and small tours are local decided.

Bordercontrol is the police and taxcontrol as well as embasses and gaining trade. UN,Natoand EU are State things.

Jens Holm

Very optimistic. Everything seemes to be some big bang in that corner, but we dont know much more.

peacelover

I agree!

Jens Holm

I agree – a lot of but but and other possibilities for zones or not …

Jens Holm

No, they are not. If Adam was closed like that it was not visible.

gustavo

USA has already applied a not fly zone at al-Tanaf, even if Russia-Syria like it or not.

seawolf

So the Americans are all in in Syria. How Mr Putin calls them, our partners ? It could be laughable if it wasn’t so tragic.

Promitheas Apollonious

assuming of course, that real life and your fantasies, is one and the same.

seawolf

You promised that you will ignore my fantasies, didn’t you ?Never trust people who do not keep their promises…

Ma_Laoshi

It’s not just that, Putin *invited* the orcs into Syria for “partnership”. Busy though he is, one of these days could he please explain what he expected the Americans would be partnering on with him. Higher education? Clean drinking water? Or arming the moderates and bombing the legitimate government, like they usually do?

Lupus

ok now Russia needs to establish a no fly zone over the rest of Syria

Promitheas Apollonious

no russia if it does what her responsibility is the one russia undertook she must make all syria no fly zone, unless they have the permission of the government.

Bill Wilson

Yep, just like the USA to keep the Turkish planes on their side of the border.

Ray

Staged chemical attack in Syria will be filmed for international media to frame Damascus forces – Russian MoD

https://www.rt.com/news/436876-idlib-fake-chemical-attack/

grumpy_carpenter

Let them do it. The US is alienating Turkey …… they’re basically at war with Iran now and Iraq and Pakistan are on the bubble looking south regarding their support for the USA. Their going to be left with a landlocked outpost that’s going to cost a fortune to supply and is likely to be cut off from friendly air completely in the near future, as well as a hungry landlocked population to support. I don’t see the strategy of holding this position in the long term with a huge cost to the US taxpayer to support it.

What’s going to happen is the USA will follow this path for a few years but as they lose power and influence and ME states abandon them the Yanks will pull up stakes and throw the Kurds under the bus alienating even more states.

Promitheas Apollonious

The US is alienating Turkey ……

They appear they are, but are they?

Pave Way IV

It’s a toss-up. The U.S. has its own strategic interest in a pro-U.S./anti-Russian Turkey. But Israel and Saudi Arabia own most U.S. politicians. Turkey’s insistence on being an energy hub interferes with Israeli plans to control all Middle East energy exports. And the Saudis don’t like any other powerful Muslim nation interfering with their regional domination plans. The U.S. political and military psychopaths want to get the war started with Russia, but it’s hard to resist those giant sacks of shekels and riyals. Maybe WWIII can wait until the senator’s second home in the Hampton’s is paid for.

Jens Holm

Again non sense of the worst babling minus.

John Waddell

Pave Way’s comments seem to me to be entirely consistent with a cynical take on the reality we see. If you feel that strongly about it what is your conclusion as to why these events are happening?

Albert Pike

Could very well be all theater.

TS

take you pick… search engines are so fun…

Jens Holm

Hardly -For Syria.

If anything like that shoukd happend, the best thing for You would be a very big helmet, so You can hise Your behind as well :)

And now ladies and Gentlemen we see Albert Pike in opration turtle shield. And how do we know its him: There is a spade on his white flag.

Albert Pike

I agree Albert Pike was the worst Soldier ever, a hard contender to John McCain…

Jens Holm

Not at all. AKP are many steps in front of USA for doing that. So far for 14 years.

Pave Way IV

“…I don’t see the strategy of holding this position in the long term with a huge cost to the US taxpayer to support it…”

Look no further than appeasing and protecting Israel and Saudi Arabia for the Deep State strategy. The U.S. Deep State will borrow as much as it needs from future U.S. taxes and will spend whatever it takes from U.S. taxpayers today to destroy Iran. You know – “Support our troops” and such. It’s almost costing as much as the U.S. spends failing to destroy Russia. Imperialism is expensive… damn expensive.

Brad Isherwood

Rothschilds agents both sides US Civil War, Refuse the Rothschilds Central Bank charter. …get war of 1812 MIC makes the world go round, world go round…(Russian MIC play too! )

This war will be outted for the Rigged game it was, Just like Iraq and WMD. Hell….Russia’s been pummeled so hard from Sanctions. ..I’m surprised Putin even goes outside. Even China is playing the Sanctions/Tariffs game…

US punch everyone on the Planet and Nobody hits back?

Joao Alfaiate

The right man is in the right place! Finally!

putinbeater

McCain is only history.

Sinbad2

After he is buried, people will make a pilgrimage to his grave, and piss on it.

putinbeater

Not worth/fit for this step.

John Brown

It just means the racist supremacist global Jewish confederate slave empire dictatorship will go bankrupt and collapse that much more quickly. It is great for the empire to over extend itself, the more, the better. This is the trap that Russia and China have laid for the empire. Hopefully the USSA will increase its defence budget to 3 trillion per year or more. Russia and China also need to give the Houthis many Kornet and other Chinese anti tank missiles.

Jens Holm

You know nothing about the economy of ours. And what do You compare with – Your own – or what.

Tommy Jensen

Money is not a problem.

Rüdiger Preiss

I wouldn’t be so sure about that. Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Latin America etc. .. it all sums up and the little informed American Citizens at home are feeling the crunch.

Jens Holm

Money is no problem.

FlorianGeyer

That may be true but this is a problem I think.

” Here’s the arithmetic: one in three potential recruits are disqualified from service because they’re overweight, one in four cannot meet minimal educational standards (a high school diploma or GED equivalent), and one in 10 have a criminal history. In plain terms, about 71 percent of 18-to-24-year-olds (the military’s target pool of potential recruits) are disqualified from the minute they enter a recruiting station: that’s 24 million out of 34 million Americans. ( of fighting age) ”

http://www.thetruthseeker.co.uk/?p=175331

Redadmiral

When they need meat for body bags the rules will be overlooked.

Jens Holm

Thats a social problem not a military one.

FlorianGeyer

Any military needs recruits, ergo, any depletion of suitable recruits for any reason ,becomes a military problem Jens.

The UK Royal Marines are now going to allow females ( and ‘its’ as well I suppose ) to become combat soldiers. They will sleep in dormitory’s with the men BUT will have separate toilets and showers.

That’s really going to work well then Lol,Lol,Lol :)

” Those whom the Gods wish to destroy they first make mad “

Tommy Jensen

West have changed the recuitment. Before you had obligatory national service and the vision to defend your country.

Western countries changed that into a professional army where only voluntary young men and women are contracted and willingly sign to obey all orders.

Globalism and NWO was decided by the Cabal as only a professional army will invade and fight and commit atrocities in foreign countries for money.

The Western national armies so became International paid mercenaries.

FlorianGeyer

I would agree with that Tommy and that is why so many have mental health problems when they leave those armies.

grumpy_carpenter

It never is …… until it is.

Jens Holm

Thats non sense. Do You really think Your possible options has any realisme.

grumpy_carpenter

Yes I do. Look at a map, the area in NE Syria that the USA is occupying in is landlocked. The USA can currently supply the area overland via Iraq and Turkey.

The USA is currently in a trade / sanctions war with Turkey and their relations are going south FAST.

In Iraq Muqtada al-Sadr took the largest number of seats in the Iraqi election last May and has formed a government. In March Sadr called the Green Zone “a bastion of support for corruption” and in his victory speech he said “The U.S. is an invader country; we do not allow it to interfere”

If Turkey denies the USA overland access to NE Syria, which considering the USA is supporting the Kurds at the same time as fighting an economic war against Turkey is highly likely …… then Iraq led by Shia supporting and USA hating Muqtada al-Sadr has the USA by the nuts.

Theoretically the USA can supply NE Syria by air over hostile air space but in reality consider the costs of supplying not only US forces by air bridge but keeping the economy of a huge region with millions of people supplied by air transport that has to be escorted by fighter jets. The costs are expensive enough keeping US forces supplied in the desert using land transportation ….. the cost of an air bridge to support US military personel as well as supporting the civilian economy will be astronomical.

grumpy_carpenter

Yea I do.

First Turkey was denied membership in the EU, it’s fine for the Turks, the second largest standing military force in NATO, to defend the EU but the Turks aren’t good enough to be allowed into the club.

Second was the coup attempt a couple of years ago that the Turks attribute to the USA.

Finally there is the current spat over the US “evangelical” the Turks are accusing of being a US agent which caused the USA to impose sanctions and attack the Lira.

From the Turks POV the USA is screaming bloody murder about some kind of unprovable Russian influence on their election while at the same time they instigate a coup against their NATO ally in Turkey and follow through with an economic blockade. That’s one hell of a was to treat a friend and NATO ally.

Iraq is friendly with the USA only because the USA invaded and occupied them. Today, for the first time since the 1950’s they have a Shia dominated government with a leader hostile to the USA. First sign of weakness and they will sucker the USA and drive them out of the country forever..

Brad Isherwood

Wish Syria ….Had**….a Free Syria ….Army ( It’s a play on words. …)

The use of – International Coalition is very close to Rand Partition map of Syria with East Euphrates tagged – International Administration Zone.

This conflict is way to Convenient, with No Push back by Nations as US played the WMD card in Iraq

Now it’s. ..Iranian Terror. .We are staying in Syria to Coalition against Iranian Terror

Ya….No push back from Russia. .. All to Convenient for US/Israhell and Globalist looters. This Fight was rigged before the Smoking Russian Carrier left port.

Promitheas Apollonious

according to you. I think the time for russia to react is very soon now, but not yet and more than likely not where every one expect them to react. They already proved they can never be lured in, or play a game they did not set the stage.

Brad Isherwood

Why is it so difficult for Putin/Russia supporters to recognize Russia fumbled the ball from the first play going into the Syrian conflict? The Pace and choices made gave the US and Israel every advantage on the easy. Syria was already over run/partitioned before Russia went in. Putin giving Erdogan a pass on murder Syrians… is unforgivable.

The entire conflict appears staged and agreed upon. I’ve pointed out on this forum for years that Iran was dragging it’s @ …not sending in Proper Forces. ..Air support,Mobile Air defence. It looks like Iran was playing along from the get go too.

Russia saying Israel’s Security is The Highest Priority,…after IAF violate Lebanon and Syria’s Sovereignty… is all the more disturbing.

Over on Sputnik,RT ….readership are commenting that Russia appears weak after taking so many punches. The stupid smoking Aircraft carrier could have been another 30 Hind Attack Helicopters with Russian Airborne closing down border supply routes. And Confrontation on US military forces illegally in Syria, Iskander and Kalibr their small units .

It looks like Putin threw the towel in on Syria…

Tommy Jensen

So you see everything opposite. Then tell us what you would do with 100 different foreign funded heavy armed millits groups joining and regrouping into US, UK, French, Israeli, Saudi, Turkish, Iranian, Iraqi Special Forces and Intelligence infiltred in Syria? Tell us which magic trick Russia and Assad should have done to turn this situation around on a coin?

FlorianGeyer

Exactly. The 100 years in Europe was similar in its complexity and betrayal and the name demonstrates that fact.

I doubt this conflict will last 100 years , but if one plays Devils advocate , the US/UK conflict with Russia started almost exactly 100 years ago.

Brad Isherwood

Syria is Libya 2.0 Putin saw this from the beginning. Syria need mobility to secure the border Merc supply routes. Mobility to secure places like Tabqa Dam. .. Dier Ezzor. …before it was Seige of Stalingrad

There was years* to secure the Euphrates East and block the trash Kurds from becoming US puppets. It happened on Putin’s watch…. US got 1/3rd of Syria on the easy, And now has SDF Politico Soros type wrecking machine to pull Syria down. ..like USA is buggered

Syria is a MIC playground. They are only concerned about war going off the lease with nukes and don’t hurt Israel I’d wager Iran knows they must play the game… Loose….Have a Rothschilds BIS Central Bank, …and …allow their nation to be humbled in war just like the Masonic want. Notice how Rothschilds backed both Union and Confederate Civil War. All sides Napoleon war. WW 1 and WW 2.

Study History. …see the pattern….see the Usual players.

Rüdiger Preiss

There was a good reason for the Kuznetsov . It was there to learn the US’s vulnerability, who have a lot of aircraft carriers. If you think about it, it takes a lot of efforts to protect those swimming islands. Sinking them would do some very serious damage …

seawolf

Russia is weak not just appears weak. They had to get involved in Syria to delay the pipeline from Qatar to Med until they build their pipeline in Baltic. But this is a short vision for Russians, because competitive gas to Europe will come sooner or later via Turkenistan-Azerbaitsan pipe line, or Qatar -Iran pipeline from south pars or an Israel- Cyprus pipeline via Greece to Europe.

Tommy Jensen

Just a week before all these gas pipes reach Europe borders, Brussel will make a law allowing only windmills for energy in EU. Sorry guys.

Rob

All armed groups except the Syrian army are all illegal, and they all should leave Syrian soil,” said Lavrov

Jens Holm

Arabs for arabia – hip-hip :) . You dont belong to Syria. Allah-Houties, here we comes.

BL

I thought they already had a no fly zone

Jens Holm

They do, but if the war in the green area and around it escalates, they have to defend the yellow zone and limit the possible fightings to there.

BlueInGreen

This is the beginning stages of the wider possibly war to come between Turkey and the US backed forces. Either that or this is just a cold-war type scenario where the US is simply going to gobble up more and more land unlawfully while the UN just sits and watches from afar. US is undoubtedly aiming this move at Russia, Turkey and Iran. This is meant to say “hey We are in TOTAL control of this section of Syria for the time being and we will use this as a negotiation card”; admittedly this is a reprehensible act and needs to be condemned by the UN.

Effectively the US is partitioning NorthEastern Syria to be used as a staging area for attacks against SAA, Iran and Turkish military assets, possibly attacks against Russian assets but the risk that entails is simply to great for the US to bear. There is no doubt in my mind the US has taken this conflict to the next level with this effective takeover and occupation of Syria unlawfully.

Alternatively one could say the US is trying to deter the Turks from harming US backed Kurds but for Turkey the Kurds are a lethal issue that can destroy their own nation if left unchecked. Furthermore the Kurds and the US have taken land that belonged to the entirety of the Syrian nation/people not just the Kurds (who are themselves Syrian). As with past dealings, Kurds have shown that they only care for Kurds mainly (there are some groups of Kurds that actually don’t focus on their own ethnicity but I get the feeling that these Kurdish groups and few and far between, also they won’t be given much of a voice). The biggest issue here is that the Kurds act as a spring board for US, Israeli operations and intelligence gathering, Syria is still an enemy nation so Israel so effectively this means the Kurds are just straight up traitors to the Syrian nation. Kurds are rapidly showing traits that Israel (a racist, Jewish supremacist state shows), I can’t emphasize enough just how bad this recent development is.

US has illegally invaded under false pretense of helping the Kurds. Their real goal is stymieing Iranian, Russian SAA progress and full consolidation of the country. It’s to be expected though. Kurds have betrayed a nation that viewed them as one of their own, as Syrian.

Russia and Iran, Syria need a STRONG response to this. War is all but inevitable now. The US must be kicked out of Syria and Kurds either have to come to the table and talk or risk war.

Damn shame to see it turn out like this……

Israel truly doesn’t want to see a strong unified Syria with good relationships with Lebanon and Iran.

TS

Israel need an inspection of the facilities used in conjunction with and the two research reactors.. they would not ‘pass’…

Jens Holm

Well, You could try to control Your behind Yourself. Thats an option too.

Jens Holm

I dont agree in the big picture, you give. But nice to see some do more then onliners here.

Good job.

Tommy Jensen

Nort East Syria is now American land folks. You better get over it………………………….LOL. The Syrian land West of Euphrate occupied by Assad and Putin is a puzzle piece in Israel´s Great Yinon plan. You better get over that too…………………………LOL. America is a winner nation and we won again. America always win…………………….LOL.

JerryDrake

Sarcasm or delusion?

FlorianGeyer

Sarcasm I hope Jerry.

Tommy Jensen

http://www.israeltoday.co.il/Default.aspx?tabid=178&nid=34685 ……………….LOL.

FlorianGeyer

Collective insanity is alive and well in Israel it seems Tommy :)

Tommy Jensen

Just feel I have to see both sides. With all their special sides, the Israeli´s at least have a refreshing straight on the topic.

FlorianGeyer

Any other country that was ‘as straight’ would be accused of war crimes by the UN. Myanmar ( Burma ) and the ethnic cleansing of the Muslim Rohingra people for instance :)

Mortal

A clinical case, certainly.

Tommy Jensen

http://www.israeltoday.co.il/Default.aspx?tabid=178&nid=34685 ………………………….LOL.

JerryDrake

Sorry, I do not intend to insult, but I do not see a way to communicate with a person who finishes his sentences with LOL, WTF, OMG and similar three-letter abbreviations.

Laguerre2

“Nort East Syria is now American land folks. ” For the next six months maybe. After Idlib falls, there’ll be a reassessment in Washington as to whether it’s worth it.

This is clearly a Zionist inspired plan to get Israeli owned US Military to fight a war with the hated Russians. Our masters have spoken.

Sinbad2

Your master and God is the US dollar, you even stole the Jewish Golden Calf grew it into a bull and it adorns Americas most holy place, Wall Street.

Don’t blame the Jews for American greed.

Israel needs vassals in the Middle East, and the Kurds are their vassals par excellence.

FlorianGeyer

The Kurds are now that ISIS is defeated :)

Wars are about money, US dollars. The US needs to control energy supplies to Europe, so the Europeans can be forced to support Americans in the manner to which they have become accustomed

Jens Holm

That make no sense at all.

“On August 25, a source close to the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces……”

I stopped reading right there. This article is based on gossip.

novychelovek

So what sources inform your opinions?

Snowglobe

To be honest these days almost none. Most of my opinions were formed years ago. I have many online friends and these days we are muddling through together. These days it is a propaganda war of the likes that no one has ever experienced.

My dad was an investigative journalist. He taught me a lot about reading between the lines, and currently the things that he taught me are close to obsolete.

I am not alone in my current conclusion though. “Unnamed sources” are usually cleverly disguised lies, distractions, and manipulations with malicious intent. They are meant to divide and conquer us. If possible they will turn brother against brother.

It is daunting, but we must at least try to be vigilant.

Jens Holm

I did nor, but I also are sceptic in all messages comming about whats going to happen just west of them.

How much is true. What will happen. It would be kind of a shock if USA involved themselves.

When this East Syria protectorate first went up, all the experts were pooh-poohing it as something Uncle Sam wouldn’t be able to pull off. But Syria doesn’t have remotely enough strength to face this enemy; Putin was love-struck by the spirit of Helsinki; Iran has domestic problems; Turkey is sitting on the fence as always; I’m going to make a wild guess Iraqis can be bought off to look the other way. As a result, nobody has meaningfully contested the American occupation. And face it, “stupid” Americans surrounded their intentions with some effective deception: “only fight ISIS”, “withdraw any time now”, etc. By the time the region woke up, the orcs had set up a nice little garrison force.

Is anything even going to change. East-of-Euphrates has been a no-fly (no-drive, no-walk) zone for anyone the US doesn’t want over there for a year already. A bunch of good people died being naive about this.

Jens Holm

Iraqis already are memeber of the coalition.

RichardD

I don’t think that the USAF goes into an area and sets up air bases without radar and air defense. So to the extent that there are US air bases in Syria, they’ve had no fly zone capability from the beginning. The bigger question is who is allowing the US military to operate in NE Syria, which is land locked? It can only be Turkey or Iraq allowing over flights and or ground access. So part of resolving the NE Syria problem is access denial by neighboring states aiding and abetting the illegal military presence in NE Syria.

Jens Holm

You think crap.

Good logistics is to have all You need – not too much – not less then needed.

Airdefence also say, they can protect fast incomming reinforcement of any kind.

Tiny minds in the grip of a single idea….Assad must go in order.to make way for our pipeline.

Trying to put a no fly zone in over NE Syria that even remotely compares to what’s in place over the rest of Syria would be a huge under taking in money and man power requiring far more than the 2,000 troops that the US currently has in theater. That have their hands full just trying to keep control of the secessionists. At a time when Trump keeps talking about getting out of Syria it’s doubtful that it would ever happen. Especially considering that the US public wouldn’t be supportive of it.

With the Idlib clearing operation under way, it’s not going to be long before that’s over and the Syrian government coalition begins implementing the plans and preparations that have been long in the making for recovering NE Syria from the Israelistani Kurds and their supporters. To hold that off, the US is either going to have to considerably escalate it’s involvement, or start fighting a losing battle ceding territory to the Syrian government. At this stage it looks like the latter.

“MOSCOW, Dec 28 – RIA Novosti. More than 48,000 Russian servicemen took part in the operation in Syria in two years, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.”

– Putin told how many Russian military participated in the operation in Syria –
